Chapter 415 She Is My Wife

Yvette asked, "Jessica is the one who hasn't left the Valdemar Group. Do you want me to continue being Jessica?"

Yvette successfully left Albert momentarily speechless.

Albert's patience was instantly exhausted, and his voice turned cold and hard. "Yvette, don't try to provoke me. You will always be Yvette, my wife."

Yvette knew that Albert was giving her an ultimatum.

She frowned, making a last-ditch effort. "But I haven't packed my luggage yet."

"I've had someone prepare it," Albert said. "Anything missing, we can buy it when we get to Eldoria."

After saying that, Albert hung up directly.

Yvette looked at her phone, feeling a bit frustrated for a moment.

But she knew in her heart that it was impossible to change Albert's decision in a short time.

Yvette took the children home and patiently explained that she had to go to work, but she didn't dare to tell them she was returning to Eldoria. To the children, Eldoria might still feel like home.

Albert leaned against the black luxury car, his tall figure perfectly matching it. A lit cigarette glowed between his fingers, smoke swirling lazily around him. He squinted slightly, looking through the smoke in the direction Yvette was coming from.

Seeing Yvette come down, Albert extinguished the cigarette and walked towards her.

Their gazes met, and Albert raised an eyebrow slightly.

He didn't expect her to come down so quickly.

Yvette saw the flash of surprise in his eyes, bypassed him, and directly opened the back door of the car, getting in.

Albert seemed to be in a good mood, didn't argue with her, and got in as well.

Albert said, "I thought you would delay until the flight took off and miss this business trip."

"There's no point," Yvette said casually, knowing his character well. "The final result would either be you dragging me onto the plane or locking me up at home."

Albert's eyes darkened slightly. "You know me well."

Sheb said, "I don't want to."

Albert sensed Yvette's resentment but didn't care. He tapped his fingers lightly, signaling the driver to step on the gas, and the car moved smoothly.

The flight with Luken Airlines was at ten o'clock. The crew was never short of new people. After a few years, Yvette didn't recognize many of them on this flight.

In the spacious airplane cabin, the flight attendants, dressed in neat uniforms, elegantly moved through the aisles, their steps light and orderly.

As soon as Yvette and Albert sat down, someone came over to ask about their needs.

Yvette looked up and met the smiling eyes of the flight attendant, but she felt a hint of strangeness from them.

"Ma'am, sir, this is Luken Airlines. If you need anything, please feel free to call us." The flight attendant nodded to Albert. "Mr. Valdemar, nice to see you again."

"Yep," Albert responded expressionlessly and then said nothing more.

The flight attendant's fawning expression was almost palpable, but her eyes couldn't hide the gossip. Her gaze lingered on Yvette for a moment before quickly shifting away.

Yvette frowned slightly in displeasure but didn't say anything.

Seeing that neither of them wanted to talk, the flight attendant turned and went back to her seat, pulling the curtain closed.

She frantically signaled to another flight attendant, mouthing the words, "Mr. Valdemar is here again today!"

Even though she was mouthing the words, her tone carried uncontrollable excitement.

"Really? It's my first time seeing him! I'll go take a look later!" The other flight attendant's eyes lit up with anticipation. She leaned closer to her colleague and whispered, "I heard that Mr. Valdemar used to be a captain for Luken Airlines? Is that true?"

"It seems to be true. I was unlucky; when I joined, he wasn't in the crew." The flight attendant clicked her tongue in regret. "If only I had been there at the time."

"What good would that do you! Mr. Valdemar supposedly has two women, right? One is a flight doctor, and the other is our first female pilot at Luken Airlines. How could you compete with them?"

"Who knows! He broke up with the female pilot and divorced the flight doctor, didn't he?"

"Still, you wouldn't stand a chance!" The other flight attendant said, "I heard that after he separated from his ex-wife, he never had another woman. He always traveled with a male assistant or alone, supposedly still pining for his ex-wife."

"That's what I wanted to tell you!" The flight attendant said excitedly, "It seems he's moved on from his heartbreak. He brought a woman today! This is an international flight; who knows what wonderful things might happen."

"What?" The other flight attendant immediately stood up. "Really? I have to see this!"

Several times, someone came over to "serve," and Albert was a bit annoyed.

It seemed he needed to talk to their superiors about not "bothering" the passengers.

Albert stood up and, as he passed by, heard two women talking behind the curtain.

Their voices were very low, but he could hear them clearly.

"I saw it! He really brought a woman! Oh my, I thought he was really as devoted to his ex-wife as the rumors said!"

"A man like him, how could he have only one woman? He probably had a hard time these past few years, and now that he's over it, he brought another woman on this long trip for convenience."

"But seriously, I thought he had good taste. Now it seems he still likes the same type."

"Taste? What do you mean?"

"I heard his ex-wife's family was very ordinary, not comparable to his at all. Look at the woman he brought today, she's pretty, but not very classy."

"Right? I think so too. She looks like she's from an ordinary family, probably like his ex-wife, an ordinary girl marrying into a wealthy family."

"Doesn't he have any psychological shadow from his ex-wife?"

The two were talking happily when they suddenly heard a light tapping on the wall outside the curtain.

They froze, looking outside warily. "Hello, do you need anything?"

"Open the curtain," Albert's cold voice came from outside.

The two stiffened, exchanged glances, and their faces instantly turned pale.

They opened the curtain. "Mr. Valdemar..."
