Chapter 304 Heartbroken Again

"It's not like that, David, let me explain," Kayla's eyes flickered, a hint of guilt flashing in them.

David sneered. "The photos are right here, what else is there to explain?"

Kayla felt as if struck by lightning, her legs going weak.

She shook her head desperately. "I was forced, David, you have to believe me, this wasn't my intention."

Before David could speak, Susan, standing beside him, laughed and asked, "So, Ms. Smith, are you admitting that the woman in the photo is you?"

Kayla's eyes filled with anger, her reddened eyes glaring fiercely at Susan. "Shut up, this has nothing to do with you, get out!"

Susan's expression changed, and she suddenly put on a pitiful look, leaning into David's arms. "I'm just telling the truth, why are you being so mean?"

Her delicate and soft demeanor instantly satisfied David's sense of superiority.

David put his arm around her shoulder and glared angrily at Kayla. "Enough, the photos are right there, what more do you have to say? Get out, and never let me see you again."

Kayla gave Susan a hateful look, her eyes full of unwillingness.

She took a deep breath and pretended to be understanding. "David, you're still angry right now. I'll come back another day. I understand, you've been manipulated by someone with ill intentions, that's why you're treating me like this. You're not really that heartless."

After saying this, she didn't dare to look into David's eyes and quietly left the hospital.

The drama in the hospital quickly reached Gregory.

Watching the video of Kayla making a scene, Henry sighed. "This Kayla isn't very capable, she didn't achieve anything. I thought she would drive David crazy." His tone was full of regret.

Gregory glanced at Henry, seeing him lounging on the sofa with his legs crossed and casually resting on the coffee table, he couldn't help but frown. "Henry, sit properly!"

Henry quickly put his legs down and sat up straight. "Gregory, is this better?"

Gregory ignored him and continued to deal with his documents.

Henry's lips curved slightly, and he got up to approach the desk, looking at Gregory eagerly. "Gregory, my birthday is coming up, can I..."

"No," Gregory replied.

"I haven't even said what I want yet," Henry pouted, looking at Gregory with a grievance.

Gregory snorted, not even lifting his head. "What you want is nothing more than a sports car, land, a yacht, or a birthday party. I'm guessing it's the yacht?"

Henry's eyes lit up, showing a flattering smile. "Gregory, you know me so well. Gregory, you don't really use that yacht, why not..."

"In your dreams," Gregory refused as expected.

Henry immediately showed a disappointed expression. "Gregory, am I not your closest brother anymore?"

Gregory's face was cold. "No, we're not related by blood."

Henry fell silent—Heartbroken!

He clutched his wounded heart, repeatedly saying, "Gregory, please agree. I'm about to turn 30. On such an important day, shouldn't you show some thoughtfulness?"

He had been eyeing Gregory's yacht for a long time, but Gregory had never relented.

With his birthday coming up, Henry couldn't help but think of the yacht again.

Gregory lazily lifted his eyelids and glanced at him. "Don't even think about it, I'm taking Abigail out to sea in a few days."

Henry fell silent again—Heartbroken again!
