Chapter 335 I'll Sue You for Bigamy

At this moment, the lock on the door of the house was suddenly opened.

Yvette turned her head and met Albert's gaze.

Yvette's face was as pale as paper, her eyes filled with uncontrollable fear. "How did you know about this place?"

This was clearly Cheryl's territory.

Albert signaled, and two servants brought BoBo and CiCi into the room.

Albert walked up to Yvette, tugged at the corner of his lips, and said meaningfully, "This is Luken. There's no place in Luken that I can't find. Spend a little more time, and it can always be found."

Yvette's eyes were red, and she asked incredulously, "Albert, why are you doing this? What do you mean, are you going to imprison us?"

Albert laughed. "You reminded me, I could do that. But I can't bear to. I just don't want you to run away again. As long as you behave, you are free."

"Outrageous!" Yvette said righteously, "I am David's wife! Will David let this go?"

Upon hearing this, Albert's expression became somewhat inscrutable. He walked up to Yvette and looked at her intently.

"Wife?" His thin lips parted slightly, smiling faintly. "David gave you an aphrodisiac because your relationship had deteriorated to the extreme, right?"

Yvette thought she had misheard. "What?"

Albert asked, "Would a normal husband give his wife an aphrodisiac?"

Albert had a knowing look on his face. Yvette was stunned for a moment but quickly realized she couldn't let Albert know about this, or she would never leave the Valdemar Family.

"This is..." Before Yvette could finish her rebuttal, Albert leaned in closer.

The distance between them was only a few inches. His breath brushed against her face, and her eyes involuntarily wandered to his lips.

His well-shaped, slightly red lips moved a few times, his lowered voice sounding like a murmur in bed.

Albert said, "It doesn't matter. He gave it, but it ultimately led to our good fortune."

Yvette knew he was talking about that night, the image of them intertwined flashed in her mind, and she was both ashamed and angry. "Albert! Do you have no shame?"

Seeing her face turn red, Albert found her extremely adorable at that moment. But he didn't dare to provoke her further, like a cat that had just extended its claws, cute but would scratch if approached further.

He glanced around the house with some disdain and called Vincent. "There are too many of David's things here, it's an eyesore."

Vincent wasn't sure what he meant and asked tentatively, "Do you want to clear them out?"

"No need." Albert raised his chin slightly, pointing at Yvette. "Pack up her and the children's things and move them to my place."

Yvette panicked for a moment. "What do you mean? Where are you taking us?"

Albert said, "This is Novaria. In Novaria, my wife is Yvette, so you will move back to my house, no problem."

She remarked, "I am clearly..."

"If you insist on saying you are David's wife," Albert interrupted Yvette, a faint smile on his lips, with Albert's characteristic arrogance. "I will charge you with bigamy."

Albert's calm voice hit Yvette like a bolt of lightning. Her back turned cold, ears buzzing, and all the blood in her body seemed to freeze.

Yvette's eyes were red, her lips frighteningly pale. "Why are you forcing me?"

Albert's smile faded slightly. "You are forcing me."

Before Albert finished speaking, Yvette made a fierce move, running to the table to grab the eyebrow knife she had placed there days ago. Though small, it could be lethal with enough force. Yvette gripped it tightly, aiming it at her wrist.

Her eyes radiated a piercing light, and she gritted her teeth in hatred. "Albert, I am no longer the Yvette I used to be. I am now a mother of two children. If you arrange for me to share a room with you, what will the children think? How will they see me? If you insist on forcing me this way, I can only end our relationship in my own way."

Seeing Yvette's dangerous move, Albert's usually calm expression finally cracked. Horror flashed in his eyes as his muscles tensed, and he stared unblinkingly at the distance between her wrist and the eyebrow knife.

Realizing she was only threatening him, Albert took a half step back, expressing his concession.

"Yvette, don't be impulsive." Albert raised his eyes, trying to calm her with his gaze. "If you don't want to move, that's fine, but I have conditions."

Albert paused, and when he confirmed Yvette was listening, he continued slowly, "You must follow my arrangements. I promise to take good care of you and the children, as long as you obey."

Biting her pale lower lip, Yvette's hand trembled as she held the eyebrow knife. Knowing she had nothing but her life to fight against Albert, she no longer trusted David, and the two children were in Albert's servants' hands.

The children had become hostages, and she had no choice but to endure.

Yvette stared into Albert's eyes and slowly said, "If anything happens to the children, I will never forgive you."

Albert promised, "I keep my word. Put the knife down."

As Yvette relaxed, Albert suddenly stepped forward, grabbed her wrist, and snatched the eyebrow knife from her hand, letting it fall to the ground with a crisp sound. Panicked, Yvette looked up, her eyes meeting Albert's intense gaze.

In Albert's deep, cold eyes, there was a layer of regained light. "Don't threaten me with your life! You know how much I care!"

Yvette laughed self-deprecatingly, pushing him away. "Leave, the children have been missing their daddy lately, seeing you might make them sad."

Albert said, "If you don't live well, these two children will fall into my hands."

"You..." said she.

Albert stared at her, his handsome brows slightly furrowed, but he didn't say anything more.

Because he knew that threatening with the children was not a long-term solution.

What he wanted was not just Yvette's body, but also her heart, her everything, the complete her.

Albert lowered his gaze. "Remember my words."

Albert turned and left. As he walked out the door, his aura turned cold, and his lips pressed into a cold, bloodthirsty line.

He took out his phone. "Have you found him?"

On the other end of the line, Vincent was slightly out of breath. "Yes. At his residence, we also found a bag of money, probably his hush money."

Albert said, "Take him to a safe place, I'll be there soon."

Albert's face was serious. He knew that using the children to threaten Yvette was not a long-term solution, so he had to completely sever her relationship with David.

Since Virgil was now in his hands, he would make the most of it.

Albert's thin lips parted slightly. "I want to know the real situation of David and Yvette's life in Stellaria."
