Chapter 349 You Have Talent, I Have Money

Sebastian strolled down the last few steps, each stride confident and deliberate, and plopped down on the main sofa, crossing his legs with a natural, noble air that screamed arrogance. "Didn't expect it to be you."

'He sounds kinda pissed,' Scarlett thought, smirking to herself.

She walked over to the seat across from him and sat down. "So, you're the one who wants me to treat you?"

When Scarlett grabbed his wrist that day, she sensed he had a heart problem and now she knew she was right.

Sebastian leaned back slightly, hands crossed over his stomach. "Ms. Taylor, you're quite perceptive."

Scarlett sneered, 'Duh, isn't it obvious?'

"I refuse. I don't treat just anyone or any illness." Her tone was resolute, leaving no room for negotiation.

'He's just a jerk, despite his wealth; a classless rich guy,' she thought.

Sebastian remained composed, seated in the eerily quiet living room with just the two of them. In such a grand villa, the absence of servants, butlers, or cleaners seemed odd.

Sebastian's gaze was intense as he looked at her. In the elegant, simple living room, her white shirt and black pants fit the style, but her expression was too cold.

Scarlett felt uneasy under his stare. "What are you looking at?"

Sebastian poured some tea. The tea in the cup was bright and fragrant.

"I have an offer you can't refuse." He took a sip.

Scarlett's eyes flashed with mockery. This guy was way too confident! "Let's hear it."

Sebastian held the cup, his long, clean fingers with perfect nails, every detail immaculate. "You have talent, and I have money."

He said it slowly, arrogantly.

Scarlett chuckled. "Funny, but I don't need money."

'Trying to buy me with cash? He doesn't get me at all,' she thought.

Sebastian played with the cup, the liquid reflecting his deep, mysterious eyes. "You might not be around to enjoy it."

Scarlett's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?"

Sebastian pressed a button on the remote, and the big screen on the wall showed Lisa and Cory trapped in a house, surrounded by guards in black!

He actually used such dirty tactics!

"You're threatening me?! That's not very gentlemanly!" Scarlett stood up, furious.

Sebastian turned off the screen. "If you want your assistants safe, Ms. Taylor, you'd better cooperate, or else..."

"Wait!" Scarlett closed her eyes, thinking, 'Damn it! I messed with a scumbag. What won't a scumbag do? I can't be tough with him.'

Sebastian raised an eyebrow. "What?"

Taking a deep breath, Scarlett sat down again, her throat dry. She grabbed the kettle and poured a cup of tea, drinking it in one gulp. "Let's talk."

Sebastian shifted his crossed legs. "Alright. Lay out your conditions"

'Damn it! I'm actually in a weak position!' she thought.

"I'll treat you, but you must release my assistants. Some treatments need their help."

"Of course."

"And, I don't like media exposure. Protect my privacy."

"Of course."

"Also, I didn't plan to stay long in Libertya, so I can't guarantee I'll always..."

"Ms. Taylor, that's not a problem. Plans change." He cut her off.

'Alright! He won't give me many choices anyway,' Scarlett thought.

"Ms. Taylor, any other requests?"

"That's it." She shrugged.

Sebastian nodded. "Great. Now, my conditions."

'A patient setting conditions? How rare!' she thought.

Sebastian ignored her changing expressions. "Firstly, from today, you're my personal doctor. You can't treat anyone else."

"I get it." Scarlett said.

"Good. Also, for emergencies, you'll need to stay here and be available at all times."

"What?!" Scarlett jumped up, angry.

"Is there a problem?" he asked.

She gritted her teeth. "No!"

"Good. Lastly, you're solely my personal physician, with no authority to meddle in my matters, but you must handle necessary troubles for me."

What an unreasonable demand!

"Such as?" she cautiously questioned.

"Just handle things as they come," he replied casually.

Scarlett looked up at the ceiling, letting out a cold laugh. "I'm your doctor, not your servant."

Sebastian tapped his knee with his finger. "I'm your employer, not just your patient."
