Chapter 91 Unrestrained Possession

She reached out to pick up the clothes on the ground to cover herself, while the lazy Sebastian beside her murmured in a low magnetic voice, "Is it necessary?"

"It is necessary." She gritted her teeth in retaliation.

Ignoring his sarcasm, Brooklyn wrapped herself up and turned to the bathroom to wash up.

Sebastian slowly opened his eyes and watched her back. Her snow-white back was shielded by the messy scattered long hair, and her butterfly bones faintly visible, and a pale back with a few bruises he had caused.

He had been too engrossed in their intimacy just now, completely forgetting to control his strength.

She seemed to be injured.

In the bathroom.

It was not until the water wets his knees that Brooklyn realized she was an injured patient.

The sound of rough knocking on the door drowned out the sound of water. What was Sebastian up to again?

She ignored it and continued to shower.

"Open the door!" Sebastian urged.

"I'm showering!"

Sebastian cursed, "Stupid woman!"

He found the spare key and clicked open the bathroom wooden door, facing Brooklyn standing in the mist.

"What are you doing? Get out!" Brooklyn shouted in astonishment.

Sebastian saw her knees and his gaze turned cold, "The one who should leave is you!"

Without hesitation, he picked her up, letting her resist with fists and feet, and directly carried her upstairs, throwing her onto the bed.

"Stupid woman! Don't you know you're injured? You just applied medicine!"

Brooklyn pounded the sheets in anger, "Sebastian, you madman! What are you doing?"

He violently tossed the medicine box to her, "Deal with it yourself!"

The next day, the soreness on Brooklyn's body finally eased a bit.

She was excused from work and suddenly had an extra day off, and she didn't know how to arrange it.

After changing clothes and freshening up, she belatedly thought, where was Sebastian?

Heading downstairs, she wanted to make herself some breakfast, but the fridge was empty except for three eggs.

She was prepared to boil the eggs when the phone rang.

"Darling! You're constantly in the news every day. Your popularity is soaring! At this rate, you can make a movie in a month, titled The Rise of Dr. Mitchell!"

Brooklyn leaned against the door frame, staring at the pot, "Calling me early in the morning just to mock me? Watch your mouth."

"No way! I just came back from Milan, attending Fashion Week, and unexpectedly, I was greeted by your news again, the renowned Dr. Mitchell. Do you remember what day it is today?"

"Today is your birthday! Don't tell me you don't even remember your birthday!"

Brooklyn slapped her forehead, indeed, today was her birthday, and she had completely forgotten, "Girls don't like celebrating birthdays after turning eighteen, each birthday is just a reminder of getting older. Forgetting is not bad."

"Self-deception! You forgot, but I didn't. I came back specifically to celebrate your birthday. You don't have plans today, right?"

Having lived abroad for a long time, besides Kelly, she didn't have many friends in her home country, so she usually didn't have any social gatherings.

"Kelly's invitation, all other plans will be put aside."

"Then change into clothes and wait for me. I'll come pick you up later and take you to a good place!"

"I'll drive myself. Just give me the address."

"Forget it, with your car?"

Her car was parked in a corner of the villa garage, surrounded by several million-dollar luxury cars belonging to Sebastian, making her car look out of place.

After changing clothes, she planned to apply light makeup. But when she looked in the mirror, she was dismayed. Her swelling hadn't subsided. How could she go out?

She applied layer after layer of concealer, trying hard for half an hour. She had only intended to apply light makeup to cover the bruises and eye bags, but as she continued, it went awry. In the mirror, earth-toned eye shadow, cherry blossom blush, light pink lipstick. Brooklyn looked at herself in surprise.

She couldn't help but think a bit narcissistically. Maybe she wasn't that bad after all?

The doorbell rang while she was choosing shoes.

She hurried downstairs barefoot to open the door, but froze when she reached the stairs.

She wondered, 'Why was Sebastian still at home? Wasn't he supposed to be out?'

The key point was, he was holding a peeled white boiled egg in his hand.

"Darling, are you ready? I'm here to pick you up!"

Once inside, Kelly's loud voice rang out.

Just two minutes ago, Sebastian had just peeled the egg when the doorbell rang. Seeing it was Brooklyn's friend, he opened the door.

But Kelly had originally thought Sebastian wasn't home.

The three of them stood in a perfect equilateral triangle, the two women facing each other, stunned.

When Brooklyn came downstairs, he had already seen her glamorous makeup. She usually dressed plainly, but now she was trying hard to show off!

Sebastian thought, 'Brooklyn, you're really good at disguising!'
