Chapter 456 Proposal

Because of that kiss, Abigail's lips were slightly swollen when she left.

After getting in the car, Abigail touched her still-tingling lips and glared at Gregory. "Look at what you've done. How am I supposed to go out and meet people now?"

Gregory awkwardly touched the tip of his nose and coaxed, "You can't tell. Even without any makeup, you still look beautiful."

Abigail snorted lightly and asked him, "So, where are we going now?"

Gregory didn't say, mysteriously replying, "You'll see."

About ten minutes later, the car stopped in front of a styling studio.

Gregory opened the car door and smiled. "We're here. Get out."

Abigail hesitantly glanced at the sign at the entrance and got out of the car. "A styling studio? Why did you bring me here?"

"There's a surprise." Gregory took her hand and led her inside.

The store was quiet, filled with brand-new evening gowns of innovative designs and unique styles. What amazed her most was a white wedding dress on a mannequin in a transparent showcase. The strapless bodice and large skirt were covered with exquisite rhinestones.

Abigail stared in a daze, when suddenly a gentle female voice came from behind. "Are you Mr. and Mrs. White? Hello."

Abigail snapped back to reality and saw a woman in a sexy, form-fitting dress with delicate makeup walking over.

Abigail looked at Gregory, who nodded at the woman and said, "I pre-ordered a dress earlier. Is it ready?"

The woman said, "Yep. It's that one. See if you like it."

Gregory and Abigail looked in the direction she pointed, and it was the wedding dress that had just caught Abigail's eye.

Abigail was stunned, an unbelievable thought crossing her mind as she turned to Gregory, her eyes filled with surprise.

Gregory smiled and nodded. "It's exactly what you're thinking. This dress was designed by the internationally renowned designer Fiona Donovan, the champion of the last International Fashion Competition."

Fiona smiled and tilted her head. "That's right, I'm Fiona. I watched this year's competition, and your name is Abigail, right? I really like your work."

"So you're Fiona. I also really like your work," Abigail said with a smile, shaking hands with Fiona.

Gregory said, "Go try it on and see if you like it."

Abigail glanced at the wedding dress again, her heart inexplicably starting to race. With Fiona's help, she went into the fitting room to change.

Gregory sat quietly on the sofa, waiting.

About ten minutes later, the fitting room door finally opened.

Abigail walked out gracefully in the white wedding dress. Fiona quickly styled her hair and pinned the veil at the back of her head, making her look stunningly beautiful and yet still sexy.

Her rosy face had only light makeup, but she looked so radiant that it was hard to look away.

Gregory's eyes flashed with amazement. He stood up and walked step by step towards Abigail.

Abigail clutched the hem of her dress, looking at Gregory with anticipation. "How is it? Do I look good?"

Gregory stared at her intently, his eyes burning with passion, his voice turning hoarse. "Beautiful, even more beautiful than I imagined."

This custom-made wedding dress, the only one of its kind, took Fiona three months to design with a long train and special Capitise details. She thought no one could match its beauty, but when Abigail put it on, the dress came to life, becoming even more dazzling.

Fiona couldn't help but exclaim, "Oh my God, this is too beautiful. I guarantee there's no one else in the world who suits this dress better than you."

Hearing the unreserved praise, Abigail's cheeks couldn't help but blush.

At that moment, Leo suddenly walked in from outside, holding a large bouquet of roses.

Abigail's heart inexplicably tightened.

Gregory took the roses, knelt on one knee, took a ring box from his suit pocket, opened it, and presented it to her. "Abigail, our marriage started too hastily. It's always been my regret. I know you've always longed for a wedding, and I want to make it up to you."

Abigail covered her mouth in surprise, her eyes suddenly welling up. "I wasn't prepared for this at all."

Gregory moved the ring closer. "Actually, I envisioned many places to propose, but I ultimately chose here. It may not be romantic enough, but it shows my determination. Abigail, I love you. Will you marry me?"

Abigail lowered her eyes, meeting Gregory's passionate and determined gaze, feeling inexplicably moved.

Under Gregory's expectant gaze, she nodded firmly and extended her hand. "Yes."

Gregory's heart filled with joy at her simple words. He quickly slipped the diamond ring onto Abigail's finger, fearing she might change her mind, then stood up, pulled her into his arms, and kissed her.

Abigail couldn't help but tease him, "I've never seen a proposal prepared as hastily as yours. Really, I shouldn't have agreed just now."

Gregory tightly held her hand. "It's too late to regret it now. You're mine for life."

Leaving the bridal shop, Gregory instructed Leo to drive, but it didn't seem like they were heading back to the hotel.

Abigail asked him, "Where are we going now?"

Abigail answered, "You'll find out soon. The bridal shop was just the beginning. Today, you just need to enjoy yourself."
