Chapter 500 Mrs. White is about to give birth!

Hearing this, Gregory couldn't sit still any longer. He sprang up from the couch and rushed outside in a panic.

In the garden, Abigail was clutching her belly, her face pale. In just a short moment, a layer of cold sweat had formed on her forehead.

Michelle stood beside her, supporting her nervously, but her voice carried an inexplicable calm and gentleness. "Abigail, don't worry. Take a deep breath. It's going to be okay, trust me."

Grasping Abigail's hand tightly, Michelle spoke, her voice echoing in Abigail's ears and gradually soothing her tense nerves. Bit by bit, Abigail calmed down.

Soon, Gregory and Caius arrived.

Gregory stood in front of Abigail, looking a bit flustered. "Is it time? Are you in pain?"

Abigail shook her head with a smile. "It hurt a bit earlier, but it's much better now. I'm just a little scared."

Hearing this, Gregory wanted to hold Abigail in his arms immediately, but he didn't dare to touch her, fearing that he might accidentally hurt her.

Michelle, recalling that Gregory and Abigail had no experience in this, smiled helplessly. "Caius, go get the car. Gregory, come and carry Abigail. We're going to the hospital."

Seeing Gregory standing stiffly, Michelle added, "Just be gentle and steady. Don't be afraid."

Gregory nodded woodenly and carefully lifted Abigail into his arms, his muscles tense as he dared not use much force.

Abigail looked at him and couldn't help but laugh. "Mr. White, you're more nervous than I am."

Gregory gently placed her in the car, his voice trembling slightly. "It's my first time, it's inevitable."

Abigail felt a wave of emotion, resting her head on Gregory's shoulder and softly reassuring him, "It's okay, I'm really not..."

Before she could finish, a sudden pain in her lower abdomen made her gasp.

Michelle came in to check on her, and after confirming everything was fine, she sighed in relief. "It's okay, it's just normal. Don't worry."

Soon, the car arrived at the hospital.

Abigail was placed on a stretcher, and Gregory followed closely, holding her hand tightly. "Abigail, don't be afraid. I'm right here."

Abigail smiled and nodded, letting the doctors and nurses wheel her into the delivery room.

As the door slowly closed, Gregory's heart tightened; he leaned against the wall, feeling weak, his forehead covered in cold sweat.

Caius and Michelle stayed by his side, patting his shoulder in comfort. "Everything will be fine. Abigail's pulse is normal, and the baby is being delivered normally. There won't be any problems."

Gregory nodded without speaking, his eyes fixed on the closed door, unwilling to look away for even a moment.

The waiting was the hardest part. After what felt like an eternity, the delivery room door finally opened and a doctor walked out.

Gregory rushed over, his voice urgent. "Doctor, how is she?"

The doctor smiled at him. "Congratulations, your wife gave birth to a boy and a girl. Both babies are healthy and cute. I've delivered many babies, and yours are the most adorable."

Gregory frowned slightly. "What about my wife? How is she?"

"The mother is in good condition. You can rest assured." The doctor smiled and walked away.

Gregory waited outside for a while. When the nurse came out with the babies, he didn't even look at them and rushed inside.

The nurse was about to hand him the babies, but in the blink of an eye, he was gone, leaving her momentarily bewildered.

Michelle and Caius exchanged a glance, and Caius said with a hint of disdain, "He usually seems so composed, but he's so reckless at a critical moment. I'm starting to wonder if marrying Abigail to Gregory was the right decision."

Michelle gave him a sidelong glance and retorted, "If you had been there when I was giving birth, you might not have done any better."

Caius fell silent, acknowledging her point.

Caius cleared his throat and quickly walked over to look at the two babies in the nurse's arms. "They do look pretty good. No wonder they're my grandchildren."
