Chapter 360 Her Parents Urge Her to Marry

"What's up? You wanna drive too?" Sebastian swirled his coffee, one hand in his pocket, leaning against the window. The sunset cast a glow on his tall figure, making him look like he was in his own world.

Quinn grinned like a kid, "Well, if you are willing to offer, I can take any car of yours."

Over the past couple of years, Quinn had gotten closer to him. Things had really changed since Brooklyn left.

Sebastian shrugged, "If you wanna drive it, just come get it tomorrow."

Since Scarlett didn't want to drive it, it didn't matter if Quinn took it.

But then, Quinn remembered why he was calling. He wasn't just after the car; he was looking for Scarlett! "Wait, Sebastian, I don't need to borrow your car. I just wanted to ask, who was driving your car today? I saw a lady behind the wheel. I tried to catch up, but she was so good she almost lost me. Do you know who she is?"

Scarlett almost lost Quinn? And Quinn was a top-notch driver. Sebastian was surprised and glanced towards the kitchen.

"Someone you don't need to know. Also, Quinn, now that you've graduated and are learning the ropes at the company, you should stay focused and not get distracted." Sebastian's tone shifted, his older brother authority coming through, making Quinn back down.

Quinn tilted his head, "Yeah, I'll listen to you. But, Sebastian..."

"Alright, that's enough for now." Sebastian cut him off.

Quinn stared at his phone, still not ready to give up. He had to find a way to meet this mysterious lady; he couldn't just let it go.

Meanwhile, at the Turner Manor, Karen held Megan's hand, "Megan, don't go back to your room yet. I need to talk to you."

Megan dreaded these talks about her relationship with Sebastian. She didn't want to embarrass herself in front of her parents.

Fiddling with her crystal nails, she didn't look up, "Mom, whatever it is, just say it here. I want to rest early."

Lawrence shook his newspaper, his tone cold and displeased, "Megan, what's going on with you and Sebastian now?"

Of course, it was about this.

"What do you mean? I'm his fiancée, the future wife of the Kingsley family." Megan was exasperated.

Karen smoothed Megan's hair, smiling worriedly but trying not to be too direct, "Megan, since you and Sebastian got engaged, I rarely see you together. And ever since you had a miscarriage two years ago, is it because of your health, or is there a problem with your relationship? Jennifer is also asking, why isn't your belly..."

Megan got angry, shaking off her hand and shouting, "Mom! What do you mean by that! Are you blaming me for not being able to get pregnant now?"

"That's not what I meant, I just feel sorry for you, don't you understand?" Karen tried to comfort her.

"Dad, Mom, Sebastian and I are fine. We will get married. I'll talk to him about it. Mom, you also need to put some pressure on the Kingsley family!" Megan insisted.

Lawrence kept reading the newspaper, "I'll make it clear to the Kingsley family. You, as my daughter, need to have a proper status soon."

That night, at Sebastian's villa, Scarlett finished washing up and walked out of the bathroom. Her phone was flashing on the bed. It was a call from her mom.

"Mom, I'm sorry, I've been busy these past few days in Libertya and haven't called you." Scarlett used a towel to dry her wet hair, her voice softening. In front of Diana, she was always gentle.

Diana held the phone, unable to hide her longing for Scarlett, "Scarlett, are you getting used to life in Libertya? Have you visited any places?"

Did a tour around Aucester count as sightseeing?

Scarlett opened her tablet and found a city, "Yeah, I went to Dreamscape City. People here say it's beautiful."

"That's good. If you like it, you should visit a few more places. There's also Radiance Metropolis, you can check it out. Your father and I went there years ago." Diana smiled.

"Okay! I'll listen to you, Mom!" Scarlett agreed with a smile, but then there was a moment of silence.

Scarlett sensed something was up, so she broke the silence, "Mom, what's the matter? Just tell me directly."

Leon and Diana exchanged a glance, then Leon said, "Scarlett, the King family is asking about your wedding plans. What kind of wedding do you like? Where do you want to hold it?"

Scarlett rubbed her forehead, her hand slipped, and the towel fell to the floor. She didn't even bend down to pick it up, "Didn't you say you'd let me think about it? Why are they rushing again?"

Leon said, "I'll explain to the King family. We're just letting you know, you don't need to be nervous. Just relax."

Diana quickly added with a smile, "It's nothing urgent. As long as you're happy, we'll explain to the King family."

Scarlett didn't want to worry her parents, so she bit her lip, "I'll adjust myself as soon as possible. I'll call the King family and explain everything. You don't need to go there."

After hanging up, Scarlett felt really annoyed. The King family was very powerful in Averlake. Although the Taylor family wasn't poor, compared to the King family, there was a significant gap.

Just thinking about it made her feel upset.

Before she could make the call, Kevin called first.

"Kevin." Scarlett pressed her fingers to her forehead and answered the call.

Sebastian walked out of the bedroom, took a few steps, and heard Scarlett's voice from the hallway. When he reached the staircase, the English conversation switched to French, then back to English, and finally, he heard Scarlett speaking Spanish.

He didn't catch the specifics, but it was obvious they were arguing. Scarlett never raised her voice in a dispute; she preferred to make the other person capitulate through sheer will and icy composure.

At the end, Scarlett said a few harsh words in French, and the call ended.
Dear CEO, Please Be Gentle!
