Chapter 367 To Think They Would Evaluate Him Like This!
Scarlett's red lips curled up as she tilted her head, amused, eyeing the ever-dignified Sebastian inside. "Sure thing! As long as you're not scared of a little rough ride."
Sebastian raised an eyebrow, totally unfazed. "Ms. Taylor, you're in charge. Do your thing."
She sneered, curling her fingers one by one, ready to give him a hell of a ride. "Alright then!"
Sebastian closed his eyes, leaning back lazily without another word. Owen looked at them anxiously. Was this really going to be okay? Scarlett was the same woman who had deliberately crashed into a car to extort money that day. What on earth was Sebastian thinking?
Sitting in the driver's seat, fastening her seatbelt, Scarlett kicked off her high heels.
In the rearview mirror, Sebastian's face was relaxed, his brows smooth, clearly enjoying himself.
'Fine! I'll let you enjoy it to the fullest!' she thought.
She started the car abruptly, no warning. The top-tier luxury car went from 0 to 65 miles per hour in 4.5 seconds, and Scarlett didn't hold back at all.
'If you don't get nauseous, then my year of driving sports cars was for nothing!' she cursed in her heart.
Sebastian sat steadily in the back seat, maintaining his posture no matter how much she accelerated. Not only was he not thrown around, but his hairstyle remained intact.
Scarlett floored the gas pedal, making a sharp turn. The massive inertia almost threw her against the glass, yet Sebastian remained firmly seated in the back, as solid as a rock.
How could he possibly sit so steadily? It defied Newton's Laws of Motion, flaunting logic and physics with such ease.
She sped all the way, almost making herself want to throw up.
Damn it! She pounded the steering wheel with her fist when they finally stopped. Could it be that her driving skills weren't good enough to handle this modified car?
Sebastian opened his eyes, looking at Scarlett's defiant yet helpless profile. He had to admit, Scarlett's driving skills were quite impressive, almost professional level. Such skills couldn't be honed in less than three years. "Ms. Taylor, are you satisfied with this car?"
"A top-tier car, with shock absorption and bulletproof reinforced seats. If I'm not mistaken, it also has air cushion suspension." Scarlett's tone was deliberately disdainful, subtly mocking him for being overly fussy.
Sebastian slowly sat up straight, resting one hand on the seatback, feeling the leather cover. "You passed."
Scarlett wrinkled her nose, gripping the wheel tightly. "What do you mean?"
"I can't always have you around if you are only my doctor. So, you'll be my driver too from now on, just in case I need medical help when traveling. Wherever I go, you follow," Sebastian said.
Seriously? Scarlett's patience was wearing thin. She couldn't take it anymore! "I'm your doctor, not your servant. Get that straight." She really wanted to drive the car into a ditch!
Sebastian's long, clean fingers played with the leather cover, tapping lightly, slowly kneading. "Compared to a doctor, you seem more suited to be my chef, servant, driver, and also, cleaner."
"Are you planning to use my assistants to threaten me? I don't believe there's no place in Libertya where I can find justice!"
She couldn't be controlled by him. She had to rescue Lisa and Cory as soon as possible, or she'd go crazy.
Sebastian furrowed his brows. Could it be that Scarlett still didn't know who he was? She had no reason not to investigate him.
"You're good at pretending, but it doesn't work with me. You can act like you don't know me and keep your arrogance, but you must understand, no matter what you do, I have ways to make sure you achieve nothing," Sebastian said indifferently.
The car suddenly accelerated! This time, Sebastian wasn't prepared and almost hit the front seat. He braced himself with his hand on the seat to maintain balance. After steadying himself, he sat back in his original position.
If the inertia had been a bit stronger, Sebastian's head would have been in trouble. Scarlett's thin lips curved up, smiling innocently. "Sorry, I really don't know who you are. Are you asking why I haven't Googled you?"
The man in the back seat did not respond, knowing she hadn't finished venting her anger.
"Obviously, who you are doesn't matter to me. It won't change my current situation, and besides..." Scarlett claimed, but in fact, she wanted to check, but no matter which way she tried, she couldn't find any information about him.
She tried to check his license plate number, but the system blocked his information. She tried to upload his photo online, but it was rejected, warning her of illegal activity. She searched keywords, but none of the photos that came up were him.
After getting nowhere, she gave up. She believed he would reveal his identity eventually, and when that day came, she would strike back hard!
"And?" Sebastian asked.
Scarlett shrugged. "I have no interest in the life history of a scumbag."
What did Scarlett just say? A scumbag? Scarlett actually described him like that!
