Chapter 302 Don't Worry About Your Brother and Me
Albert tossed Yvette onto the bed. As her back hit the soft mattress, memories came rushing back—frame by frame, emotionless yet heavy with humiliation and pain.
Her heart ached sharply. No matter how much she wanted to forget everything Albert had done to her, her heart wouldn't let her.
Back then, Albert couldn't stand her, only wanting a divorce. Her regretful actions made him sick, so he used the harshest words to humiliate her.
But he wouldn't just let her go; he put her on a high pedestal, like a target for everyone to aim their arrows at.
And him? He'd come home drunk, venting his desires on this very bed. It wasn't love, just pure torture.
Yvette instinctively tried to get up and escape, but Albert's broad body had already pinned her down.
He leaned in, his broad shoulders and back completely blocking the light from Yvette's eyes. With his superior strength, he pinned her down.
The room fell silent, with only the rustle of their clothes and their labored breathing filling the air.
Yvette felt Albert's familiar breath enveloping her, and she could only bite her lower lip and endure.
Albert looked down at the resisting Yvette, his Adam's apple bobbing, softening his voice.
"Yvette, don't you have anything to say to me?"
"I'm Jessica, how many times do I have to say it?" Yvette frowned. "What's there to say about our relationship?"
A trace of resentment flashed in Albert's eyes. "These past few years, have you been with David all along? Have you ever thought about me?"
Yvette responded coldly, "What's it to you? You don't need to concern yourself with my relationship with David."
The open animosity in Yvette's gaze rendered Albert speechless. He found solace in her hatred, knowing it was a lesser pain compared to losing her.
"You can fool everyone, except me. You are mine, you are Yvette." Albert tried to soften his tone, not wanting her to hate him more. "I'm very worried about you. I just want to know if you've been doing well these past few years."
Yvette turned her head away.
"David and I have been doing very well."
Albert ignored Yvette's repeated denials. He raised his hand to pinch her delicate chin, looking at her deeply. After a long time, his Adam's apple moved slightly, and he said in a low voice, "Yvette, I miss you very much."
Yvette looked at Albert with cold eyes, sneering at his words.
How could he miss her? He spent millions on a watch or a car, and in his eyes, she wasn't even worth that much.
Yvette's constant indifference finally made Albert a little angry. "Yvette, don't look at me like that."
He had tried everything, searched for her for so many years, wanting to tell her the truth.
But when they finally reunited, she had become David's wife and even had David's child.
He felt like a huge joke!
"Are you done? If you really miss your wife Yvette so much, I'll play along with you when I have time." Yvette didn't want to entangle with him any longer and reached out to push him away. "I can't help you with anything else. I'm leaving now."
Before Yvette could finish her sentence, she was halfway up when Albert shoved her back down, pinning her to the bed.
Albert grabbed Yvette's wrists and held them above her head. Panic surged through her; she knew what was coming. He was always dominant, sometimes violent, in bed.
She shrank her shoulders, trying to hide her neck. "Don't touch me! Albert, have you no shame!"
Yvette's reaction said it all. How could David's wife Jessica know such intimate habits?
"I have no shame," Albert said. "You know that better than anyone."
Albert's lips descended, capturing her moist lips instead of her neck. Caught off guard, Yvette tensed and, after a moment of shock, began to struggle frantically. But she couldn't match his strength.
Albert's overwhelming kisses unleashed his long-suppressed emotions, nearly melting Yvette with their intensity.
His hand restlessly moved to her lower abdomen, the cold touch instantly bringing back memories of when she was abandoned, forced to clutch her stomach and jump off a bridge.
Yvette broke down instantly, slapping Albert wildly, her fingers scratching his neck.
Pain surged, and Albert hissed as he pulled back.
Yvette finally breathed in fresh oxygen. Taking advantage of the moment, she pushed Albert away.
"Get off!"
The pain in his neck left Albert stunned.
Yvette's furious curses echoed in his ears, her breath labored. Albert felt as though his blood had turned to ice.
Albert's gaze, sharp as blades, bore into Yvette.
He raised his hand to touch his neck, blood staining his fingers.
Her resistance made him realize that after three years, she had truly changed. She was Yvette, but not the same Yvette.
Albert's emotions grew more intense. "Get off? Do you tell David to get off when he touches you?"
"Of course not! David is my husband."
"Husband?" Albert looked at her coldly. "Yvette, are you glad about what happened three years ago? It allowed you to change your identity, to be with David openly, and have his child."
Hearing this, Yvette trembled with anger, her eyes cold and furious as she looked at him.
How could he ever change? He always judged her with the harshest words; this was who he was.
Because he didn't love her, he hurt her recklessly.
Now, the entanglement was just because he couldn't stand the Yvette he discarded like trash daring to defy him, reject him. He couldn't take it, that's all.
"You're disgusting, Albert," Yvette said through gritted teeth.
Albert's aura was cold and sharp, his eyes bloodshot.
The thought of Yvette spending these years by David's side, being his wife, and giving birth to a pair of boy and girl twins made his heart almost explode.
Yvette was his woman!
How dare they?
Albert scowled, moving closer with each step. "I'm disgusting? I've been alone for three years. And you, Yvette? You married David, slept with him, and had two kids with him!"
