Chapter 77 Strong and Warm Embrace
How could it be him?
On the screen, Quinn stood there full of anticipation, not knowing what good news had happened. At this moment, Quinn was in high spirits.
Brooklyn frowned, "Did you invite him here?"
Sebastian coldly snorted, "Why not going to answer the door?"
He felt a hint of doubt in his heart.
Just as the door opened, Quinn's laughter echoed from the first floor to the second floor, "Brooklyn, Sebastian is away on a business trip. You're up early!"
Brooklyn wanted to tell him that Sebastian was upstairs, but before she could speak, Quinn had already made himself comfortable on the sofa, propping up one leg, "Brooklyn, the new bag you bought is nice, the latest model, just released in Europe."
"I didn't buy it."
"Brooklyn! How about another serving of the breakfast from that day! I haven't eaten yet, I came specifically for your cooking."
Brooklyn was in a bad mood and retorted impatiently, "Quinn, I just finished work, I don't have the energy to cook, please go back."
Quinn leaned over, teasingly saying, "Brooklyn, I invited you for a meal, and you refused me. You're quite intimate with the male doctors at your hospital, and you didn't hesitate to agree. I even came over to mooch a meal, and you still refuse me."
"Quinn!"
"Quinn."
Two completely different voices sounded at the same time.
Quinn saw Sebastian standing at the top of the stairs on the second floor, his expression instantly changing. He stood up from the sofa, forced a smile, and said, "Sebastian, you're home, I thought you were on a business trip?"
Oops, Sebastian probably heard what he said just now.
Sebastian's expression remained unchanged as if he hadn't heard anything. He coldly said, "Go back."
Quinn chuckled, "Sebastian, I just got here. Do you want me to leave already?"
"Go back!" Sebastian repeated.
Dejected, Quinn left the villa.
The spacious living room fell into silence.
Sebastian's icy eyes were unfathomable, "How do you plan to explain to me?"
Brooklyn looked at the antique shelf, "I have nothing to explain. The truth will speak for itself."
Sebastian scrutinized the woman in front of him. She pretended to be flirtatious and attracted scum like Davon. She didn't hesitate to seduce strangers while working night shifts at the hospital. Now, he heard her having a meal with a male doctor, and on top of that, Quinn thought he wasn't home and came over to demand breakfast.
Brooklyn, your skill at playing with emotions is unstoppable after three years!
"Brooklyn, I will make you see the consequences of your stubbornness," Sebastian warned.
After saying that, he grabbed his coat and car keys and left. Brooklyn hurriedly reached out to grab his arm, "Where are you going?"
Sebastian glanced at her hand on his arm and sternly said, "Let go!"
"What else do you want to do, Sebastian? How many more people do you want to hurt?" She questioned him.
How could this heartless woman, who never thought about how deeply she hurt him, now pretend to be selfless?
Sebastian thought, 'Damn it! She could still put on a self-sacrificing act. How long does she plan to deceive me?'
"You want a divorce, right? Fine, I'll give you a chance." He suddenly sneered, looking down at the woman beneath him, his deep eyes untouchable, not allowing any interference.
"What do you mean?" Brooklyn asked.
Sitting in Sebastian's car, Brooklyn's mind was filled with countless thoughts. Did Sebastian really agree to a divorce? Was he using divorce as a pretext to humiliate her?
The car sped away as if flying, conveying Sebastian's anger. His emotions were on the verge of breaking down.
She looked up and realized they were at the entrance of Aucester Hospital.
Brooklyn gripped the seatbelt tightly, "Why did you bring me here?"
She was completely at a loss. Why would Sebastian make such a move?
Sebastian himself didn't know why he came here. His brain was flooded with blood just now, wanting to strangle Brooklyn, but now he suddenly lost his courage.
It was ridiculous that he, the young master of the Kingsley family, would have such a moment.
The black Rolls-Royce stopped at the hospital entrance, the inside of the car was silent, while outside, people hurried to work.
He punched the steering wheel, swearing that this would be the last time he lost control because of Brooklyn.
However, as he was about to leave the hospital, his phone rang. On the screen was the Turner family's landline number.
"Mr. Kingsley, Ms. Turner seems to be in pain suddenly; her belly hurts; pleaseplease come quickly!"
"Got it!"
He quickly hung up the phone, "Get out of the car!"
Brooklyn's train of thought couldn't keep up with Sebastian's pace, she was puzzled.
"Get out!"
This time, she heard clearly and understood.
Brooklyn fiercely pulled open the car door. She stood foolishly on the roadside, watching Sebastian's car disappear into the distance.
If she hadn't been standing outside the hospital gate, perhaps the following events wouldn't have been so awkward, but she always had such bad luck.
"Dr. Mitchell, why are you standing here? Hurry back and check on things."
A doctor in a white coat ran out of the hospital, preparing to receive an ambulance, and shouted at Brooklyn.
"What's going on?" Brooklyn was puzzled.
"Oh, you better go check for yourself."
Brooklyn frowned, "Okay."
With both her and Sebastian in this state, could things get any worse?
In fact, they could.
Brooklyn, who hadn't slept all night, was almost scared by what she saw on her face in the mirror.
She held the mouse, looking at a popular forum in horror. In the first news box on the homepage, there was a malicious post with a photo of her and Zach in the office.
The bold black headline was clear and eye-catching - "As a doctor, she openly flirts with a stranger in the office during the night shift!"
