Chapter 58 I don't want my wife to misunderstand

Olivia had been staring at Gregory, so she ignored Abigail, who was sitting in the passenger seat.

Looking at Gregory's handsome profile, Olivia's heartbeat uncontrollably sped up, and her cheeks turned pink.

She had been preparing the soup since the afternoon, spending four or five hours from handling the ingredients to simmering it over low heat.

But Gregory only glanced at her and furrowed his brows. "I don't need it. You can go back."

Olivia was not surprised because she had come many times before and was always rejected.

At first, she would feel sad, but later on, she gradually got used to it.

In any case, she would be the one to marry Gregory in the end.

Gregory was indifferent and kept his distance from women, so he had not had any women by his side for so many years.

Only she could get close to Gregory through her relationship with Elaine.

Every time Olivia told others about it, she would receive many envious looks.

When she first saw Gregory, she made up her mind. She would marry him and bring him into the White family.

She believed that as long as she persisted, she would be able to move Gregory's heart.

Encouraging herself in her heart, she continued, "Gregory, this is something I spent several hours making. Just try a little. A little is enough."

Gregory's brows furrowed even tighter, and he said coldly, "Ms. Parker, I don't think our relationship has reached that level yet. I hope you won't do such misunderstandings in the future. You can go back."

As he said that, he looked at Abigail, worried that she would misunderstand.

Olivia didn't expect him to refuse so decisively and say such cruel words.

Tears welled up in her eyes, and her eye sockets turned red.

"Gregory..."

"Don't call me that. I've said it before: we have yet to reach that level. I hope you will respect yourself, Ms. Parker."

Gregory seriously doubted if there was something wrong with Olivia's ears.
He had said this more than once, but Olivia seemed to have not heard him at all, and she still came here to find him.

Gregory turned his head coldly, preparing to close the car window.

It was only then that Olivia finally noticed that there was another person in the car.

She couldn't believe it and said, "Gregory... how can she be here?"

Gregory's expressionless face replied coldly, "Ms. Parker, it seems like this has nothing to do with you, right? If there's nothing else, you can leave."

Olivia stiffened for a moment, but she quickly recovered.

She forced a smile and greeted Abigail, "Ms. Martin, I really didn't expect to run into you here. It's so late, and Gregory actually brought you here."

Abigail smiled briefly and then looked at Gregory, her eyes full of doubt and inquiry.

How did she not know that Olivia and Gregory had such a good relationship?

Could they have some hidden past?

Otherwise, why would Olivia put on an air of the hostess and talk to Abigail?

Seeing that Abigail ignored her, Olivia bit her lip and became very displeased.

Abigail was really rude.

Olivia greeted her politely, but Abigail didn't respond to her.

No wonder Roman doesn't like Abigail and prefers that illegitimate daughter, Jessica.

Thinking like this, Olivia scornfully said, "Ms. Martin, do you have business coming here so late? If not, please don't disturb me and Gregory."

Olivia was confident in getting Gregory, as she had long regarded him as her possession.

If something belonged to her, she absolutely would not allow anyone to covet or approach it.

Even if Abigail was Roman's fiancée, she couldn't do it!

Gregory sneered and directly held Abigail's hand, saying, "This is her home. If she wants to leave, she can leave. There's no need to report to you, right?"

Olivia stood still, shocked.

What does he mean... her home?

Why couldn't she understand what Gregory was saying?

Her gaze scanned between Abigail and Gregory, eventually falling on their held hands, leaving her too shocked to speak.

Her tears surged out like broken beads.

"Gregory, how could you do this to me? Are you with her now? Then, what should I do?"

Seeing Olivia's appearance as if she had been greatly hurt, Abigail became even more curious.

Could she really have guessed right? Did something really happen between Gregory and Olivia?
Gregory, however, was somewhat annoyed and glared sharply at Olivia.
He said coldly, "Ms. Parker, I never promised you anything, and we never had any relationship. You don't have to put on this injured look in front of me. I won't sympathize with you."
After saying this, he quickly turned his head to look at Abigail, afraid that she might misunderstand.
But Abigail was calmer than he had imagined.
There was nothing in Abigail's eyes except curiosity, and no other emotions could be found.
Abigail wasn't angry.
This meant that Gregory didn't exist in Abigail's heart at all.
This realization weighed heavily on Gregory's heart, so he clenched the steering wheel in annoyance.
Because of his bad mood, his attitude towards Olivia became even worse.
"Ms. Parker, self-obsession is a disease that needs treatment. I hope you won't come back. I don't want my wife to misunderstand."
After speaking, he immediately reached out and embraced Abigail.
He kissed Abigail's forehead in front of Olivia. "Abigail, don't listen to her nonsense. I have no relationship with her."
Abigail didn't expect Gregory to kiss her suddenly, so she froze.
Abigail blinked her eyes, feeling the skin on her forehead that had been kissed suddenly start to heat up as if a fire were burning.
That fire tended to spread.
It quickly spread to her entire face, and Abigail's ears turned red, too.
Luckily, it was night now, and the surrounding lights were relatively dim, so her embarrassment wasn't exposed to others.
She didn't remember how long she had been stunned until Gregory tightened his hand around her slender waist, and she slowly regained her senses.
Olivia glared at Abigail, but Abigail shook her head and said to Gregory, "Um, I believe you."
Upon hearing Abigail's response, Gregory smiled satisfactorily.
He reached out his hand, unfastened Abigail's seatbelt, and whispered in her ear, "Let's get off."
Abigail nodded and then patted her flushed cheeks, using her hand to fan a breeze.
After getting out of the car, Gregory embraced Abigail's shoulders and walked past Olivia towards the villa.
As she watched their embracing figures, Olivia's heart was pierced with pain.
She rushed over and stood in front of them.
"Wait, are you really together?"
Gregory said, "Isn't it obvious enough?"
Olivia was so angry that she gritted her teeth and said, "What you're doing is simply immoral!"
Gregory sneered with a cold expression.
He stared at Olivia and then laughed, "Abigail and I are both single now, so where's the immorality?"
