Chapter 45 Not Familiar with You
Allison vigorously shook her head, anger and resentment filling her gaze as she looked at Abigail. "Principal, she's trying to frame us without any evidence. It's deliberate sabotage!"
"Is that so?" Abigail looked meaningfully at them and then stretched her hand towards Gregory behind her, "Gregory, your phone."
Gregory naturally took out his phone from his suit pocket and handed it to Abigail.
Jessica and Allison stared at this scene in disbelief, dumbfounded.
On the way here, Allison had already learned about Gregory's identity from Jessica.
So, she knew very well how unattainable Gregory was.
In fact, since he entered, Allison hasn't dared look at him too much because of his imposing aura.
But now, she saw Abigail and Gregory's intimate interaction.
Not only her, but even Jessica was stunned.
Her mind was filled with confusion at the moment. When did Abigail and Gregory become so close?
How come she didn't know anything before?
But before she could think too much, Abigail had already opened her phone and clicked on the recording.
Allison's arrogant voice came out clearly from the receiver.
The moment she heard the voice, Allison couldn't help but tremble.
She couldn't help but take two steps back, her eyes filled with fear and panic.
"No, this is not..."
She instinctively wanted to defend herself, but her defense was pale and weak in the face of facts.
From the content of the recording, it was obvious that Allison purposely locked Abigail in the fitting room.
The Principal's face was serious, with a terrifying dark expression.
He looked at Allison with cold eyes. "Is this the accusation you mentioned? Do you have anything to say now?"
Allison was about to cry. She thought she had everything planned perfectly, but who would have thought Abigail would record it?
Just the thought of facing serious punishment soon made Allison especially afraid.
She bit her lip, her face pale, insisting, "Principal, you can't just believe Abigail's words. Maybe she fabricated this recording deliberately to frame me!"
Abigail suddenly sneered, mocking, "I don't mind getting a professional to authenticate it. Do you really want me to do that?"
She had personally recorded the audio, so she naturally knew better than anyone the authenticity of the recording.
But would Allison dare to bet?
If she admits her mistake now, the Principal could go easy on her and give her a lighter punishment.
If she doesn't admit it and is eventually found out, the punishment she will face won't be as simple as just a disciplinary action.
Abigail looked quietly at her, smiling faintly as if she had already seen through everything.
Allison's mind was blank at this moment; she had no idea what to do.
She looked to Jessica for help, hoping she would stand up for her.
In the past, whenever she messed up something, Jessica would always help her solve it.
So, she subconsciously thought that Jessica would definitely help her this time, too.
But Jessica's heart was also in chaos at the moment. She bit her lip tightly and did not say a word.
In her heart, she cursed Allison for being stupid, not even being able to handle such a small matter.
If Today's events were to spread, her reputation at school would definitely be affected as well.
Thinking like this, she put on a smile and walked up to Gregory.
"Mr. White, do you remember me? Abigail is my sister."
Upon hearing this, Abigail immediately retorted, "I've already said it before. My mom only had me; I don't have a sister."
Jessica's eyes instantly turned red; she looked pitifully at Gregory and said, "Abigail, I know you don't like me..."
Before she could finish her words, Abigail interrupted her directly, "If you know, then don't come near me. I don't want to see you."
Jessica was speechless.
Jessica couldn't find the words to say. Tears instantly filled her eyes as if they would fall out the next second.
She wanted to attract Gregory's attention in this way, but when she looked up, she saw Gregory smiling at Abigail.
Gregory didn't even notice Jessica's tears; all his attention was drawn to Abigail.
Abigail's angry appearance was too adorable.
Gregory had to exert a great deal of effort to restrain the impulse to rub her little head forcefully.
Seeing this, Jessica's tears immediately fell.
This time, she truly felt wronged.
Why was it like this?
Didn't they say that men can't bear to see women cry the most? She had been crying here for so long; why didn't Gregory even look at her?
It's one thing not to look at her. After all, Gregory is known to be indifferent, but why was he continuously staring at Abigail?
What exactly is their relationship?
She bit her lip, feeling both wronged and sad. "Mr. White, Abigail might still be angry with me. Can you help me talk to her and ask her to forgive Allison? She didn't mean to lock up her sister on purpose."
Upon hearing this, Gregory sneered, "Do you have a problem with your ears? She said she doesn't have a sister like you, didn't you hear? Or are you pretending not to hear?"
His words were like a shocking thunderbolt in Jessica's heart, tearing her heart apart.
She hurriedly said, "Mr. White, I..."
"Also, don't call me Mr. White; we're not that familiar," Gregory interrupted her.
Jessica originally wanted to use her tearful confession to evoke Gregory's sympathy, but she didn't expect Gregory to ignore her completely.
She had always been successful with this move before and had never failed with anyone.
Being interrupted by Gregory like this, she suddenly didn't know what to say.
Jessica had bullied Abigail for so many years, and finally, seeing her make a fool of herself made her feel relieved.
She looked at Gregory approvingly. She didn't expect him to protect her like this.
However, she was very happy.
This was the first time, besides Tricia, that someone had firmly chosen her over Jessica.
The Principal didn't want to waste any more time with them, so he directly interrupted their conversation.
"Enough, Allison. You doubt the authenticity of the recording, but what about the surveillance footage? Do you think you were really being discreet?"
Allison was startled and asked uncertainly, "What surveillance footage?"
The Principal snorted coldly and turned the screen of the laptop towards her, pointing at it. "See for yourself!"
Allison took a look and immediately froze.
The computer displayed surveillance footage from outside the fitting room.
In the footage, she entered and exited twice. The first time Abigail was called out, she quickly left after going in.
After Abigail returned, she went in again.
This time, after she entered, the other people who were originally in the fitting room and changing clothes were driven out. From the video, their expressions seemed unpleasant.
Allison nervously pursed her lips and lowered her head.
This time, the evidence was conclusive.
She could no longer find any excuses to argue.
The Principal looked at her with a cold tone and said, "Allison, do you have anything to say?"
Allison shook her head and bit her lip, remaining silent.
Who could have thought that Abigail, this little witch, could even find the surveillance footage?
Even if she tried to argue cunningly, no one would believe her.
It might even implicate Jessica.
She suddenly looked up, glaring at Abigail with resentment.
She couldn't understand why someone as dignified as Gregory would treat Abigail differently.
It was clear that Abigail bullied Jessica first, and she just wanted to stand up for Jessica.
She didn't think she did anything wrong.
The only thing she regretted was not being more careful and actually overlooking the surveillance in the corner.
