Chapter 15 The Strange Mr. White

With every word Gregory said, Abigail's face turned red, and eventually, her neck turned red as well.

Abigail now only remembered the hickey she saw on Gregory's collarbone when she woke up this morning.

Abigail had no idea she had done so many things after getting drunk!

But she didn't have any recollection of it at all!
Abigail was so embarrassed that she wanted to crawl into a hole and interrupt Gregory, saying, "Gregory, stop! I really can't remember any of these things."

Abigail silently thought, "Drinking really isn't a good idea."

Not only had Abigail gotten drunk, but she had also flirted with Gregory, which made her feel even more ashamed.

Seeing Abigail lower her head and wanting to bury her face in the table, Gregory chuckled lightly.

Gregory calmly said, "No! You did a lot of things for me! You handed me your passport! You not only dragged me to get a marriage license but also asked me to take pictures with you. And now, you're saying I have bad intentions! I feel so hurt!"

Abigail slowly covered her cheeks and felt embarrassed enough to find a hole to crawl into literally.

Abigail felt extremely ashamed!

Looking at Abigail's flushed face, Gregory finally decided to stop this prank.

Gregory handed the marriage license to Abigail and said, "From now on, you are my legal wife."

Abigail glanced at Gregory and opened the marriage license.

Gregory had already signed on it.

Abigail's name was also on it.

Abigail's marital status changed from single to married.

Staring at the word "married" for a long time, Abigail's face grew redder, like a tomato.

"Let me keep these. Are we still okay?"

Gregory calmly put Abigail's passport and marriage license into his suit pocket.

Gregory had been specifically instructed to keep the marriage license safe.

Gregory had worked hard to marry Abigail, so losing the marriage license was not an option.

Abigail furrowed her brows and reminded Gregory, "Gregory, the marriage license is related to me."

Gregory raised an eyebrow and playfully acted like he didn't understand Abigail's meaning. "Hmm. So?"

"So, I should keep the marriage license and my passport."

"Now that we're married, our passports and marriage licenses should be kept together! It's not auspicious otherwise. Plus, you still need to familiarize yourself with this mansion. What if you accidentally lose them somewhere and can't find them? So, it's best to entrust them all to me."

Abigail almost believed Gregory but quickly found it suspicious.

Abigail glared at Gregory in anger. "Gregory, are you doing this on purpose?"
Abigail couldn't understand why Gregory didn't want her to keep the marriage license. Because of this, Abigail was successfully stimulated by him and immediately stood up to grab the marriage license.

Gregory seemed to anticipate Abigail's move, so he took out the marriage license and held it high.

Among the girls, Abigail is taller. But compared to Gregory, Abigail's head only reaches his shoulder.

Abigail tiptoed and reached out to grab the marriage license. But Gregory held it even higher.

Using Gregory as support, Abigail tried to pull his arm down forcefully.

Just as Abigail was about to succeed, she was suddenly tripped by the table. As a result, she fell uncontrollably towards Gregory.

Gregory reacted quickly and embraced her slender waist. Then, Gregory sat down steadily in the chair behind him.

Abigail didn't have time to move back, so she sat on Gregory's lap.

Abigail kept holding onto Gregory's neck. Besides that, her cheek was almost pressed against his ear.

Abigail and Gregory were very intimate.

Ralph wanted to come in and ask if they had finished breakfast, but he accidentally witnessed this scene.

Ralph was stunned and quickly left.

Ralph's footsteps were so light that Abigail and Gregory in the restaurant didn't even notice him.

The restaurant fell into silence. Abigail and Gregory both froze because they couldn't believe what was happening before their eyes.

Abigail was so surprised that she didn't dare to move. Her whole body was stiff.

Abigail couldn't understand why she suddenly found herself sitting on Gregory's lap. Originally, she just wanted to grab the marriage license and her passport.

But now...

Abigail closed her eyes in despair.

Abigail could clearly feel Gregory holding her waist. The heat from Gregory's large palms seeped through the thin fabric, making her skin warm.

Abigail couldn't ignore Gregory's strong heartbeat, muscular chest, and scorching breath.

Abigail just wanted to dig a hole to bury herself so she wouldn't have to face Gregory anymore.

While Abigail was lost in her thoughts, Gregory suddenly asked in a low and hoarse voice, "Aren't you getting up? Are you addicted to sitting on my lap?"

Abigail finally snapped out of it and hurriedly got off Gregory's lap. "I'm sorry, Gregory. I didn't mean to."
