Chapter 319 Sebastian's Fury

Libertya, Aucester.

"Mr. Kingsley, we really can't get in touch with Mrs. Kingsley. She didn't get a new SIM card, and the hospital confirmed she's not listed as an accompanying doctor," Dario reported.

Sebastian frowned, staring hard at his phone. It hit him—Brooklyn didn't take that watch with her when she left!

"Check the flights! We need to find her!" Sebastian threw off the covers, trying to get out of bed.

Seeing Sebastian's agitation, Dario pressed his shoulders and reminded him, "Mr. Kingsley, you're still not in great shape. You need to heal first. How will you have the strength to find Mrs. Kingsley if you're not well? Don't worry, I'll do everything I can to find her."

Sebastian's fist clenched tight, and he slammed it on the bed's edge. "Damn it! I should've known she'd pull something like this!"

'When did Brooklyn get so bold to deceive me? I'll bring her back and get to the bottom of this!' Sebastian thought.

Dario checked the flights but found nothing. Brian had already erased Brooklyn's flight records when she boarded the plane.

Dario relayed his findings to Sebastian, "Mr. Kingsley, Mrs. Kingsley should still be in Libertya. She hasn't boarded a plane, so she can't be far. Maybe she just needs a few days to cool off, given everything that's happened."

Sebastian's sharp eyes cut through Dario like a knife. His lips were tight with anger and anxiety. "What has happened recently?"

Dario hung his head low, almost touching his chest, too scared to speak.

"Speak!" Sebastian's tone was menacing. He grabbed Dario's collar, ready to snap if he lied.

Dario gritted his teeth, sweat soaking his back, fearing Sebastian might get too worked up and have an accident.

"I said, speak! Do you understand?"

Under Sebastian's pressure, Dario had no choice but to spill everything that had happened recently.

Sebastian's heart shattered at Dario's words about Brooklyn's suffering.

The unhealed wound felt like it had been doused in acid.

Sebastian's eyes blazed with uncontrollable fire. He gripped Dario's collar tighter and pressed, "What else?"

Seeing he couldn't hide it anymore, Dario gritted his teeth and, with a heavy heart, told Sebastian about Megan's miscarriage. After speaking, Dario almost knelt to apologize, but to his surprise, Sebastian's grip loosened.

On the bed, Sebastian looked like a shadow of his former self, drained and haggard. He let out a few cold laughs, his icy, murderous gaze indifferent to everything. His chiseled face lost its warmth, replaced by a cold sternness.

'Megan had a miscarriage? Brooklyn framed her? What a load of crap! Brooklyn would never do that!' Sebastian thought.

Dario, stunned for a few seconds, carefully watched Sebastian's changing expressions. He couldn't tell if Sebastian was heartbroken or something else.

"Mr. Kingsley, although the child is gone, Ms. Turner's health isn't in serious danger. She just needs to rest for a month," Dario said.

"Then let her rest well!" Sebastian's tone was anything but caring.

'How Megan is doing now has nothing to do with me. I've already repaid the life-saving debt. As for the child... Do they really think I care about a child used as a tool to get into the Kingsley family? Do they think I have such a good temper?!' Sebastian thought.

The air in the ward was thick with tension, heavy and oppressive. Sebastian, lying in the hospital bed, was a picture of taut, strained anger, his face resembling that of a demon.

"Contact Zach," Sebastian ordered, pressing his fingers to his forehead, wondering how many more times he'd have to mention that name.

Dario nodded and tried dialing the number, but it was unreachable.

Sebastian's cold gaze hardened. "Brooklyn is missing, and Zach can't be reached either. That's no coincidence."

Sebastian snorted and ordered, "Bring Mr. Clark to me!"

Dario nodded, "Yes, sir!"

In less than ten minutes, George was brought from his office to Sebastian's ward. Dario stood guard outside, letting no one in.

Inside, Sebastian's face was expressionless. Even George, who had seen decades of worldly affairs, couldn't read what was hidden in Sebastian's eyes.

George asked nervously, "Mr. Kingsley, what's wrong?"

Sebastian wasn't in a hurry. When dealing with elders like George, he remained courteous. "Mr. Clark, I heard the hospital sent a medical team abroad?"

George's forehead was covered in sweat. 'Fortunately, Brooklyn isn't among them; otherwise, I'd be dead,' he thought.

"Indeed, they left yesterday morning," George replied.

Sebastian's well-defined hand tapped the cover of a document rhythmically. "Where did they go? Who were the companions? I hope you can tell me personally."

No matter how experienced George was, he still felt a bit scared facing Sebastian.

"What's wrong? Is there something inconvenient for you?" Sebastian asked.

George couldn't dare to be dishonest. After a few seconds of consideration, he said, "They went to Malawa."
