Chapter 645 Dad and Mom Are a Pair
Albert moved closer to her, his hand reaching up to gently tuck a strand of hair behind her ear. "But I want you so badly. I can't control myself when I see you."
He breathed softly against her ear.
The warm breath tickled her, making Yvette instinctively scrunch her neck. That breath carried his scent, leaving Yvette feeling conflicted. She wanted to pull away, yet part of her didn't want him to stop.
Albert seemed to sense her reaction, his breathing becoming even softer, more deliberate.
Yvette felt her heartbeat slow to match his rhythm, as if time itself had frozen. Her ear began to tingle, a strange sensation spreading through her body.
Albert's lips drew closer to her ear, as if he might kiss her there. Her heart raced, her breathing quickened.
Yvette couldn't believe Albert was being so shameless, actually using his charm to seduce her!
But she knew if this continued, her body wouldn't be able to take much more.
Yvette raised both arms between them, her voice trembling with a pleading tone. "Tomorrow, okay? Please?"
Albert paused, lifting his head slightly to look at her with those unfathomable dark eyes.
"You really don't want to?" he asked in a low voice.
"Yes," Yvette nodded firmly, without hesitation. "I want to sleep."
The pleading note in Yvette's voice made Albert, who had only been teasing her, suddenly change his expression.
He took a deep breath. He'd given his word, and he couldn't go back on it.
Albert pulled Yvette into his arms as the night breeze, carrying the faint salty scent of the ocean, drifted through the slightly open window.
Albert shifted his position, and Yvette immediately tensed up, protesting reluctantly. "Albert, you promised."
"I know." Albert held her tighter. "I'm not doing anything. Relax."
Their bodies pressed closely together, and even through their clothes, Yvette could feel the warmth radiating from his skin.
With his reassurance, Yvette relaxed slightly, her body softening against his.
After a while, Albert indeed made no further moves.
Morning sunlight filtered through the curtain gaps into the hotel room.
Yvette slowly opened her eyes to find the room quiet and empty. She rubbed her sleepy eyes and sat up in bed, hearing faint sounds from somewhere nearby.
Yvette listened carefully—the soft rustling seemed to be coming from outside the room.
She slowly got up, slipped on her robe, and walked to the door.
Opening it, she peeked out to see BoBo and CiCi sitting around a table with Albert, their faces bright with cheerful smiles.
Albert held his phone, pointing it toward BoBo and CiCi as the two children gestured animatedly at the camera, talking to someone on the other end.
Yvette quietly pushed the door open and walked toward them.
Seeing her approach, BoBo said to whoever was on the phone. "Great-grandma, Mommy's awake!"
After a good night's sleep in Albert's arms, Yvette felt much more refreshed.
She sat down at the table and greeted Cheryl. "Good morning, Grandma."
"Yvette, dear, did you sleep well?" Cheryl asked with concern. "Are you having a good time?"
"Very good." Yvette smiled. "I'll bring you back some gifts."
"Wonderful!" Cheryl beamed. "BoBo and CiCi were just showing me all the presents they've been picking out for me!"
"Yes, they've already bought several things."
Cheryl was delighted. "Yvette, you've raised these children so well."
Hearing Cheryl's heartfelt words, Yvette felt a warm glow in her chest.
Yvette opened her mouth to say more, but the phone was suddenly taken from in front of her.
Yvette looked at Albert in surprise. "What's wrong?"
Albert took Yvette's hand and spoke to Cheryl. "Now that she's awake, we need to head out. We'll talk more later."
He turned the phone back to the children. "BoBo, CiCi, time to go play with Mommy."
"Yay!" CiCi exclaimed excitedly. "Bye-bye, Great-grandma! We're going to play!"
"Goodbye, Great-grandma." BoBo politely said his farewell.
Cheryl still had more to say to Yvette, but with both children saying goodbye, she couldn't very well continue and had to hang up.
Seeing Cheryl's expression, Yvette felt a bit guilty. She glanced at Albert. "Grandma seemed like she had more to tell me."
"She'll have plenty of time to talk later." Albert squeezed her hand tighter. "Let's go."
"I need to pack our bags."
Albert gestured to the sofa beside them. "No need. Everything's ready."
Yvette turned to look and realized Albert had already prepared everything they and the children would need for their outing.
Yvette was a bit stunned and worried. "Let me grab some snacks and drinks for them, in case they don't like what's available where we're going."
"We don't need that, Mommy!" CiCi came over and grabbed Yvette's hand. "Daddy already got everything ready!"
"I checked already." BoBo said seriously. "Daddy packed really well."
