The black Bentley disappeared into the endless dark night of Aqua Vista City.
Sebastian leaned back in his seat, irritably loosening his tie. His long fingers gripped the corner of the tie, and his deep voice carried a hint of anger. "Book me a table for tomorrow night at Velvet Oasis International, the top floor. And get me a bouquet of flowers."
Bill, driving cautiously, asked, "Mr. Kingsley, how many seats should I reserve?"
"Two."
Though Bill couldn't see Sebastian's expression, he could sense the impatience in his voice. It was clear that whoever he was dining with tomorrow wasn't someone he liked.
Bill carefully asked again, "What kind of flowers would you like, Mr. Kingsley?"
"Anything but roses and camellias."
Sebastian closed his eyes wearily, his deep voice tinged with a faint melancholy. "Turn on the radio."
In this kind of night, he suddenly wanted to listen to some music.
