Chapter 320 Sebastian Was Very Angry

Half an hour later...

"Dario, get to Malawa ASAP and find Zach at this spot. I need Brooklyn's location, no matter what it takes!" Sebastian barked.

He thought to himself, 'In Aucester, Brooklyn's only lifeline is Zach. He's the only one who can make her vanish without a trace. Plus, he knows that the watch she always wears has a tracking function. Even if she didn't leave with him, he must know where she went.'

"Yes, sir! I'm on it."

Sebastian squinted, his fingers clenching tighter, veins popping on the back of his hand. After sending Dario off, he coldly ordered Owen, "Get Megan to see me!"

Owen shivered at the mention of Megan, his voice trembling, "Mr. Kingsley, Ms. Turner just had a miscarriage. She's not up to moving around much right now."

Sebastian's icy stare drilled into Owen. "If she can't walk, she can crawl to me!"

Owen didn't dare disobey. Only after leaving the room did he wipe the sweat off his forehead. He took a deep breath and headed to Megan's ward. Seeing Jennifer and the Kingsley family's servants coming down the hallway, Owen quickly stepped aside, hands down, to greet them. Afraid of being questioned by Jennifer, he hurriedly fled, not even daring to take the elevator. He ran down two flights of stairs.

"Sebastian, what's wrong? Why do you look so upset?" Jennifer asked with concern, her hand adorned with an expensive ring reaching out to touch Sebastian's forehead. Sebastian's cold gaze swept over her fingers and the ring on her hand.

Suddenly, he thought of the long scar on Brooklyn's face, realizing that scar must have been left by Jennifer when she slapped Brooklyn. That was something Sebastian could not tolerate, nor would he forgive!

Sebastian's voice was ice-cold and quick, "Stop!"

A bone-chilling voice abruptly halted Jennifer's action. Her fingers trembled, unable to believe that Sebastian had said this to her.

Jennifer's face turned awkward and pale as she asked, "Sebastian, what's wrong with you? I am your mom."

Sebastian lifted his chin, his gaze fiercely unwavering, and stared harshly at Jennifer. He said with a mocking smile, "Mom? You are indeed my mom. When you were slapping my wife, did you forget that you are my mom?"

Jennifer's back stiffened, tensing up. It wasn't so much what Sebastian said, but the way he said it—the coldness in his eyes, the resolute determination—it was like he was facing an enemy.

Jennifer's heart skipped a beat, her tone turning icy. "How dare you speak to me like that!"

Sebastian's expression didn't change, his voice still cold and resolute. "You drove my wife away and now you're mad at my tone? Mom, I think you've forgotten my temper over the years."

Over the years, his marriage with Brooklyn had been troubled, and he couldn't be bothered to deal with many things, especially at home, where he usually went along with whatever Jennifer said, not out of weakness, but because he simply didn't care; but now, it was time to remind Jennifer what kind of son she had.

Jennifer's eyes widened, her hand slowly retracting. She swallowed hard and said, "Sebastian, you have to believe me. Everything I do is for your own good. I just want you to be happy."

Sebastian didn't even bother to give her a cold laugh, maintaining his icy demeanor. "For my own good? If this is your way of being good to me, then no thanks."

Jennifer felt a vague unease, thinking, 'If Sebastian suddenly has this attitude towards me, what will happen if he finds out that Brooklyn has already left Libertya and will never return? Will he sever ties with me or leave the Kingsley family altogether? No, that absolutely can't happen!'

Thinking of this, Jennifer disregarded Sebastian's emotions and tightly grasped his hands. "Sebastian, Brooklyn hurt Megan and caused the death of your child, do you know?"

Upon hearing this, Sebastian almost exploded. Without showing any emotion, he forcefully pulled away from her grip and said, "I will get to the bottom of this!"

As they were arguing, Owen wheeled Megan into the ward.

Megan thought Sebastian was concerned about her and wanted to see her as soon as possible. As soon as she entered, she sweetly and elegantly called out, "Sebastian."

Jennifer held her forehead with one hand and said sternly, "Sebastian, don't go too far. Megan just had a miscarriage, and she is currently unwell."

Sebastian didn't care about that; what truly worried him was his wife's disappearance rather than Megan's poor health.

Sebastian's distant attitude towards Megan was obvious to everyone, except Megan herself, who looked at Sebastian with a sweet smile, as if he were her beloved.
