Chapter 413 How Can You Be So Rude? Lock Me Up Again
But before he could finish, Albert had already pulled Yvette into his arms.
Without a word, Albert wrapped his arm around Yvette's waist, lifted her, and turned to leave.
His movements were swift and decisive, without any hesitation or delay.
The sudden feeling of weightlessness made Yvette's heart tighten.
"What are you doing?" Yvette scolded discontentedly, "Let go of me!"
Albert turned a deaf ear and carried her straight home.
David stepped forward to stop him. "Are you always going to force her?"
Albert sneered. "My wife didn't come home all night and was harassed by another man. I'm taking her home, what's the problem? But you, David, are you sure you want to entangle with a married woman?"
David paused.
Taking advantage of David's moment of distraction, Albert carried Yvette and strode home.
Along the way, Yvette didn't resist pointlessly anymore.
Albert's words were like sharp thorns piercing her heart.
In his eyes, as a married woman, she didn't come home all night and was with David.
His words weren't harsh, but they could lead to countless harsh interpretations.
Albert threw Yvette onto the sofa, leaned over, and pinned her down on the sofa.
He lowered his voice, speaking angrily, "You still know to come back?"
Yvette looked up and met Albert's gaze. "My children are still here. If I don't come back, where else can I go?"
"What kind of magic does David have that attracts you to him again and again?" Albert's voice grew colder. "Last time you went to him because of the children. What about this time? The children are at home, so why did you go to see him again?"
Yvette raised her hand to push him away and explained coldly, "I ran into Sylvia yesterday and accidentally got drunk at her place, so I didn't come back."
Albert asked, "Then how do you explain David?"
"Believe it or not," Yvette swallowed. "I ran into him on my way back."
Albert sneered, grabbed Yvette's wrists that were blocking his chest, and pinned her hands against the back of the sofa. "Do you really take me for a fool, Yvette?"
Yvette tugged at the corners of her mouth, revealing a self-deprecating smile. "Since you don't believe me, why bother asking?"
Yvette turned her head. "I want to see my children now, please move."
Hearing this, a hint of near-madness flashed in Albert's eyes. "Yvette, you are my wife. I have already taken those two children you gave birth to as my own, yet you still want to entangle with David?"
Albert's eyes were tinged with angry red. "I'm telling you, as long as I'm here, you can forget about having anything with David. From now on, you won't have the chance to shake off the bodyguards."
Yvette glared at him. "I told you I wasn't with David last night. What do you mean by entangling? What do you mean I want to have something with him? How can you say such things?"
Albert shouted, "Because I'm your husband."
"Husband?" Yvette seemed to hear the most ridiculous thing, she snorted coldly and mocked, "I have a husband who, no matter what happens, will choose another woman. Albert, my heart died the day you chose Violet. To me, you are no longer my husband."
"Yvette!" yelled Albert.
Albert's brows furrowed tightly, like a black storm about to break. His eyes became deep and sharp, like cold stars in a winter night, shining with a hard light.
That light seemed to pierce Yvette's skin, making her face look extremely terrifying.
Yvette asked, "Since you chose Violet, why not keep her by your side? I'm already someone you've abandoned, can't you just let me go?"
Yvette's words of sarcasm and contempt made Albert's heart ache suddenly. His face turned ashen, and his eyes flashed with disbelief. He clenched his fists, his fingertips turning white from the force.
Her cold eyes, at this moment, looked at Albert without a trace of warmth. It was as if, in her eyes, he had long been just another person, not the man she had once loved passionately, who could stir her emotions.
Albert felt a sudden panic in his heart, and his remaining rationality was finally exhausted.
He reached out and grabbed Yvette's delicate chin, the veins on the back of his hand bulging with anger.
Before Yvette could react, Albert's thin lips were already on hers. His lips, cold, pressed against her soft ones.
Yvette didn't expect Albert to kiss her, her back tensed, and a surge of anger followed.
He always did things to hurt her, yet he could still stand high and criticize her.
She had already explained that she was with Sylvia last night, but he didn't believe it at all, still thinking she was wavering between him and David.
This Albert made her extremely disappointed.
Yvette pushed Albert hard, but he remained steady, not moving an inch.
She pounded on Albert's chest, but his solid chest didn't retreat; instead, it pressed forward.
Feeling the pain in her hands, Yvette finally eased her strength.
When Yvette couldn't push him away, she gritted her teeth and bit down hard. Albert, lost in the kiss, was caught off guard and felt the pain. She dared to bite him?
Albert's eyes turned cold, but he didn't let go of Yvette; instead, he kissed her more forcefully, taking in her taste.
Yvette always managed to stir up the desires and temper he had buried deep inside. No matter how much it hurt, he didn't want to let her go.
The taste of Albert's blood filled their mouths, the metallic tang spreading.
Albert, venting his anger, held Yvette's waist with his large hand, preventing her from escaping. He lightly bit Yvette's lower lip, swallowing all her resistance.
This long kiss made both of their breaths chaotic.
Albert kissed her more deeply until the metallic taste was mixed with a faint hint of salt, which diluted the blood and made him pause. He opened his eyes and saw shallow tear marks under Yvette's downcast eyes.
She was crying?
A hint of guilt flashed in Albert's eyes.
He didn't continue kissing her, just rested his head by her ear, his voice hoarse. "Yvette, don't meet with David again."
Yvette said nothing.
In the silence, Albert stood up, looking down at Yvette's falling tears.
Feeling her resistance, Albert's eyes turned cold again, and he warned her, "If you meet again, I won't be nice."
Yvette looked up, licking her bitten lower lip, the sting making her feel humiliated. "How? Lock me up again?"
Albert's sinister eyes took on a murderous look.
He tugged at the corners of his mouth. "Your suggestion is not bad."
Yvette angrily said, "You dare!"
Albert said, "You can try."
