Chapter 485 Love Makes People Lose Judgment

Henry quickly whispered, "I got it, come down quickly, the ingredients are about to arrive."

Gregory answered, "You guys start first, I still have some work to finish here."After Gregory finished speaking, he directly hung up the phone.

Henry helplessly spread his hands and said to Quinn and Tricia, "Gregory still has work to do, so let's start first. Let's get moving."

Quinn nodded, his expression still indifferent.

Henry thought of yesterday's events and suddenly felt a surge of curiosity. He lowered his voice and asked, "Quinn, did you do something bad behind our backs yesterday?"

Quinn's expression paused slightly, his eyes flickered, but he quickly regained his composure. "Why do you ask that?"

"Don't pretend in front of me, I know everything." Henry snorted lightly and asked curiously, "Do you really have a thing for that Maeve? I don't think she's good enough for you."

He had seen Maeve before.

Despite being quite pretty, Maeve's soft and timid personality made her almost unqualified by the family's standards, as Quinn was never short of attractive people around him.

Quinn's eyes turned colder, and he warned in a low voice, "None of your business. Don't let me hear you talking nonsense again."

Was he really protecting her?

Understanding Quinn's resolute nature and his fondness for the woman, Henry quickly shut his mouth, not daring to say anything more.

He said, "Alright. I won't say anything more. I'm just worried about you and afraid you'll be deceived. You don't know how many people are after your status and background, trying to seduce you."

Quinn frowned slightly and retorted, "She's not that kind of person."

Henry fell silent, realizing Quinn had lost his judgment due to love—and it was serious.

Forget it, since he couldn't persuade him, Henry remarked, "Alright, this time I really won't say anything. As long as you're happy."

Hearing the last sentence, Quinn felt a twinge in his heart. He knew Henry meant well, but emotions were uncontrollable. He couldn't even pinpoint when he started liking Maeve.

Once, returning to Aerilon and unable to see her, Quinn found Maeve's image inexplicably filling his mind—every expression. It felt like being poisoned. After checking online and confirming it meant he liked her, he planned to introduce her to everyone this time, but Maeve wasn't ready. No matter; he could wait.

After laying out all the ingredients and starting to grill, Abigail and Gregory slowly came down from upstairs.

Abigail rubbed her eyes, still looking sleepy.

Gregory held her, letting her lean into his arms, guiding her down carefully, afraid she might accidentally miss a step and fall.

Seeing everyone gathered, Abigail's cheeks flushed slightly, feeling a bit embarrassed. "I overslept, sorry to keep you waiting."

"It's okay. Abigail, sit down quickly." Henry enthusiastically pointed to the seat next to Tricia.

Tricia smiled and waved at her. As soon as Abigail sat down, she immediately hugged her. "Abigail, we haven't seen each other for so long, I missed you so much."

Abigail smiled and patted her back, her tone also filled with nostalgia. "Yes, ever since I found Mom, I've been running between Aerilon and Aramore, so we naturally have less time to meet."

"Will you still go to Aerilon in the future? It's too tiring to travel back and forth like this." Tricia touched her face with concern.

Abigail smiled and shook her head. "Not tiring. After a while, I won't have to manage the company anymore, so I'll have plenty of time. Besides, I want to spend more time with Mom."

They had missed many years together, and Abigail wished she could make up for all the lost time.

"Let's start eating quickly. Just smelling this makes my mouth water." Henry looked at the grilled food, eager to start.

Tricia glared at him. "All you think about is eating."

Henry immediately put on a flattering smile and quickly put in new ingredients. "Honey, you can't blame me. I didn't eat much at lunch to take care of you, and now I'm starving."

Thinking of how she almost fell at noon, and how Henry nervously wouldn't let her get out of bed and even fed her himself, Tricia couldn't help but blush.

Abigail watched their interaction and couldn't help but smile with satisfaction.

Seeing their relationship getting better and better, she felt genuinely happy. As she turned her head, she met Gregory's deep, smiling eyes.
