Chapter 566 Medical Examination Report Leaked

Sunlight slanted through the tall hospital windows, casting golden beams across the sterile corridor.

In this hushed environment, a woman emerged from the inner examination room.

"Dr. Moretti." Violet rubbed her temples with delicate fingers, her voice carrying a fragile tremor. "Are my results ready? Do I have something serious?"

Benjamin turned, his stern expression softening slightly at the sight of her. He closed the examination room door and temporarily suspended his consultations.

"Let me check." Benjamin clicked through several screens on his computer. "Nothing to worry about—just general fatigue and weakness. Don't overthink it. More exercise, more sunlight, and you'll gradually improve."

"Thank you." Violet smiled, though her eyes sparkled with barely concealed excitement.

Her luck was extraordinary. After the gala ended, Violet had discovered that Albert hadn't caught her, which meant she still had opportunities to move freely. For someone in her position, this was nothing short of miraculous news.

She had immediately rushed to the hospital for a check-up. Benjamin had been her attending physician for years—they knew each other well. What Violet hadn't expected was the incredible stroke of fortune that brought Yvette to see him on the same day.

Hidden in the inner examination room, Violet had heard every word of their conversation, including the devastating details of Yvette's condition. Just as she'd suspected—Yvette was dying.

A triumphant smile spread across Violet's face, her eyes crinkling with pure delight as euphoria coursed through her veins. She practically glided toward Benjamin, her gaze bright with curiosity.

"That woman who just left—does she have some terminal illness? Is she dying?" Her voice carried an almost musical quality.

Benjamin's expression grew uncomfortable. He neither confirmed nor denied her question, his silence speaking volumes.

Sensing his reluctance, Violet stepped closer, her disappointment evident. "What's wrong with her, exactly?"

Benjamin's face showed clear discomfort as he stared down at the files on his desk, seemingly searching for appropriate words.

Violet moved another half-step closer, studying his expression intently. "Actually, I know Yvette. We were high school classmates. We haven't seen each other in years, and I never imagined we'd meet again under such circumstances."

Benjamin looked up, startled. "You know each other?"

"Of course!" Violet gave him a playfully reproachful look. "What kind of person do you think I am? Someone who randomly pries into your patients' medical conditions and private lives? I'm just deeply concerned and want to understand her situation better."

Violet sighed, her demeanor appearing non-confrontational while internally she was determined to extract this information today.

"Her condition is indeed heartbreaking. Her husband doesn't seem to know about any of this yet."

A flash of surprise crossed Violet's eyes before she quickly masked it.

After a moment's consideration, she continued, "Dr. Moretti, could you give me a copy of her medical records and test results? I'd like to see exactly what she's dealing with so I can use my connections to help her find solutions."

"That would be a violation of her privacy."

Benjamin's face showed clear reluctance at Violet's request. He glanced at her with a hint of helplessness, his brow furrowing slightly. His arms crossed defensively over his chest as he clearly wrestled with whether to comply.

Violet didn't give up. During those few seconds of his hesitation, she had already moved closer.

Without allowing him time to think, she gracefully positioned herself beside Benjamin, her arms encircling his neck with fluid motion. Her movements carried a subtle seductiveness, her gaze radiating an irresistible allure.

Benjamin froze, his heart rate immediately accelerating.

Violet had been his patient for years, and though as a doctor he shouldn't know details of her private life, he had inevitably learned of her marriage over the years. At the time, he'd felt a pang of regret that such a beautiful woman had married an elderly man.

Now, with her arms around his neck in such an intimate gesture, he found himself completely flustered.

Benjamin struggled to maintain professional composure despite his panic. He attempted to gently remove her hands, his voice firm as he said, "I understand your concern, but I cannot violate hospital regulations by giving you Yvette's medical records and test results. That information is confidential."

Violet didn't retreat easily. Her fingers traced delicate patterns along Benjamin's neck as her lips curved into a subtle smile. "Dr. Moretti, please tell me—just to help Yvette. I promise I won't tell anyone. I simply want to understand her condition."

Her voice carried a coaxing sweetness that was nearly impossible to resist.

There was something almost hypnotic about her tone that made Benjamin's gaze grow distant and unfocused.

Benjamin felt the softness and warmth of her fingers, caught the intoxicating fragrance of her perfume, and found himself overwhelmed by unfamiliar sensations. He swallowed hard, his eyes flickering with uncertainty as he struggled with whether to grant her request.

He was a doctor—he should maintain his professional ethics.

But Violet was utterly captivating.

Benjamin drew a deep breath, his face showing resignation as he realized he couldn't resist her charm. Moreover, Violet's intentions seemed genuinely compassionate—she wanted to help Yvette.

Given that Violet had previously married a powerful, wealthy older man in Luken, if she truly had connections that could benefit Yvette, perhaps he would be doing a good deed.

Benjamin looked at Violet, not daring to return her embrace but speaking with obvious tension in his rigid posture. "You must promise not to share this information with anyone."

Violet's eyes lit up with recognition that her strategy had succeeded, sparkling with indescribable excitement.

"Absolutely!" Violet was elated. "I'll definitely find ways to help her, don't worry!"

The thought of obtaining Yvette's medical records filled Violet with barely containable excitement. She tightened her arms around Benjamin's neck, pressing closer until he flushed crimson.

"I don't have her medical records here—she keeps those herself. But I do have copies of her test results on file. I can give you those."

"Perfect!"

Benjamin's body remained tense as he printed a copy of Yvette's test results and handed them to Violet.

A victorious smile spread across Violet's face as she planted a soft kiss on Benjamin's cheek. "Thank you, Dr. Moretti."

Benjamin watched her silently, his emotions conflicted. He knew he had compromised his professional ethics, but he had been powerless to refuse her request.

"You're such a good man!" Violet said with deliberate ambiguity. "Yvette will be grateful to you."

Yes, at least he was doing something good.
