Chapter 149 Size
After wrapping up the call, Gregory headed back to the bed but didn't crash.
He was scared that if he got too close to Abigail, he'd lose control.
Ever since they tied the knot, he and Abigail had been sharing the same bed, and it was pure torture for him.
Even though Abigail slept like a rock, she'd still end up touching him.
Almost every night after she dozed off, he'd have to take a cold shower, worried that if this kept up, he'd have some serious issues.
But it turned out it was all worth it.
Abigail had no clue what was going through his head. She thought back to her bold move earlier and wished she could just disappear.
Had she been too forward?
But she didn't regret it. After spending time with Gregory, she knew he was a solid, dependable guy worth betting her life on.
She wanted to take a shot.
She couldn't just enjoy all the perks Gregory brought without giving anything back.
She'd hate herself if she did that.
Suddenly remembering something, Abigail looked up at Gregory and asked, "Mr. White, how do you know the size of condoms so well? Have you tried them before?"
Gregory replied, "I don't need to try; I just know."
He was super confident. Maybe it was just a guy thing.
Abigail's lips twitched, and she didn't push it further.
Meanwhile, after hanging up the phone, Ralph was so pumped he had tears in his eyes. He grabbed a plastic bag and headed to the master bedroom.
He peeked inside the bag, nodded in satisfaction, and knocked on the door.
Hearing the knock, Gregory got up to open the door.
As soon as the door opened, he was met with Ralph's beaming smile.
"Mr. White, I got these ready for you. There are all kinds of brands; pick whichever you like."
Gregory gave Ralph an appreciative nod. "Thanks, Ralph. You can go rest now."
Ralph smiled contentedly and left.
Since Gregory needed condoms, it meant things with Abigail were heating up.
Tomorrow morning, he had to share this good news with Grace to make her happy too.
He also needed to tell the kitchen to whip up some nutritious food.
The more he thought about it, the more excited he got.
If any servant saw the usually cold and serious Ralph grinning like that, they'd be totally shocked.
In the master bedroom, Gregory casually opened a box and shrugged off his robe again.
Seeing Gregory's physique, Abigail's heartbeat sped up.
Feeling her intense gaze, Gregory smiled in satisfaction.
He leaned in, his deep eyes sparkling. "How about it? Satisfied?"
Abigail wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his Adam's apple.
She didn't answer, but it was more telling than any words.
Gregory couldn't hold back the fire inside him anymore. He held her tight, like he wanted to merge her into his very being.
Abigail didn't remember when she fell asleep. She felt like she was floating on the ocean, drifting up and down.
It wasn't until she was utterly exhausted and hoarsely begged for mercy that Gregory finally let her go, satisfied.
When she woke up the next day, it was already afternoon.
Her long eyelashes fluttered slightly as she slowly opened her eyes.
Staring at the white ceiling, her mind seemed blank, her consciousness not fully back yet.
Until a deep, magnetic voice whispered in her ear, "Awake?"
Abigail slowly turned her head to see Gregory lying beside her, propping his head up and looking at her.
Seeing his lively expression, memories of last night came rushing back.
Abigail's cheeks turned bright red, and she quickly pulled the blanket over her face.
Gregory couldn't help but chuckle. "Babe, don't suffocate yourself."
Hearing him call her "babe," Abigail shrank further under the blanket, too embarrassed to face him.
Gregory, feeling a bit helpless, reached out to pull the blanket off her. "Come on, let me see you."
Abigail peeked out a little, her eyes wet and innocent.
Gregory felt his heart melt like butter.
He kissed her forehead and gently tucked her hair behind her ear with his long fingers, saying, "Good morning, sweetie."
Gregory had called her this in his heart countless times, but only last night and today did he finally muster the courage to say it out loud.
People said he was Mr. White of the White Group, the head of the White family, cold and aloof. But in front of Abigail, he was just a young man head over heels for her.
He'd get nervous, feel lost, be disappointed when he didn't get her love, and be enchanted by her kisses.
Abigail bit her lip and said, "Good morning, Mr. White."
Gregory frowned slightly in disapproval. "What did you call me?"
Recalling how Gregory had made her change her address last night, Abigail felt extremely shy.
She softly called again, "Honey."
Gregory finally smiled in satisfaction and gently bit her lip. "Good girl."
Abigail's eyes sparkled as she looked at him and asked, "Why didn't you go to work? Isn't it super busy lately?"
Recently, the White Group had been developing new projects, and their collaboration with the Jewel Group had ended. They were looking for new designers.
Gregory pulled her into his arms and said, "I handled most of the work while you were asleep. Today, my main job is being with you."
Abigail glanced at the bedside table and indeed saw a laptop and a thick stack of documents.
Guessing what Abigail was thinking, Gregory chuckled helplessly. "It's not that bad. Leo helps with some unimportant stuff, and I'm pretty efficient."
He not only had a brilliant business mind but also strong execution skills.
Plus, with many rumors about him, people were naturally afraid of him and wouldn't dare disrespect him.
So, many things that seemed impossible to ordinary people might just take a few words from him.
Abigail nodded lightly and didn't ask more. She had studied finance and knew how capable Gregory was in business.
She said, "You should also take care of yourself and not overwork."
Gregory reached out to rub her head and nodded. "Don't worry, I'll be careful. By the way, are you hungry? I had the kitchen make some chicken soup for you."
At his reminder, Abigail indeed felt a bit hungry. Her stomach even growled softly, expressing its dissatisfaction.
Abigail quickly covered her stomach, her ears turning red.
Gregory smiled and said, "Go freshen up first. What else do you want to eat? I'll have the kitchen make it."
"Anything is fine; I'm not picky." Abigail sat up in bed, ready to get out, but as soon as she moved, a wave of soreness hit her.
The pain made her gasp involuntarily.
