Chapter 202 Remember to Miss Me

Seeing Abigail's happy face, Gregory couldn't help but feel his mood lift too.

He drummed his fingers on the steering wheel and turned to her. "Mrs. White, I've done a lot for you. Don't you think I deserve something in return?"

Abigail blinked, catching on to his hint right away.

Gregory's eyes, though seemingly casual, kept sneaking glances at her, and she found it amusing.

He was the top guy in the White family and the boss of the White Group, able to get whatever he wanted effortlessly. Yet here he was, looking a bit cautious in front of her. How could she not be touched by that?

Abigail unbuckled her seatbelt, leaned over, and gave him a quick peck on his handsome face.

The brief kiss seemed almost unreal, but it instantly lifted Gregory's spirits, softening his expression into a hint of a smile.

Just as Abigail was about to pull away, a strong hand pressed against her waist, pulling her closer to Gregory.

She gasped, and before she knew it, she was almost pressed against his chest.

Looking up, she saw his sexy Adam's apple and those deep blue eyes, like bottomless whirlpools ready to pull her in.

"Mrs. White, your heart's racing," Gregory whispered in her ear, his voice low and husky, sending shivers down her spine.

Abigail instinctively shrank back, blushing as she tried to push him away. "Mr. White, stop it, there are people outside."

"They can't see," Gregory said, and even if they could, who would dare say anything?

He didn't let go. Seeing her flustered, he leaned in and lightly bit her earlobe.

It didn't hurt; it was more like a ticklish electric current shooting straight to her heart.

Abigail's heart raced, and a blush spread across her cheeks. "Mr. White, I'm almost late for work," she pleaded.

Her eyes, like a pleading stray cat's, tugged at Gregory's heartstrings. His soft laughter, accompanied by a low, magnetic voice, quickened her pulse.

Abigail felt her legs go weak, but Gregory didn't hold back, kissing her deeply.

He pried her lips open, kissing her harder, his breathing getting heavier, like he was falling in love all over again.

Abigail could only endure it, eventually giving in and losing herself in the kiss.

Who knew how long it lasted before Gregory finally let her go.

Abigail glared at him, trying to calm her heated and embarrassed body.

Gregory, unfazed by her gaze, simply locked eyes with her, his own darkening.

Abigail probably had no idea how much she attracted him. Just seeing her stirred something restless inside him that he couldn't control.

If not for his overwhelming workload, Gregory would have loved the idea of keeping Abigail constantly by his side.

After a while, Abigail finally felt her face cool down. She opened the car door to leave.

But before she could step out, Gregory grabbed her wrist.

Abigail turned, glaring at him. "You're not letting me go to work?"

Seeing her annoyed, Gregory chuckled helplessly.

He leaned over, straightened her slightly messy clothes and hair, and kissed her forehead. "Go on, and don't forget to think of me."

Abigail lifted her chin, teasing, "I might be too busy for that!"

Gregory found her cute and wanted to pull her back for another kiss, but he held back.

He knew when to stop.

Abigail could hold a grudge, and it wouldn't be good to upset her. In the end, he'd be the one suffering, sleeping alone in a cold study.

There was nothing better than falling asleep with Abigail in his arms.

He ruffled her hair and said softly, "Alright, Mrs. White, think of me when you have time."

"We'll see." Abigail, pleased by his words, grabbed her bag and got out of the car without looking back, making Gregory chuckle.

Once Abigail was out of sight, Gregory started the engine and headed back to the White Group.

As soon as Abigail entered the company, she was met with curious glances.

There was no avoiding it; Gregory's car was too flashy, a globally limited edition Maybach, with only three in the world, and only one in Aramore. Even without seeing Gregory, just the car was enough to identify him.

Staying in the car for so long, it was easy to guess what had happened.

Feeling the different gazes on her, Abigail frowned but ignored them, quickly entering the elevator.

The elevator shielded her from the curious stares, and Abigail couldn't help but let out a breath.

She raised her hand, touching her slightly warm cheek, silently cursing Gregory in her heart. 'Seriously, hasn't he had enough kisses at home? Who kisses in front of so many employees at the company entrance in the morning? He really isn't afraid of making me the center of attention!'

Soon, the elevator reached the top floor, and as the doors opened, she saw Susan standing outside.

Susan greeted her with a smile. "Good morning, Ms. Martin. Your coffee is already on your desk."

Abigail raised an eyebrow. "Alright, Susan, where are you off to in such a hurry?"

Susan had a bag slung over her shoulder, clearly about to go out.

Hearing this, Susan smiled, gently touching her belly, her eyes soft. "Ms. Martin, I've been feeling a bit off lately. Went to the hospital for a check-up yesterday, and guess what? Turns out I'm pregnant."

Abigail couldn't help but show a surprised expression. "Susan, you have a boyfriend? Why haven't I heard about him before?"

At the mention of "boyfriend," Susan's expression stiffened for a moment but quickly returned to normal. "My boyfriend is quite low-key. He's not into me broadcasting our relationship all over the place."

Abigail frowned, feeling something was off with that statement. It seemed a bit strange, but seeing Susan's smiling eyes, she didn't ask further.
