Chapter 66 Inciting Her to Deal with the Mistress

As soon as she spoke, the young nurses fell silent one after another.

The sound of shoes rubbing against the floor gradually faded away, leaving only faint whispers.

"Dr. Mitchell, why didn’t you arrive earlier! Vice Dean Harper Wilson was here just now. He seemed quite disappointed when he didn't see you. I wonder what's going on." Sienna held the medical records, blinking her eyes several times. She seemed more interested in gossip rather than showing concern.

Ellie chuckled. "It is said that after Megan finished the examination, she had a friendly chat with you for quite a while! I was wondering, it's understandable for the surgery department to ask for your help. After all, it's all related to the heart. But the obstetrics and gynecology department has nothing to do with us at all."

"Could it be that my idol has a heart problem?! Dr. Mitchell, what's wrong with Megan's health?" Brooklyn lazily glanced at the time, preparing to find Harper. "Indeed, it's a heart problem."

"Oh my goodness! Is it serious? Does she need to be hospitalized? I don't know if I'm qualified to be her attending physician." Sienna raised her voice in suprise.

Brooklyn chuckled, "You can't save her. This disease has spread throughout her body. It's malignant tumor."

"Ah?!" Ignoring Sienna's dramatic reaction, Brooklyn turned and left the office.

In Harper's office.

With a smile on his face, Harper greeted Brooklyn as she entered, "Brooklyn, you are the most outstanding young doctor in the cardiology department. Mr. Clark and I both have high hopes for you."

"Thank you, Mr. Wilson. What can I do for you?" Brooklyn asked.

"Oh, indeed there is something." Harper took out a stack of papers from the desk. "This is the application form for this year's professor evaluation in our hospital. Please fill it out carefully when you go back."

Brooklyn was surprised. "Isn't it said that those under thirty cannot apply? I'm still several years away from thirty."

"No, this year's evaluation criteria are based on clinical performance. We have seen your performance, but you still need one more professional paper. Write one by the end of this month," Harper explained.

Brooklyn nodded respectfully. "Thank you, Mr. Wilson. I will work hard on it."

"Good, go back to work."

As Brooklyn walked back and looked through the forms, she suddenly saw a question. "Married or not?"

Her gaze quietly paused. In the hospital, everyone thought she was unmarried, and sometimes she even forgot herself that she was a married person.

Suddenly asked to write this, Brooklyn frowned. When her marriage was not even acknowledged by her own husband, could it still be considered a marriage?

The next day at the hospital.

After finishing a bunch of work, Brooklyn looked at the medical records and walked towards the office.

A figure blocked her way, and Brooklyn lowered her head to see the shiny shoes in front of her. She moved to the side, but the person also moved, still blocking her way.

After several attempts, Brooklyn impatiently put away the medical records and looked up. "What are you doing?"

Quinn's handsome face gradually enlarged in front of her face as he smiled. "Brooklyn, why are you so serious? What are you looking at?"

He tried to see what she was holding, but Brooklyn deliberately moved it behind her, not letting him see. "What are you up to again?"

Quinn coughed violently, clutching his chest. "Brooklyn, I'm really sick this time. My chest feels so tight that I can't breathe. I'm weak all over. I feel terrible. Please have a check on me."

Not this again! A playboy! Boring!

Brooklyn walked away without paying attention.

Quinn caught up. "Brooklyn, you can't be so heartless, right? I'm really seriously ill this time. Look at my complexion and my tongue coating. Are they abnormal?"

Brooklyn quickened her pace. "Quinn, if you keep this up, I'll tell Sebastian."

Quinn pouted, and the two arrived at the elevator together. "Brooklyn, Sebastian brought Megan to the hospital for an examination. Don't you have any reaction?"

He came for this? Brooklyn pressed the down button and responded indifferently. "What reaction should I have? I'm too busy to respond."

"I feel sorry for you. Are you willing to let Megan trample on you? Are you willing to let her be so arrogant while pregnant?" Quinn continued.

The elevator door opened, and Brooklyn stepped in. "Are you here to watch the show, inciting me to deal with the mistress?"

"Correct! Brooklyn, you are indeed smart! However, I know you are busy and kind, so I have come up with a solution for you. I guarantee that Megan won't dare to provoke you!" Quinn said.

Brooklyn glanced at him. "Really?"

"I knew you would be interested! However, if I help you deal with Megan, you have to promise me one thing, Brooklyn."
