Chapter 479 Mommy Said the Tie Is for Daddy!

Rebecca, with her sophisticated air, looked completely out of place as she walked through the dark, run-down alley.

A group of drunks stumbled past her, casting curious glances her way, but none dared to approach.

Rebecca felt a twinge of discomfort and shot them a sharp glare.

Seeing the burly men surrounding her, the drunks quickly scurried away.

Rebecca felt a twisted sense of satisfaction at the thought of Violet being tormented by those disgusting men.

One of her henchmen spoke up from behind her, "Ms. Morgan, should we... take care of her?"

Rebecca paused, raising her left hand slightly.

A wicked smile curled on her lips, "Let her live. Let her suffer more than death."

When Violet had slept with Rodolfo, she was still a virgin. It was something she had been proud of for a long time, and it was one of the main reasons Rodolfo adored her.

But now, Violet had lost not only her ability to have children but also her purity.

Rebecca wondered what kind of trouble Violet could possibly stir up now.

Rebecca walked away, leaving behind a trail of laughter that echoed through the dark alley...

Violet lay on the ground, her eyes vacant but her mind painfully clear.

She knew the horrors that had befallen her.

People kept coming and going from the hotel. Violet tried to move, to leave, but the pain from her lower body made it impossible to get up.

Her clothes were in tatters, and the ragged piece of white cloth she had couldn't cover her enough to leave.

Violet reached for her phone, wanting to ask Albert why he hadn't answered her calls, why he hadn't come to save her, even out of past affection.

But the people here were so poor that after tormenting her, they had even taken her phone.

There had been so many of them, she couldn't remember their faces. Even if they stood before her again, she wouldn't recognize them.

She had lost everything because of Yvette!

If it weren't for Yvette, she would have married Albert long ago, living happily and having children together, loving each other for a lifetime!

Violet lay in the icy water mixed with blood and bodily fluids, her teeth chattering.

She couldn't die. She had to live, to see Yvette truly dead, truly in hell!

In the living room, CiCi yawned.

BoBo suddenly stopped, his small hand holding the book's page, looking up at her, "Are you sleepy?"

CiCi nodded, "Yeah, I'm sleepy, BoBo."

"But I still want to finish this book." BoBo read from the picture book, "Daddy is wearing the tie Mommy bought, looking very handsome."

CiCi looked up at Albert, "Daddy, why don't you wear the tie Mommy gave you? She said she picked it out for a long time. I think you'd look very handsome in it!"

Albert, who had been sitting beside them, was taken aback, "What? What tie?"

BoBo furrowed his brow, explaining, "The dark gray tie Mommy bought."

Albert's brow furrowed slightly, a realization dawning on him, his expression turning to shock, his pupils dilating as he looked at BoBo and CiCi in disbelief.

"She bought it for me?"

"Yeah!" CiCi said earnestly, "Mommy got clothes and toys for BoBo and me, and a tie for you."

Albert's confusion, dissatisfaction, and jealousy now turned into reflection and regret.

"She said it was for me?"

"Yes!" CiCi insisted, "Mommy said the tie was for Daddy!"

"I misunderstood her..." Albert took a deep breath, feeling a pang of pain with each breath, "She bought it for me."

He murmured to himself, "But why didn't she give it to me?"

"Why don't you ask Mommy if she forgot to give it to you?" CiCi's expression turned a bit sad, as if she wanted to ask something but held back. She yawned, "Daddy, I'm really sleepy."

"Let's go to bed." BoBo closed the picture book, taking CiCi's hand and leading her to the bedroom.

Albert watched the two well-behaved children, his eyes reddening.

Violet found an old coat in a trash can, barely enough to cover herself.

Her hair was disheveled, her clothes in disarray, looking utterly exhausted. She forced herself to endure the humiliation and pain, returning home.

Violet took a long, hot shower, scrubbing until her skin was red and sore, unwilling to stop.

It wasn't until Thaddeus and Elowen banged on the door that she turned off the water, exhausted.

As soon as Violet stepped out, Thaddeus rushed at her, raising his hand to strike.

Elowen quickly intervened, "What are you doing? Talk it out!"

"Violet, what have you done?" Thaddeus's face was red with anger, "You've disgraced us all!"

Violet didn't want to argue, "I'm tired. I'm going to bed."

"Bed? How can you sleep?"

Thaddeus, furious, grabbed Violet's wrist to drag her away.

Violet's wrist, still sore from being tied with a belt, made her wince in pain. She yanked her hand away, "It hurts!"

Thaddeus and Elowen then noticed Violet's body was covered in bruises, her face swollen and red.

The two elderly parents nearly fainted.

Thaddeus handed Violet a phone, tears streaming down his face, "Violet, what happened?"

Violet looked at the trending news on the phone, understanding her parents' agitation.

The news was filled with explicit photos and videos of her, the headlines glaring, the content vile. These stories were spreading widely on social media and being reported by major news outlets.

In just one night, the news of her with a group of men had spread worldwide.

Violet had thought last night was the darkest moment of her life, but now, she felt despair all over again.

Would Albert see this? Would he know what she went through when he ignored her calls?

Would he feel guilty? Would he want to make it up to her? Would he come to find her, to see her?

Violet looked at her devastated parents, silently turned, and went back to her room.

She picked up the house phone, trying to call Albert, but the call was cut off again.

Violet felt a deep sense of hopelessness, closing her eyes in despair.

The news spread like wildfire. Could it be... Albert's doing?
