Chapter 420 I'm just domineering, so what?

The raven-colored sky was brewing a heavy rain, as if the raindrops could break through the clouds at any moment. Over the airport, planes were taking off and landing, their roaring sounds drowning out the surrounding conversations.

The person picking up passengers probably feared the impending heavy rain would catch them off guard. Those without umbrellas quickly rushed to nearby shops, corridors, and cafes to take shelter. Within just a few minutes of the clouds gathering, the once crowded plaza was nearly deserted.

A black Rolls-Royce was parked in the sparsely populated plaza. Surrounding cars backed away, fearing they might accidentally scratch the luxury car and be unable to pay for the damage. Soon, within a 150-foot radius of the parking spot, no other vehicles were parked.

Suddenly, the rain poured down!

The fierce late-spring rain seemed to be making a final farewell to the spring. Without any prelude, it lashed down on car roofs and umbrellas, quickly accumulating clear, clean rainwater on the ground.

Sebastian opened the car door and, with one hand, opened a black umbrella. His shiny leather shoes stepped into the puddles, the water rising over the soles and splashing onto the shoe surface, sliding off the glossy crocodile leather.

With long, clean fingers gripping the umbrella handle, the tall and elegant Sebastian took a few steps forward. His pure white shirt and jet-black trousers made him appear even taller and cleaner. Even standing in the rain, he still exuded an unwavering air of poise and confidence.

The heavy rain pounded on the umbrella, making a sound. People around struggled with their umbrellas, occasionally cursing in frustration. Only he stood there, quietly and gracefully, as if separated from the downpour.

He stood at a height unattainable by others, majestic and imposing.

Scarlett walked out of the airport, pulling a suitcase. She was jostled several times by the crowd before finally making it to the exit. Looking up at the sky, she thought, with the rain this heavy, the arrogant and germophobic Sebastian probably wouldn't come to pick her up, right?

She stepped out onto the platform. Outside the row of tall floor-to-ceiling windows, colorful umbrellas blocked most of the view. However, behind the brightly colored umbrellas, a black umbrella stood out, held high above the others.

Scarlett seemed rooted to the spot, gazing through the glass at the figure outside. Her heart suddenly raced.

Through the rain and the crowd, amidst the crisscrossing umbrellas, Sebastian stood there quietly, looking handsome and dashing. In the distance behind him were the mountains of the Aucester suburbs, creating a grand and expansive backdrop that added to his lofty aura. In the misty rain, it seemed as if all the scenery was receding, leaving only him.

Their eyes met. Scarlett's lips curled into a charming smile.

Sebastian's thin lips lifted into a slight smile as well.

"Long journey, Mrs. Kingsley." Sebastian wrapped an arm around her waist, bending down to press his lips to her forehead. His gentle smile seemed to disperse into the rainy air.

Scarlett looked up, her clear eyes gazing at him. Her red lips curved into a graceful smile, her elegant voice completely separate from the noise of the rain. "I came for you, Mr. Kingsley."

Under the black umbrella, Sebastian and Scarlett gazed at each other with deep affection, neither willing to end the moment of intimacy.

Owen took the suitcase from Scarlett and placed it in the trunk, then returned to the car to wait for Sebastian and Scarlett.

Scarlett looked at Sebastian as if she hadn't seen him in centuries. After a long while, she said, "I thought you wouldn't come."

Sebastian hugged her shoulder, pulling Scarlett closer to him. "I thought about not coming. But if I didn't, I might lose you."

Scarlett stifled a laugh. "I never admitted to being your wife. Your wife is Brooklyn. I'm just the unreasonable and annoying Scarlett, not worthy of Mr. Kingsley."

Sebastian's large hand covered her back, pulling her tightly against his chest, leaving no space between them.

His warm breath brushed against her face, making her already clear and bright face blush instantly.

"Whether you're Brooklyn or Scarlett, you're my wife. There's no doubt about that."

Scarlett pouted. "So domineering!"

After taking a shower and changing into clean clothes, Sebastian and Scarlett almost simultaneously opened their bedroom doors. Stepping out, they saw each other's outfits and both laughed.

Scarlett had chosen a white dress and white slippers.

Standing outside the other door, Sebastian was dressed entirely in black.

A pure black shirt, black trousers, and even his slippers were black. The black clothes made him look even more attractive, his face exuding a wild and unrestrained charm.

She rarely saw Sebastian dressed all in black, but he wore it exceptionally well. The rolled-up shirt sleeves rested at his elbows, revealing his lean and clean forearms.

