Chapter 89 Can't Let Him See Gregory and Abigail's Intimate Scene Alone

Even with Abigail's good temper, she couldn't stop herself from getting mad.

She smiled brightly, "If I actually succeed, what will you do?"

Sandra's eyes filled with more mockery, "If you succeed, you can do whatever you want with me!"

Sandra thought Gregory was impossible to tempt. She'd been at White Group for years and never saw anyone successfully seduce him. Besides the mysterious Mrs. White, no other women were around Gregory.

Abigail's eyes sparkled as she walked past Sandra.

Sandra was stunned and turned around, seeing Gregory step out of the CEO's elevator. Abigail, whom she had mocked, grabbed Gregory's arm.

"Mr. White!" Abigail beamed.

Gregory looked down at her, his usually icy gaze now filled with joy, "Abigail, what brings you here?"

Abigail raised the lunchbox, "I brought you breakfast. Ralph said you came to work without eating."

Gregory was momentarily stunned, then chuckled. "Do you care that much if I had breakfast?"

Abigail nodded earnestly, "Of course, health is everything. Even if you're busy, you can't skip meals."

Gregory felt his heart melting. He nodded gently, "How about you supervise me from now on?"

Abigail's lashes fluttered, and she slowly nodded, "Okay."

Gregory was overjoyed and, ignoring the onlookers, pulled Abigail into his arms. His usually cold face now had a gentle smile.

The surroundings fell silent, and all the employees stared, unable to snap out of it.

Leo, who had been ignored, silently covered his face. This day had finally come. Everyone had to see Gregory and Abigail's moment.

Abigail quickly realized what was happening, felt shy, and gently pushed Gregory. "Mr. White, a lot of people are watching. You should let me go."

Gregory looked up, his cold gaze sweeping around. The gossiping employees quickly dispersed. Gregory smiled in satisfaction, "Now no one is watching," and held her a little longer.

Abigail buried her face in Gregory's chest, not daring to lift it. It wasn't until they were in the CEO's office that her face cooled down.

Gregory held Abigail's hand as they sat on the sofa. "Was someone giving you a hard time?"

Abigail shook her head, "It's okay, they were just doing their job. But Mr. White, will my coming here cause you any trouble?"

Gregory replied confidently, "No, I'm happy you came. I'll make sure you can come in anytime without anyone stopping you."

Meeting Gregory's deep gaze, Abigail's heart raced. She quickly looked away and changed the subject, "The chefs made your favorite food. You should try it."

Gregory smiled faintly and opened the lunchbox. After eating, he wiped his lips and said, "About ast night..."

Abigail's heart skipped a beat, her hands tightening on her knees. She had guessed she couldn't avoid talking about last night. Was this the moment?

Just as she mustered the courage to explain, there was a knock on the door. Gregory furrowed his brows and sternly shouted, "Get lost."

There was a moment of silence outside the door, then Leo's cautious voice, "Mr. White, Gordon Cunningham is here and waiting in the conference room."

Gregory looked at Abigail apologetically, "Abigail, I'll have the driver take you to school. We can talk more this afternoon, okay?"

Abigail quietly sighed in relief and nodded, "Mr. White, go ahead and take care of your work. Don't let me hold you up."

Gregory ruffled her hair before leaving.

After he left, Leo walked in and respectfully said, "Mrs. White, Mr. White asked me to take you to school."

Abigail stood up, "Alright, thank you, Leo."

"You're welcome, it's my duty," Leo replied.

Leo escorted Abigail to the exclusive elevator. As soon as the doors opened, countless eyes turned their way.

Leo coldly scanned the crowd, "What are you all doing here? Don't you have work to do?"

They were still waiting for gossip and didn't want to leave. The scene of Abigail being embraced by Gregory had shocked everyone!

The news had already spread through the company chat group: a woman had come to see Gregory, and he had personally greeted her, showing intimate behavior. Their relationship was definitely not ordinary.

They were all curious about who this woman was. They had never heard of any woman getting close to Gregory before.

Understanding their thoughts, Leo introduced, "This is Mrs. White, the CEO's wife. Next time Mrs. White comes to see the CEO, anyone who dares to stop her will face the consequences."

Everyone was stunned. They all looked at Abigail in disbelief. 'Mrs. White? This is Mrs. White? She looks very young.'

Sandra stood on the outskirts of the crowd, her face dark and grim. She stared intently at Abigail, her hands clenched into tight fists.

Although Leo hadn't mentioned any names, Sandra knew his words were directed at her. Thinking about what she had said to Abigail earlier, Sandra felt humiliated. But more than that, she felt hurt and unwilling to accept it.

She had thought the marriage was just a rumor, especially since Gregory had never brought his wife to the company. But now, she couldn't deceive herself anymore. The harsh reality was right in front of her.

Abigail's red lips curved into a slight smile as she greeted them, "Hello, everyone. I look forward to your support in the future."

She was beautiful, with delicate features and bright almond eyes that sparkled. Her smile was dazzling and captivating.

Many people blushed and quickly waved their hands, saying, "We wouldn't dare."

Abigail's gaze lingered on Sandra for a moment, and she softly said, "Ms. Thomas, do you remember what you said earlier?"

In an instant, all eyes turned to Sandra. Some were watching the drama, some were disdainful, and some were gloating.

Sandra's hands clenched tightly as she took a step forward and, swallowing her pride, lowered her head, "Mrs. White, I'm sorry. It was my fault."

Abigail smiled gently, showing no anger, "You were just doing your job. I don't blame you. But Ms. Thomas, you might need to work on your temper."

With that, she turned and left without looking back.

Leo gave Sandra a cold glance and warned, "Ms. Thomas, watch what you say in the future. If Mrs. White were harsher, you'd be out of a job right now."

Sandra's face turned red with shame, and she couldn't say a word. It wasn't until Leo left that she finally felt the oppressive atmosphere lift.

Noticing the disdainful and mocking looks from her colleagues, her face darkened. "Stop staring, or do you want your pay docked?" she growled.
