Chapter 510 The End

Since that day, bodyguards at Maple Residence have multiplied, and Gregory installed the latest surveillance system with a built-in defense mechanism; any intruder triggers an alarm.

But after hearing about how Kyle and Lila were almost kidnapped that night, no one thought these measures were excessive; instead, they felt it wasn't enough.

"It's really despicable, I can't believe Jessica is so vicious!"

"We were too lenient with her before. People like her are just a waste of space."

Gregory and Abigail didn't say anything, but they agreed with the sentiment.

Gregory reassured, "Alright, don't be angry. Jessica will never have a chance to come out again."

Hearing this, everyone felt a bit more at ease.

"By the way, where are Mom and Dad? Why don't I see them?" Abigail noticed everyone was present except her parents and was curious.

Quinn silently took out his phone, made a video call, and handed it to Abigail.

Looking at the island in the background of the video call, Abigail was secretly surprised. "Where did you go? When did you leave?"

Caius, holding Michelle in his arms, smiled and said, "Your wedding is over, and the company is handed over to Quinn. We have no more attachments, so I wanted to take your mother on a world tour. This is our first stop. We'll probably come back when Quinn gets married. That's it, we're going diving now. Talk to you next time."

With that, he hung up the phone.

Abigail helplessly returned the phone, a bit exasperated. "How could they just leave without saying anything in advance, really."

After a pause, her gaze fell on Quinn and Maeve, and she asked, "By the way, when are you two planning to get married?"

Blushing, Maeve covered her face and shot Quinn a look. Chuckling, Quinn took her hand and revealed their diamond rings to everyone.

Henry's eyes widened in shock, and he couldn't help but say, "No wonder I couldn't find you after the wedding, you were preparing for the proposal!"

Abigail thought for a moment. There were many people that day, and she didn't pay special attention, but thinking back, she indeed didn't see them.

For a moment, the gazes on Quinn and Maeve became more ambiguous. Abigail gossiped, "Quinn, you are too much. Such a big thing as a proposal, and you didn't say a word."

Maeve quickly spoke up for Quinn, "I'm not used to having too many people around. Quinn was considerate of my feelings, and we don't plan to have a wedding because we already got our marriage license."

Before she finished speaking, Quinn pulled two marriage licenses from his suit pocket, shocking everyone once again.

Henry heavily patted Quinn's chest and couldn't help but praise, "You really did it, even got the marriage license!"

Quinn looked at Maeve, his deep eyes filled with unwavering affection. "I'm not one to procrastinate. If I want to do something, I just do it."

Better to settle things early, so Maeve wouldn't change her mind in the future.

Hearing this, Abigail couldn't help but look at Gregory, teasing, "No wonder they say birds of a feather flock together. Back then, you took advantage of me being drunk to drag me into City Hall. Was that your plan too?"

Gregory touched his nose, his expression unchanged. "You wronged me. It was clearly you who, after getting drunk, took a fancy to me and dragged me into City Hall."

Abigail glared at him. "Don't lie to me, I remember everything now! But, Mr. White, once I'm married, I won't divorce, so no returns."Gregory pulled Abigail over and kissed her on the lips. "No returns, I can't even spoil you enough, how could I bear to return you."
