Chapter 416 That Mrs. Valdemar, Let's Do Something Not Boring
Albert's eyes were cold as he glanced at the two. "Discussing passengers' privacy is not allowed on Luken Airlines. Don't you know that?"
"Mr. Valdemar! Sorry, Mr. Valdemar!" The two panicked instantly. "We... we were just curious... really sorry!"
"Curious?" Albert sneered. "Then let me tell you, I don't have an ex-wife. The woman is my wife."
Albert's gaze was sharp, filled with a chilling coldness.
The two flight attendants were pale, their lips tightly shut, not daring to look at Albert.
They looked terrified, bowing their heads and repeatedly apologizing.
"Sorry, Mr. Valdemar, we really shouldn't have gossiped about you and Mrs. Valdemar behind your back!"
"We're sorry, Mr. Valdemar. We won't say such things again!"
"We know we were wrong, we promise we won't do it again."
"Please forgive us, Mr. Valdemar! We are truly sorry."
The two of them spoke one after another, trying their best to fill their voices with sincere apology and remorse.
But Albert just looked at them coldly, without saying a word.
His gaze swept over their name tags, and that sharp look made the two of them feel deep fear.
At this moment, it was too late to try to cover their names.
When they spoke again, their voices were already trembling slightly, "Mr. Valdemar..."
Albert didn't say anything more; he just noted their names and employee numbers before turning away amidst their pleas. Then he returned to his seat and closed his eyes to rest.
By the time the plane landed, it was already early the next morning.
The Eldoria branch had arranged for a driver and manager to pick them up, and they were already waiting at the arrival area with a welcome sign.
Seeing the two of them come out, the driver and manager Fiona immediately greeted them warmly. "Good morning! Welcome to Eldoria!"
The driver nodded politely, opening the car door, and the Audi parked nearby gleamed with a deep black sheen.
When Yvette emerged from behind Albert's tall figure, Fiona was visibly stunned.
She suppressed her surprised expression, maintaining a polite smile, but the curiosity in her eyes was unmistakable.
She quickly thought it over in her mind, then smiled slightly, hiding all possible doubts.
"It must have been a long journey!" Fiona smiled and said, "I know you and Mr. David Valdemar are twins, but I didn't expect it to be so hard to tell you apart. If I didn't know it was you coming, I would have thought he had returned."
As Fiona spoke, she pretended nothing had happened, glancing at Yvette several times, but didn't dare to look too much or ask more questions.
Hearing David's name, a flash of displeasure crossed Albert's face, but he quickly composed himself. He curled his lips, remaining silent, and Fiona wisely didn't press further, leading them to the car.
As the car sped along the airport road, the driver exchanged a glance with Fiona in the passenger seat.
Fiona could no longer contain her curiosity, observing Yvette in the back seat through the rearview mirror.
Yvette looked tired but maintained an elegant posture, puzzling Fiona even more. Her hands were tightly clenched on her lap, and she had already noticed the looks from the driver and Fiona.
When Yvette was still Jessica, she was already somewhat famous in the Eldoria branch.
On one hand, she had become a project manager in just a few years. On the other hand, Jessica was David's wife.
Although she didn't have much contact with Fiona and the driver, in a company where there weren't many familiar people, Yvette's cold and stunning face was easily recognizable.
Yvette's lips pressed together, tinged with bitterness, as she turned her gaze to the scenery outside the window.
Having not slept well on the plane, Yvette went straight to the bathroom for a shower as soon as she got to the hotel room, planning to rest for a while.
But as soon as she opened the bathroom door, Albert grabbed her wrist and pinned her against the wall.
Startled, Yvette looked up into Albert's deep eyes. "You..."
Before Yvette could react, Albert's lips were already pressing down.
He had a faint scent of body wash and shampoo, indicating he had showered in the bathroom outside.
Albert's kiss was extremely domineering, as if he wanted to imprint his presence deep into her chest, filling her heart.
Yvette could feel the punishment in Albert's kiss.
The wound Albert had bitten on her lip yesterday morning had not yet healed, and now he was sucking on it forcefully. Along with the slight pain, Yvette once again tasted the metallic tang of blood between their lips and tongues.
Yvette winced in pain, turning her head to avoid his kiss.
Albert's lips didn't press down again, but his narrowed eyes radiated a dangerous glint.
He raised his hand, gently rubbing her bleeding lips. "After regaining Yvette's memories and returning to Eldoria, how do you feel?"
Yvette looked at him with dissatisfaction. "Albert, do you really want to see me embarrassed?"
Albert sneered disdainfully, speaking nonchalantly, "Yes, I want everyone to know that you are not some Jessica. You are Yvette, my wife."
"Ridiculous!" Yvette's lips tightened, her eyes slightly red as she glared at him angrily.
Those beautiful eyes, whether from anger or the recent kiss, were now glistening with tears.
Looking down, her lips were now particularly red, stained with blood, and still wet, looking especially glossy.
Albert, being stared at like that, felt an inexplicable itch in his heart.
The more defiant she was in front of him, the more he wanted to make her submit to him.
Albert wanted to give her freedom, but every time he loosened his grip a little, she would try to fly away like a bird out of a cage, wanting to escape from him completely.
What angered him the most was that the destination she risked being caught by him again and again to escape to was David's side.
He couldn't accept that.
Rather than constantly pulling and hurting each other, it would be better...
Albert's jaw tightened slightly as he suppressed his inner tyranny. He still hoped she would love him. Keeping her locked up, leaving only a shell by his side, was meaningless.
Though he didn't plan to imprison her, he still needed to vent his dissatisfaction. Curling his lips, he pinched her chin, forcing her to look at him.
Albert's thumb gently caressed, feeling the smooth skin under his finger, his waist tingling.
He was always defenseless against her.
"Ridiculous?" Albert chuckled softly, his deep, hoarse voice carrying a hint of seduction. "Then Mrs. Valdemar, shall we do something not so ridiculous?"
Yvette could almost guess what he wanted to do, her body stiffened, and she asked knowingly, "What do you want to do?"
Albert wrapped his arm around Yvette's waist. "What do you think?"