He looked very handsome and imposing!

"Dressed like that, are you planning to be Batman?" Scarlett crossed her arms and teased him.

Sebastian shrugged and smiled helplessly. "I thought, given your style, you'd come back in a black dress again. Looks like I miscalculated today. But it's fine, we make a black and white duo."

"Why don't you say we are the male and female thieves?" Scarlett couldn't help but laugh heartily, her eyes crinkling with amusement.

Sebastian didn't say anything, just watched her laugh, waiting until she was done.

Scarlett's laughter abruptly stopped, and she looked around awkwardly. "Why are you staring at me like that?"

Sebastian furrowed his brows. "I'm wondering who did your plastic surgery. It's so flawless that I must meet this person."

"Why? Are you thinking of getting surgery too?"

Sebastian smiled slowly, walking over to her and naturally taking her hand, intertwining his fingers with hers. "Do you think my face needs any improvement?"

"Narcissist!" Scarlett was speechless.Sebastian pinched her small nose. "Yes, I'm a narcissist. With a wife like you, I'm not only narcissistic but also very proud. How about that?"

Scarlett pouted again. "Who said I'm your wife? I don't remember that at all."

As they walked downstairs together, the staircase was wide enough for them to walk side by side.

Sebastian, with one hand in his pocket, holding her hand, thought for a moment and nodded. "You're right. Looks like I really need to get remarried."

Scarlett looked up. "What do you mean?"

Sebastian stopped in his tracks and looked down at her fair, rosy face. Her face was truly deceiving, making her look at least five years younger than her actual age. He couldn't help but wonder if the real Scarlett was indeed much younger than Brooklyn.

"I mean, you need to marry Brooklyn's ex-husband. Ms. Taylor, would you be willing?"

Scarlett's free hand tightened suddenly, a smile spreading across her pink lips. "Is this a proposal?"

"You could say that."

Scarlett shrugged, clearly dissatisfied with Sebastian's answer. She took a step down, making her even shorter compared to him, but her gaze remained defiant. "You're on your second marriage, but this is my first. Isn't this proposal a bit too shabby?"

Sebastian smiled faintly and nodded in agreement. "Alright."

In the living room, Sebastian let go of her hand and glanced at her arm. The bandages had been removed, leaving a faint scar that was healing well. "Is your arm better?"

Scarlett nodded. "It's fine now."

"In that case, lunch is on you." He smiled.

"Hey! Sebastian! I just got off a plane. You really know how to use your resources."

Sebastian sat on the sofa, casually picking up a magazine and placing it on his lap. "Your cooking is better than mine. I like eating your food."

"Funny, I like eating your food too. So, you cook lunch." Scarlett crossed her arms, not backing down.

Sebastian propped his head on one hand, as if calculating. "Let me think. You're my personal doctor, personal assistant, personal driver. I provide you with accommodation and a car... It seems you should be cooking for me."

Damn it! How could he say that?

Scarlett gritted her teeth, angrily retorting, "That's because I'm your..."

Sebastian tilted his chin slightly, pressing for an answer. "What are you to me?"

Damn! He's setting a trap for her?

"Nothing. I'll go cook, Mr. Kingsley."

'This bastard! Sebastian, you really are a big bastard!' she cursed inwardly.

But just now, she really couldn't recognize that she was his wife.

As she turned, Sebastian suddenly extended his arm, grabbing her hand. Using his strength and weight advantage, he pulled her, causing Scarlett to fall onto the sofa, landing right in his arms, leaning back against his chest.

Sebastian looked down at her face, leisurely and with a hint of a smile, his mischievous expression evident. "You are my girlfriend, Fiancée or Live-in wife?"

Scarlett arched her back, only to be pressed more firmly against his chest. "I haven't agreed yet!"

He wasn't in a hurry. "It's okay. You can agree now. You can only choose to be my girlfriend or fiancée?"

Was there a significant difference?

Scarlett refused to choose. After all, she was a woman with a temper and personality. How could she succumb to his manipulation?

"I don't want either!" She tilted her head arrogantly, refusing to let him have his way.

Sebastian actually laughed, his long fingers brushing her cheek, nodding in satisfaction. "Since you won't choose, I'll choose for you. How about becoming my wife directly? You can move into my bedroom tonight."

"No way! That's too fast!" She shouted.

"Then, what's your suggestion?"

Scarlett felt herself being controlled by Sebastian.

"Let's start as boyfriend and girlfriend." She had no choice but to compromise.

"Alright."
