Chapter 104 Don't Kiss Me with a Mouth That's Kissed Someone Else
Jonathan told Luke that if he was worried about losing Elsa, he needed to treat her better than anyone else. It seemed Luke still had a long way to go.
Luke watched Elsa and Jonathan's closeness and drove home in silence.
By the time Elsa got home, Luke had already smoked two packs of cigarettes. His voice was hoarse when he spoke.
"You reek of smoke. Go take a shower." Elsa's body stiffened, but she pushed Luke towards the bathroom as if nothing had happened.
"I'm not showering. Elsa, listen to me." Luke's emotions were all over the place. He held onto Elsa and wouldn't let go.
"No need to explain. Do whatever you want from now on." Elsa had made up her mind after thinking about it the entire night. "Just don't kiss me with a mouth that's kissed someone else. It disgusts me."
Elsa tried to stay calm as she spoke.
"Luke, this marriage has always been in my favor, and I know that. But I can't bear to share you with someone else." Elsa took a deep breath and pushed Luke away with all her strength.
"I won't ask for a divorce easily. Since you were the one who made the mistake, the decision to divorce or not is mine. Even if you want to leave me for Margaret, it depends on whether I sign the papers. But from now on, I'll sleep in the guest room and won't have any intimate relations with you."
When Elsa was studying abroad, she had heard many bizarre stories about wealthy international students. For example, Jonny's father had two wives who knew about each other and they all lived under the same roof for nearly ten years.
Elsa never judged such women because she believed this was their choice. But when it came to her, she couldn't accept it.
Luke was upset that she wouldn't even give him a chance to explain and just assumed he had cheated. Was that what she thought of him?
Luke felt like his lungs were about to explode with anger.
"Elsa, there's no such thing! I didn't kiss anyone else. The news is fake!" Luke angrily punched the wall beside him, raising his voice.
"Fine, whatever you say. I'm just a woman who got to marry you because of my looks. What right do I have to control you!"
Elsa didn't realize that the emotions she was trying so hard to suppress had leaked out, and her voice was filled with grievance.
Elsa struggled desperately to escape from Luke's embrace. But Luke held her tightly and softened his voice to explain patiently, "She got drunk and tried to commit suicide, so I went to stop her and took her to the hospital. What you saw was a trick shot taken by paparazzi. We're already investigating it!"
"Luke, you don't need to explain to me. I don't care!" In the moment of emotional outburst, Elsa couldn't listen to anything.
"Elsa, we've known each other for so long. Do you think I'm the kind of person who would do something and not own up to it?" Luke felt like he was going crazy. His jealousy was no less than Elsa's, but he had to be patient and calm her down first. Elsa was always stubborn and single-minded. What could he say to make her believe him?
When Elsa came home, she still had the intention to negotiate with Luke peacefully, but now she couldn't control her jealousy. She had promised not to get emotionally involved, but she was in too much pain.
"I don't care what kind of person you are, just don't kiss me with a mouth that's kissed someone else. You..."
The rest of her words were silenced by Luke's kiss. He held Elsa tightly, his lips claiming hers with a fervor that took her breath away.
