Chapter 123  Flying in the Sky with Him

"Mr. Kingsley!" Brooklyn gritted her teeth. Where did Sebastian get this anger from, and why was he taking it out on everyone?

"The person you want to take is me. I'll go with you. Let them stay. Have your bodyguards put their guns down. It's just a small matter. Is this really necessary?"

Sebastian looked down at Brooklyn, who lay on the stretcher with pale lips. He pondered her words, 'What did she just say? A small matter? She was hacked like this, and it is just a small matter to her!

'Does she want to be hacked to death?

'Since she isn't afraid of dying, why should I worry? Damn it, who was I so angry for?'

"He cut you with a real knife, and I shot him with a real gun. That's fair." With that, Brooklyn's hand lightly pinched her chin, a cold glint flashing in her eyes. "If you dare to plead again, I'll kill them all!"

"The one who cut her was me. Go ahead and kill me!" Tyler yelled. He had returned.

Brooklyn was anxious and angry at Tyler's return. She couldn't understand why he came back.

Tyler's righteous demeanor left Brooklyn stunned. Just a moment ago, he was hacking people like a madman, and now he suddenly turned into a hero saving the villagers.

Tyler clenched his fists and stood at the forefront of the crowd, his self-sacrificing appearance leaving her speechless.

"Go ahead and kill me! My wife and child are dead, this illness can't be cured, and I don't want to live anymore. Just kill me." Tyler said.

Sebastian didn't even bother to give Tyler a look—a red laser from a sniper rifle's scope was aimed at Tyler's forehead.

Tyler, with the gun aimed at him, suddenly went weak in the knees and collapsed to the ground, his pants soaking wet.

"Brooklyn, tell me, should I grant his wish?" Sebastian asked.

Her heart panicked. "Sebastian, the law will punish you. You'll pay a heavy price. Are you crazy?"

"Well then, shall we see if I have to pay a heavy price?" Sebastian's expression remained unchanged, his tone icy.

Brooklyn took a deep breath, clutching Sebastian's sleeve, and whispered so only they could hear, "What do you want? Just tell me."

Sebastian finally showed some expression. He sneered, his thin lips curling into a terrifying smile, more sinister than the devil, more seductive than Satan. "You've finally figured it out. I want you to stay by my side obediently, and I don't want you leaving me even for a moment, or I'll show you consequences you can't bear."

Brooklyn chuckled. "Mr. Kingsley, if you want my unwilling company, I'll oblige. Let them go, and I'll go with you."

The anger in Sebastian's brows gradually faded. "Good! You're not entirely stupid."

Sebastian waved his hand, dismissing the sniper. The red dot disappeared from Tyler's forehead.

Brooklyn closed her eyes, biting her lip in hatred. "Sebastian, you're a devil."

Sebastian bent down, scooping Brooklyn into his arms.

He lowered his chin. "Now, follow the devil and see what hell looks like. I'll broaden your horizons."

Dominant Sebastian carried the injured Brooklyn, walking steadily towards the helicopter amidst the crowd's astonished, admiring, and terrified gazes.

The loud roar once again swept through the surrounding space. Brooklyn was carried into the cabin by Sebastian, who laid her on a large double sofa. The sofa was spacious, and her slender body felt like it was lying on a single bed. The leather sofa was of excellent quality, making her back much more comfortable.

"Let's go."

Sebastian gave the order, and the pilot nodded, starting the helicopter.

The helicopter slowly ascended and quickly left the ground. The figures and houses below grew smaller and smaller, eventually turning into tiny black dots.

But as Brooklyn looked out the window, she was amazed by the majestic mountains before her!

It was her first time seeing mountains like this, the towering, endless green ridges, all the scenery laid out before her, vast and breathtaking.

The helicopter flew through the mountain gorge. There were two waterfalls casting down massive silver streams, splashing water onto the rocks. The view was incredibly beautiful.

"So beautiful," Brooklyn exclaimed in wonder as she clung to the window and took in the breathtaking sight.

The scenery was magnificent, grand, and rugged.

Sebastian, unseen by her, had a rare emotional ripple on his face. He glanced at the scenery outside the window. The view he saw was the same as hers, so did that count as traveling together?

Brooklyn thought, 'Sebastian must have come here not by chance but because of me. Could it be that Sebastian is concerned about me?'

Suddenly, Brooklyn felt a bit guilty and regretful. She glanced at Sebastian's cold profile, awkwardly saying, "Thank you for just now."

Sebastian snorted coldly. "You want to kill me, don't you?"

Brooklyn felt helpless. She told the truth, but he didn't believe her.

The helicopter flew for several hours. Sebastian, concerned about Brooklyn's arm wound worsening, instructed the helicopter to make a stop in the nearest city to take her to a hospital for a fresh dressing and check-up.

Lying in the hospital, Brooklyn suddenly admired herself a bit.

She felt a bit of the greatness and tragedy of a battlefield doctor.

Sebastian sat coldly on the hospital sofa, frowning impatiently. "Brooklyn, did you wish for him to hack you to death?"

Brooklyn laughed, her eyebrows arching, smiling provocatively. "No, it's no fun to be killed in one go. I'd rather live and be tormented slowly."

Sebastian said indifferently, "Since you think it's so fun, I'll hack your good leader, too, so you can share the hardship. How about that?"
