Chapter 466 Whoever dares to touch Abigail, he will make them pay with their life!
Abigail's cheeks puffed up slightly as she angrily said, "Looks like we underestimated David. I didn't expect him to be so adaptable. We've all been fooled by him."
But thinking about it, David stopped at nothing for money. He even harmed Michelle to get the company. Someone like him was just a waste of space.
Gregory pulled Abigail into his arms and comforted her in a low voice, "Don't worry, this time I won't let him get out. The bad things he's done are enough to keep him in prison for a lifetime."
Abigail rested her head on Gregory's shoulder and nodded slightly. "I hope so. Luckily, David's slander against Michelle didn't cause her much harm this time. Otherwise, even if he died ten thousand times, it wouldn't be enough."
A cold glint flashed in Gregory's eyes as he said to Abigail, "I've arranged for someone in the prison, so David won't be left alone and he won't have a good time in there."
But compared to what David did to Michelle and Abigail, it was just a drop in the ocean.
Gregory pondered for a moment, then, seizing Abigail's inattention, he quickly texted Leo instructions to call the police.
Within three days, news came from the prison that David had gotten into a fight and had one of his legs crippled. He was now receiving medical treatment.
Gregory was not surprised by this result at all and instructed Leo, "Keep an eye on him. Since David likes to act crazy, let's fulfill his wish."
Leo was shocked, not expecting Gregory to be so serious this time and to take such harsh measures.
But on second thought, he understood. To Gregory, Abigail was paramount; anyone who harmed her would pay dearly. Crippling a leg was actually lenient.
Before hanging up, Leo heard Gregory instruct, "Keep a close watch on Tom as well. We don't have enough evidence against him yet, so he might be released soon."
Tom was a vengeful person. If released, he would definitely come back for revenge.
Gregory couldn't let Abigail get hurt in the slightest.
After receiving the instructions, Leo immediately went to the police station.
Gregory put his phone on the bed and walked to the balcony, looking at the scenery outside, lost in thought.
Not long after, he heard light footsteps behind him.
Then, Abigail hugged him from behind and asked with a smile, "Why are you daydreaming here? Do you have something on your mind?"
Gregory snapped out of it and shook his head with a light smile. "No, I was just thinking about some work stuff."
"Really?" Abigail looked at him suspiciously.
Her intuition told her that things were definitely not that simple!
Gregory turned around, pulled Abigail into his arms, and smiled without saying a word.
Abigail patted his shoulder and said softly, "Mr. White, I have some work to handle at my company. If you keep holding me, I'll be late."
Gregory was slightly stunned, then released Abigail and smiled. "I'll take you. I need to go to the office to get some documents anyway."
"No need, I'll go by myself. I'll have the driver take me." Abigail waved her hand, not wanting to trouble Gregory with everything. She would be back soon, in about an hour or two.
A few days ago, Tricia saw them and couldn't help but tease them for being together every day without getting tired of each other!
"Alright then, be safe." Gregory reluctantly let go of her hand. After Abigail left, he also drove to the office.
DM and the White Group were in opposite directions, and the two of them left home almost one after the other.
Abigail returned to the office because a representative from the Sylvanor fashion brand had come to Capitise to sign a contract with DM.
The cooperation went smoothly, with almost no obstacles.
The main reason was Abigail's victory in the prestigious international fashion competition, making her choice of DM a significant boost for Capitise's fashion industry.
When Abigail returned to the office and saw the person in charge, she was stunned.
She asked, "Fiona? Is it you?"
Fiona smiled and shrugged, her eyes twinkling. "Surprised, aren't you?"
Abigail nodded heavily. "So, you're the founder of this company and you work here?"
Fiona gave Abigail an appreciative look. "You're very smart. Let me formally introduce myself. I am one of the founders of it. I'm very happy to cooperate with DM."
Abigail smiled and shook hands with her, feeling both surprised and incredulous.
Since they were acquaintances, it was easier to talk. Abigail and Fiona quickly finalized the cooperation plan and signed the contract on the spot.
After leaving the meeting room, Abigail asked Fiona, "How long do you plan to stay in Capitise? If you can stay a few more days, I can show you around."
Fiona was a mix of Capitise and Sylvanor heritage. She grew up in Sylvanor but loved Capitise culture and had received Capitise education as a child. So she had a deep affection for this land.
She answered, "I plan to stay for a few days and have a good look around. I'll be counting on you."
Abigail said, "It's no trouble at all. You're always welcome."
After sending Fiona off, Abigail hummed a tune as she returned to the office. Feeling happy today, she gave everyone the day off.
