Chapter 368 Fell Down!
Yvette was extremely distraught. She threw herself at Albert, trying to grab the phone to stop Tyrell, but Albert restrained her.
Albert gripped Yvette's slender waist with one hand, his chiseled face even more tense, his eyes cold and stern.
Albert warned Tyrell on the other end of the phone, "Do you think your wife and child are well hidden?"
Tyrell's voice on the phone abruptly stopped. After two seconds, he exploded in an angry roar, "Albert, are you threatening me?"
Albert frowned tightly. "The price I'm offering will satisfy you. But if you insist on venting your anger, you'll bear the consequences. I've already told you the cost."
Albert was undoubtedly threatening him, asking whether he wanted to take the money and leave with his wife and child or throw the two children off the building to vent his anger.
If he did something impulsive, not only would he be caught, but his hidden wife and child would also fall into Albert's hands.
Albert didn't give him a chance to negotiate further and hung up directly.
Albert's expression was grave. He glanced at Vincent, who immediately brought over the prepared money.
At this moment, Yvette was trembling. She forced herself to calm down and trust Albert.
She tightly clutched the hem of Albert's expensive shirt, wrinkling it completely.
Yvette looked up at him, her tear-filled eyes full of pleading and pain. "BoBo and CiCi will be okay, right?"
"Yes." Albert's well-defined hand gently stroked her lower back, comforting her, "Trust me."
Just before the first ray of morning sunlight broke through the night, Albert and Vincent, along with Yvette, found Tyrell hiding on the third floor of an unfinished building.
Albert and Vincent threw the suitcase full of cash in front of Tyrell. "Take the money and release them."
Albert exuded a terrifying aura, his presence as biting as winter, his sharp eyes sweeping over Tyrell. His voice was icy and devoid of warmth.
BoBo and CiCi were originally in Tyrell's arms. As soon as they saw Yvette, they shouted and tried to rush over, "Mommy!"
But Tyrell held the two children tightly, his arm around their necks. The children were still young, and a strong man's arm could easily...
Thinking of this, Yvette's already red eyes filled with more tears.
"Don't move, babies!" Yvette tried her best to stabilize her emotions and the children's. "Mommy is here, be good and don't move, okay?"
CiCi was a bit confused but obediently complied.
BoBo had already understood what was happening, gritting his teeth and holding on, his red eyes making Yvette's heart ache.
BoBo looked at Albert, his small mouth trembling as he tried not to cry. "Uncle Albert, it's dangerous here. Can you take Mommy away?"
Yvette's heart broke seeing BoBo's understanding. "Mommy will protect myself."
Yvette felt extremely guilty. She wasn't a competent mother and hadn't protected her children.
If anything happened to the children today, she would never forgive herself.
Albert looked at BoBo, his expression serious, making a solemn promise to the three-year-old, "Don't worry, your mommy is safe."
It was a conversation and promise between ''men''.
After comforting the two children, Albert's cold eyes swept over Tyrell, throwing an old phone in front of him. "Count the money, release them, and I'll let your wife and child video call you."
Tyrell hooked the phone to himself with his foot, raising his chin at Albert. "Open the suitcase and count it for me."
Vincent immediately opened the suitcase, revealing stacks of cash to Tyrell.
Tyrell's eyes lit up. After being in prison for years, he hadn't seen so much money in a long time.
He grinned wickedly, and someone immediately came over to take the two suitcases of money.
Throughout the process, Tyrell's arm never relaxed even a bit.
It wasn't until he heard his accomplice's voice in his earpiece that Tyrell showed a satisfied expression.
Yvette stared at the two children, nervously saying, "You've got the money. Now can you release my two children?"
"What's the rush?" Tyrell raised an eyebrow. "I'll consider the money as compensation for my mental distress. Now, let's settle the real score."
Tyrell, holding the two children, retreated to the edge of the floor.
The unfinished building had no walls, and the edge of the floor had no guardrails, making Tyrell's actions extremely dangerous.
With just a push, he could send the two children off the building.
"No," Yvette screamed in panic, "What do you want? I'll give you anything, just don't hurt them!"
Yvette was about to rush forward, but Tyrell tightened his grip, threatening her, "Don't come any closer!"
Albert immediately pulled Yvette back, his eyes fierce as he looked at Tyrell. "Don't touch the children. Name your demands."
Albert knew these two children couldn't be harmed. He understood how much Yvette loved them. He had to save them so Yvette wouldn't lose the will to live.
"Demands?" Tyrell, holding the children, moved. "My demand is for all of you to die!"
With that, he pushed the two children towards the edge of the floor. They screamed as they were thrown out, and Tyrell turned and ran downstairs.
"No," Yvette screamed, rushing towards the children, completely disregarding that they were on the third floor!
Before Yvette could move, Vincent had already grabbed her. "Let go of me!"
Screaming in pain, Yvette saw Albert leap out, catching the children as they were pushed off the building. Watching in horror, she saw Albert, holding the two children, fall from the third floor. Reaching out, she tried to save them, but the distance was too great.
"No!" Yvette's heart-wrenching scream shattered the night, and a ray of light suddenly broke through the darkness.
Yvette collapsed to the ground, trying to crawl over, but Vincent held her tightly.
"What are you doing? He fell! My children fell too!" Yvette cried in despair. "Why are you holding me back? Why?"
Vincent's heart ached, his voice trembling. "Mr. Valdemar said, no matter what happens, I must ensure your safety!"
