Chapter 366 Two Children Were Kidnapped

The night was dark as Yvette sat in the passenger seat, gazing out the window with the wind blowing in, messing up her hair. Having just woken up from fainting again, Yvette felt a whirlwind of emotions.

In her panic, she insisted on coming back. She thought Albert would refuse, but without hesitation, he got up from the bed and decided to take her home.

The trees outside the window flew by rapidly, and Yvette raised her hand to cover her swollen, painful eyes.

Her BoBo and CiCi must be safe!

Inside the car, apart from the suffocating silence, there was only Yvette's rapid breathing.

Suddenly, Yvette's hoarse voice, tinged with sobs, broke the silence. "Who could have done this?"

Yvette's voice was filled with such pain that it made Albert's heart ache.

Albert pursed his lips. "Since Beatrice's family was captured and threatened, it must be someone who ordered BoBo and CiCi to be taken away."

"I know, I'm asking who did it!" Yvette's emotions were intense, and tears fell uncontrollably. "Who would kidnap them? Why target the children?"

Albert answered, "We don't have any concrete information yet. We can only wait for Vincent to investigate."

Taking a deep breath, Yvette knew that impulsiveness and pain wouldn't change the situation. Running her fingers through her hair, she pulled hard, the sharp pain from her scalp helping her stay a bit more clear-headed.

She forced herself to calm down, trying to guess the answer.

"If it's aimed at me, the range is small. The hatred must be strong enough to kidnap children." Yvette slowly uttered a name, "Violet."

But soon, Yvette denied herself, "But she's pregnant now, and Mr. Morgan must have people watching her at all times. She wouldn't dare to make such a big move. It can't be her."

Yvette's words gave Albert a small sense of relief, indicating she had started to calm down and think rationally.

Albert's thin lips parted slightly. "It can't be the Valdemar Family either."

"Right." Yvette's eyes darkened. "Even if Grandma is dissatisfied with me, she wouldn't take the children away by targeting Beatrice. As for your father... the children are useful to him. He wouldn't harm them. I have no value to him now, so he wouldn't use the children to gain any benefit from me. So it can't be him either."

After thinking about everyone who could pose a threat to the children, Yvette still couldn't guess who did it.

The more she thought about it, the more desperate she felt. A gust of wind scattered the tears on her face, leaving her eyes vacant and her mind momentarily lost.

Ten minutes later, Albert's phone vibrated with a call from Vincent. Yvette's pupils contracted as she instantly grabbed the phone, answered it, and put it on speaker.

"Mr. Valdemar, it's Tyrell Baldwin!" Vincent was panting heavily, as if he had been running.

Yvette had never heard this name before. She looked at Albert in confusion. "Who is it?"

Vincent explained, "He's a business rival of the Valdemar Family."

He paused and added a vague statement, "The Baldwin family was also involved when you were kidnapped before."

Before Yvette could process this, another call came in from an unfamiliar local number in Luken. Albert's eyes instantly turned cold. He hung up on Vincent and answered the new call.

As soon as the call connected, a man's arrogant laughter came through. "Albert, it's been four years. How have you been?"

Yvette was startled by the man's voice, her face turning even paler.

Albert's aura suddenly turned icy, and he said in a deep voice, "Tyrell, you're out of prison?"

Tyrell suddenly became furious. "You have the nerve to ask? Do you not want your children anymore?"

Hearing the word "children," Yvette almost broke down. "Why did you kidnap my children? They are innocent! If you have a grudge against Albert in business, you should target him, not kidnap my child!"

On the other end of the line, Tyrell seemed taken aback. After a moment, he let out a cold laugh. "Interesting! Yvette? Are you desperate? I went bankrupt and ended up in prison because of you, and you two are living well!"

"Because of me?" Yvette choked, holding tightly onto Albert's hand to control her fear. "What do you mean?"

"Because of you!" Tyrell's anger almost burned through the phone. "When I kidnapped Violet, I accidentally kidnapped you too. Albert, to avenge you, destroyed our Baldwin family and sent me to prison. If the Swift Family hadn't latched onto Rodolfo, they would have been finished too! I got out of prison to face a mountain of debt! I can't live, and you won't have it easy either!"

Yvette was stunned, not expecting that Albert had destroyed two prominent families in Luken to avenge her.

Tyrell roared, "Not only that, but all the families and companies associated with us were warned. We have no way out, no chance of recovery!"

Albert's ruthless decisiveness shocked Yvette.

She had always thought Albert was a person who kept business and personal matters separate, but he had been so ruthless because of the kidnapping.

Yvette's voice trembled. "You hate Albert, so why use kidnapping children to vent your anger? Why not directly retaliate against him?"

Tyrell sneered. "Losing his wife and children again, after regaining them, isn't that the best revenge for him?"

Yvette then realized that Tyrell kidnapped the children not to retaliate against her but because he thought the children were Albert's and wanted to retaliate against Albert!

In a moment of urgency, Yvette gritted her teeth, forcing herself to calm down.

She took a deep breath and pretended to be indifferent. "Then you might be disappointed, Tyrell. You kidnapped the wrong people again."

Tyrell asked, "What do you mean? Don't try to fool me!"

"Last time you wanted to kidnap Violet but ended up kidnapping me. This time, you want to retaliate against Albert but kidnapped my children." Yvette sneered. "Don't you think you're being foolish and ridiculous?"

Tyrell was confused. "What?"

Yvette said, "My children are David's. Albert couldn't accept these two children in the first place. By taking them away, aren't you just removing a burden for him?"

"Nonsense!" Tyrell cursed, "Do you think I'm an idiot? His invitation said he found his wife and children, so they must be his children!"
