Chapter 353 Violet Was Almost Driven Mad with Jealousy

The auction dinner ended, and Rodolfo was still socializing. Violet, using the excuse of needing rest for the baby in her belly, returned to the room first.

Back in the room, Violet's always straight back finally slumped heavily.

Images of Albert and Yvette as a perfect match kept flashing through her mind. Tonight, she once again saw the unwavering love in Albert's eyes, a love that was uniquely his for Yvette.

Recalling when they were still together, Albert was also domineering, but the way he looked at her was always more ambiguous than love.

Restraining himself for her, pampering her, protecting her, and showing his love, he never felt the need to keep her at all costs.

Back then, she left him arrogantly, thinking he would have such emotions, but he didn't even try to keep her and let her go.

Violet was almost driven mad with jealousy.

The room was knocked on, and Violet thought it was Rodolfo. She restrained the fierce expression on her face and put on a flattering smile.

But when she opened the door and saw the auction staff outside, her face immediately turned cold.

The staff, wearing gloves, came in to show her the emerald jewelry Rodolfo had won for her.

Each staff member was very careful, afraid of damaging such a valuable item.

Violet watched as the exquisite jewelry box was opened. The $95 million emerald jewelry, which she had forcibly taken from Yvette, had made her the center of attention at the event, but now she had no interest in it at all.

What good was it to have this set of emerald jewelry?

Albert, in the end, was still Yvette's.

The staff placed the jewelry box carefully, each movement steady.

One of the staff introduced, "Mrs. Morgan, we will now help you try on the jewelry. This set of emeralds..."

Before the staff could finish their introduction, Violet impatiently interrupted, "Put it on."

Her expression was cold, and the staff's faces changed slightly, but they didn't dare offend such a big client.

After all, not every wealthy lady would spend $95 million on a set of jewelry.

As the staff reached for the classic emerald bracelet, Violet angrily snapped, "Is it dirty? You're just going to touch it like that?"

The staff member was stunned, almost trembling. "Mrs. Morgan, we are all wearing professional gloves. Rest assured, it's clean and safe."

Violet's disdainful gaze swept over the staff. "Filthy."

Her words were sarcastic, and it was unclear if she was referring to the gloves or the people.

The staff's faces darkened, but they only dared to bow their heads and apologize, "Sorry, Mrs. Morgan, for not satisfying you..."

At that moment, the room door beeped a few times and was suddenly opened with a key card.

Violet realized it was Rodolfo returning and immediately changed her expression, putting on a kind smile.

She got up to greet him, "Rodolfo, you're back? Are you tired?"

Violet clung to Rodolfo's arm, clearly disgusted by the smell of smoke and alcohol mixed with the scent of old age on him, but she hid it well, pressing her body tightly against his arm.

Rodolfo chuckled a few times. "Yes, Violet, you have to help me relax later."

Violet's face stiffened slightly but she pretended to be shy. "Alright, let's talk about that later."

Rodolfo then noticed the row of staff in the room and frowned. "What's going on?"

Violet quickly waved to the staff, her attitude completely different from before. "Thank you all, I'll put on the jewelry myself. I'm very grateful you brought it. You've worked hard."

The staff quickly left the room, pulling each other along, leaving only Rodolfo and Violet.

Rodolfo was clearly a bit drunk, his steps unsteady.

He leaned towards Violet. "Violet..."

Violet subtly turned her head away, playfully pushing him. "Go take a shower first, or how can I help you relax?"

With Violet's promise, Rodolfo chuckled, squeezing her now more prominent breast due to pregnancy. "Alright, I'll go wash up first. Clean up, and you wait for me."

"Okay." Violet kissed his face, making a sound but barely touching his skin. "Go on."

Even this perfunctory kiss satisfied Rodolfo, and he went to the bathroom to shower.

Violet's smile vanished, her face turning cold as she turned to stare icily at the priceless jewelry, frowning.

The staff left Violet's room, sighing in unison, exchanging glances and rolling their eyes.

One staff member looked around, making sure no one was around, then sneered. "Her behavior is really disgusting."

"Exactly, a classic mistress's behavior, acting like an actress, looking down on us but flattering Mr. Morgan."

"Did you hear the gossip about her snatching this emerald jewelry today?"

"Of course, it spread from Luken long ago. Everyone knows she failed to come between Mr. Valdemar and Mrs. Valdemar, so she turned to Mr. Morgan."

"Mr. Valdemar's wife is beautiful and has a great personality, no wonder he didn't want her. She could only use her looks to find an old man and snatch some emerald jewelry."

"Mr. Valdemar and Mrs. Valdemar are a normal couple, close in age and well-matched. No wonder she's jealous."

"But did you see?" One staff member laughed. "I saw Mrs. Valdemar covered in hickeys earlier, their relationship must be great."

"Of course!" Another staff member laughed sarcastically. "I wonder if Mrs. Morgan, doing such things with an old man, has to take medicine?"

"Probably can't do without it, right?" the staff member clicked his tongue. "But it's normal, who else would marry such an old man? I heard he's older than her father."

As they whispered while waiting for the elevator, a cold laugh suddenly sounded behind them. It was like a chill from hell, sending a shiver down their spines as they sensed trouble. They turned to see Violet, arms crossed and face dark, staring at them.

Although Violet had long endured the world's ridicule and gossip, hearing these words from the staff still made her feel deeply insulted.

Their trembling appearance greatly pleased Violet.

She raised her chin, proud and strong. "You all."

They were too scared to move. "Mrs. Morgan..."

Violet's eyes were like icy blades, sharp and cold. "Kneel! Apologize!"
