Chapter 536 Injustice Redressed, Sebastian Suffered for Many Years

Brooklyn stood at one end of the red carpet, her smile radiant and pure, basking in the adoring gaze of Sebastian, like a bride awaiting her groom amidst a sea of flowers.

Step by step, the man walked over fallen petals, each step echoing in the hearts and breaths of everyone present.

Sebastian, already tall and imposing, seemed even more majestic. He was flanked by Brandon, Dario, James, and Bianca. The four of them, dressed in black, with cold, serious expressions, formed a formidable backdrop for Sebastian, their presence like a tidal wave overwhelming the entire banquet hall.

So damn handsome!

That was the shared thought of Ophelia and Kelly at that moment.

Brooklyn's face softened with a gentle smile, transforming from a lone heroine to a charming little wife. Sebastian, under the admiring gaze, reached Brooklyn, took her small hand in his, and tenderly brushed a strand of hair from her forehead. His voice was as smooth as fine wine. "Sorry I'm late, babe."

Brooklyn shook her head gently, their eyes meeting with a mischievous smile, "Not too early or too late. Just in time."

Sebastian squeezed her hand, "You've worked hard, babe. Leave the rest to me."

Brooklyn smiled serenely, her face glowing, "Alright."

Seeing the microphone in her hand, Sebastian raised an eyebrow. "Mind if I borrow this?"

Brooklyn arched an eyebrow, "Go ahead."

Sebastian nodded to Dario, who then invited Brooklyn to step aside. A servant brought over a luxurious, cushioned chair.

"Mrs. Kingsley, please have a seat."

Brooklyn nodded, "Thank you."

The room fell silent.

Among the two hundred guests, aside from the disabled Simon, everyone else, regardless of status, was standing. Yet Brooklyn was treated like a queen, seated with Dario and Bianca, two high-ranking, stern-faced bodyguards, standing behind her.

Megan's face turned ashen.

'Sebastian... How is he here? When did he arrive? What did he hear?'

Sebastian walked leisurely to the now terrified Megan, bringing the microphone to his lips. His deep, pleasant voice filled the hall, "Ms. Turner, I forgot your question. Could you repeat it?"

Megan nearly collapsed, barely caught by a bridesmaid. Simon, in his wheelchair, looked up at Sebastian with a forced smile, "Mr. Kingsley, it's all a misunderstanding. The staff brought those photos without our knowledge."

Sebastian looked down at Simon coldly, "Mr. Scott, I was asking Megan."

Under his pressure, Simon fell silent.

Megan bit her lip, "Sebastian..."

"Speak. What do you want me to confirm? I'm here now, so say it all."

The guests were silent.

Susie clenched her fists.

Donny and Amarantha hid in the crowd, not daring to make a sound.

Ophelia gripped her wine glass, finding the situation amusing.

Megan's face turned ugly, "I... didn't want to ask anything. It's all a misunderstanding... a misunderstanding..."

Sebastian's voice, amplified by the microphone, boomed, "Since it's a misunderstanding, Ms. Turner, explain how photos of Brooklyn and me ended up at your wedding. Who took them? Who made the disc?"

Megan bit her lip so hard it nearly bled, "Sebastian, I don't know... those photos... I didn't take them. I don't know."

Sebastian's eyes darkened. "Not you? Then who? Ms. Turner, you can tell me, or I can find out myself. The outcomes will be very different."

Megan broke into a cold sweat, clutching her wedding dress, "It was... Susie gave them to me."

"You're lying!" Susie jumped out, pointing at Megan, "Megan, don't slander me! It was all you!"

Megan, cornered, knew she had to deflect Sebastian's anger.

"Susie, you fell for your brother-in-law and resented Brooklyn for marrying him. You came to me for help, remember?"

Megan turned the blame entirely on Susie.

Brooklyn tapped her fingers on the chair, again and again.

"No! You're lying! You loved my brother-in-law and used me to drug my sister! You took those photos!"

The crowd was in an uproar. A sister and a rival teaming up against Sebastian's wife!

Sebastian's eyes bore into Megan, his voice commanding, "Speak. Tell the truth. With so many witnesses, I'll give you a chance to explain."

"No... I... was wrong... Sebastian, I was wrong..."

She reached for Sebastian's suit, but he stepped back in disgust.

"Wrong? Ms. Turner, explain what you did wrong." He handed her the microphone, "Speak."

Megan, trembling, looked at Sebastian like he was the Grim Reaper. She had no choice but to take the microphone.

Susie shouted, "Sebastian, Megan has always wanted to frame my sister. It was all her doing!"

Sebastian glanced at Susie, silencing her.

Megan, shaking, held the microphone, tears streaming down her face. She had hoped to use Sebastian's absence to discredit Brooklyn, but she never expected him to show up.

Quinn had been sent away, and their plan was foolproof. How did it go wrong?

What should she do?

"Ms. Turner, confess and you'll be treated leniently. Resist and you'll face severe consequences. Didn't you learn that in prison?" Sebastian's voice was calm but firm, shocking Megan.

Prison! She couldn't go back!

With a thud, Megan knelt, "Sebastian, please forgive me! Please!"

The guests were stunned by the sudden turn of events.

Megan clung to Sebastian's pants, but he stepped away, leaving her sprawled on the floor.

Lawrence and Karen rushed to help her, "Megan!"

Sebastian said, "Megan, if you want mercy, don't waste time. Speak."

Megan, tear-streaked, looked up, "I... I'll tell. Back then... I had Susie drug Brooklyn, then I staged a scene and took photos to give to you..."

Her voice echoed through the hall, sealing her fate.

Sebastian, arms crossed, looked down at Megan, "Is that all, Ms. Turner?"

Megan, her face a mess of tears and sweat, shook her head, "No... I..."

She had done many things to Brooklyn, but she couldn't confess them all.

Sebastian nodded to Brandon, who brought in a trembling woman, Megan's former agent.

Megan's face turned red, "Sebastian, you..."

Sebastian looked at the agent, "Speak. Tell everything you know."

"Valery! I treated you well! Don't betray me!" Megan tried to grab her, but Brandon pulled her away.

Valery said, "Mr. Kingsley, back then... Megan was pregnant, but not with your child. She had an affair with a co-star and used the pregnancy to force you into marriage."

Brooklyn smiled, impressed by the drama.

Sebastian smirked, "Continue."

"Megan planned her miscarriage to avoid the truth being discovered. She framed Mrs. Kingsley to force your divorce..."

Kelly was so shocked.

The media were stunned by the scandal.

Sebastian nodded, "And?"

Megan shook her head, "No more! No more!"

"Speak!"

"Actually, Megan and Mr. Kingsley never... did anything. She drugged him, and he was always unconscious. She staged everything to make him misunderstand. I helped too."

Brooklyn's eyes widened. They never had sex? She couldn't believe it.

However, Sebastian knew it. He had suspected it for a long time.

He had investigated the truth and found Valery.

Brooklyn, eyes moist, walked over and took Sebastian's hand, "You..."

Sebastian held her waist. "Darling, I'm finally vindicated."

Brooklyn hugged him tightly, "I'm sorry I doubted you."

Sebastian kissed her hair, "I'm sorry too. It won't happen again."

At this moment, James, in a suit, approached, "This wedding is quite the spectacle."

Megan looked at him, "What do you mean?"

James pulled her up, "I have the real copy. Want to see it?"

Dear CEO, Please Be Gentle!
