Chapter 347 What if BoBo and CiCi were your children?

Returning to the room after everything was settled, Albert found the lights off, with only a dim night light on as Yvette waited for him. Seeing her figure curled up in the blanket, he approached quietly, careful not to disturb her.

Albert took his change of clothes and went to the bathroom, not noticing Yvette slowly opening her eyes behind him.

Hearing the sound of the shower in the bathroom, Yvette slowly sat up from the bed.

From his arrangements, she knew that some things were unavoidable. If she showed resistance, it would only put her and the children in an unsafe situation.

She picked up the bag on the bedside table and found the prepared birth control pills.

Since deciding to rely on him, she had been taking the pills.

In this situation, she couldn't stop Albert from doing what he wanted, but she absolutely couldn't afford to get pregnant. If she did, her plans would be ruined, and her children would be in danger if they couldn't leave.

The sound of water in the bathroom suddenly stopped, and Yvette quickly lay back down.

The next moment, footsteps approached as Albert walked out in a bathrobe. He got on the bed and moved straight towards Yvette. Just as before, he was direct and forceful in their intimacy, not giving her a chance to think. Before she could react, he had already pulled her into his arms.

She held her breath in tension.

In the darkness, his moist lips were about to press against her forehead. The warmth of his breath made her body stiffen, causing her long eyelashes to flutter. Albert immediately noticed this.

He chuckled softly. "Pretending to sleep?"

Yvette's eyelashes fluttered even more violently, and under his burning gaze, she could only open her eyes.

Albert raised an eyebrow. "Why pretend to sleep?"

"Not really," Yvette said softly. "I was asleep and just woke up because of you."

Albert didn't give her a chance to argue. "I thought you were avoiding your duties as a wife."

Yvette bit her lip and said nothing.

"Did I hit the mark?" Albert's expression instantly turned cold. "Is it because of David?"

Yvette denied, "I didn't."

Seeing that her eyes didn't flicker, Albert knew she wasn't lying, and his mood improved again. He turned over and pressed on her, his gaze burning. "Since you're awake, don't waste this night."

Yvette closed her eyes and turned her head slightly, but didn't refute his words.

Albert lowered his head toward her long neck, which had turned red because of him. The blush gradually spread, making her face and earlobes red and hot.

A hint of surprise flashed in his deep eyes, then turned into a faint smile.

Since she said she needed his protection, she had really shown a willingness to accept him.

Her change in attitude made Albert very happy. Since she agreed, he couldn't let her down.

Albert's large hand wrapped around Yvette's slender and soft waist, and he planted a kiss on her lips.

Albert's voice was hoarse, with a different kind of temptation. "Yvette, just wait a little longer."

Yvette's entire chest was invaded by his breath, and she asked in a daze, "What?"

"Just wait a little longer." Albert brushed away the hair on her forehead. "In a few days, the whole world will know that my wife is back. Once you regain your status, who would dare to say anything!"

Albert's expectation in his words made Yvette a little dazed.

She lowered her eyes, showing a submissive look. "Okay."

The room grew hotter, engulfing Yvette in waves of heat. She gradually succumbed to his touch, but her thoughts remained focused. Yvette knew the banquet Albert mentioned could protect her temporarily but would also trap her.

Once everyone knew she was back with two children, she would be bound to Albert and the Valdemar Family forever, unable to escape. The family wouldn't tolerate her being torn between Albert and David, regardless of her true feelings. With little time left, she knew she had to leave quickly.

Perhaps Yvette's distraction made Albert dissatisfied.

Albert frowned. "What are you thinking about?"

As he spoke, he lightly bit her tongue.

Yvette suddenly came back to her senses, and the pain made her hum softly. She turned her head but couldn't escape his kiss.

"Being distracted at this time makes me unhappy." Albert increased his strength, proving himself.

Yvette finally stopped thinking about other things and passively endured.

After an unknown amount of time, Albert finally stopped.

Yvette lay on the bed, as if she had just been fished out of the water, lying limp on the bed, too tired to even open her eyes.

Albert held her to clean up, almost making love to her again, but he restrained himself.

He wrapped Yvette in a large bath towel, carried her back to the bed, and went to take a cold shower himself.

Albert's cool skin brushed against Yvette as he pulled her into his arms, his breath enveloping her. Instinctively, she shrank from his touch. After nearly four years, he was still obsessed with her body. She hadn't expected to survive like this and couldn't help but mock herself.

Tonight, Albert was unusually gentle, showing only patience and kindness. It was as if Yvette were a lost treasure, and he was deep and focused. She knew it wasn't love, but rather that her compliance satisfied his desire for conquest. If she ever defied him or made him unhappy, he would hurt her.

The image of her two children's happy faces flashed in her mind, causing Yvette deep pain. She was now willing to walk on thin ice just to keep them safe and healthy by her side. Her children were her life.

Yvette took a deep breath.

His strong arms tightened slightly, holding Yvette closer.

He caressed her face and said gently, "Give me a child."

Yvette was shocked. "What?"

He patiently repeated, "I said, give me a child."

Yvette instinctively wanted to refuse, but she also understood her current situation. After some consideration, she asked with a forced smile, "Why say this all of a sudden?"

"BoBo and CiCi are very cute, always reminding me of a few years ago," Albert said. "If our child had been born, they would probably be this age now."

A hint of regret flashed in Albert's eyes. "I want our child back."

Yvette was touched by his gaze, and in a moment of heat, she suddenly said, "What if BoBo and CiCi are your children?"
