Chapter 284 Leo Gets Jealous

After a dozen minutes, Elsa finally returned from the restroom.

"Sorry everyone, I went to the wrong floor. I'll punish myself with a drink."

She raised her glass with a calm expression and smiled at everyone.

The crowd didn't know what had happened, but with Elsa's straightforward personality, they all accepted it.

"Ms. Miller, I thought you got scared off by us."

"Ms. Miller, a toast to you."

The atmosphere heated up again. Someone made a harmless joke, and everyone laughed. Elsa also laughed heartily with her glass raised.

She turned to look at Leo, who was the only one not laughing, his face back to its usual gloomy and cold expression. Elsa then remembered that he remained silent since she returned to the room.

Elsa thought, 'Leo must be upset that I have gone for so long.' Recalling Luke's behavior in the restroom, her ears burned.

When Luke came out of the restroom, he didn't look much better.

His chin down to his neck and collarbone had two long scratch marks, courtesy of Elsa. She was so annoyed by his bullying that she had to draw blood.

He carried the scent of Elsa's perfume. When he looked in the mirror, he saw a bit of her lipstick and wine stains on his lips.

She actually became Leo's assistant. What a twist of fate.

He thought, 'Could it be because Elsa knows about my grudge with Leo? No, Elsa isn't that kind of person.'

Luke nonchalantly wiped his lips before returning to his own private room.

Everyone at his table was waiting respectfully, not daring to touch the food.

"Mr. Taylor, how did you get hurt on your chin?" someone with sharp eyes noticed Luke's injury.

"It's fine. I just got scratched by a cat." Luke loosened his tie and sat down calmly, recalling Elsa's fierce resistance, feeling a tickle in his heart.

After she stopped tempting him with every nerve on edge, he found it quite interesting to take the initiative himself.

Max saw Luke return without any anger on his face and already knew what had happened. But why did Luke only take a dozen minutes?

He glanced at Luke, thinking it shouldn't be that quick.

Elsa held on until the banquet ended, having drunk a lot and feeling her eyelids drooping with sleepiness.

Leo drove her home, but he remained silent and sullen the entire way.

Elsa had already drunk a lot before going to the restroom. And then being pressed and kissed by Luke in the stall, with the constant fear of someone walking in, had sobered her up.

When she returned to the private room, she felt a bit guilty and flustered, and the two drinks she had afterward were completely unplanned.

She was very drunk and couldn't care about Leo's expression, feeling nauseous in the passenger seat.

"Pull over. I'll walk back," Elsa said when they were near her apartment.

She didn't remember telling Leo her address. It was strange that Leo knew her address.

Leo said nothing, speeding all the way to her building. Elsa tried her best to not to throw up in his car.

She was now $57 million in debt. If she threw up in Leo's car and he extorted her, it would be too costly.

"Thanks." After getting out of the car, Elsa found a trash can and threw up.

Leo stood coldly to the side, not offering any help.

After vomiting, Elsa felt a bit better and adopted a professional demeanor. "Mr. Adams, thank you for driving me home. Take it easy on the way back. Remember I had five drinks tonight."

She hiccuped and waved a hand in front of Leo. "Fifty thousand dollars."

In the night, Leo's expression was unclear, his eyes emitting a cold light. "Go home and wash up. You reek of that scent. Elsa, you're really cheap and slutty, hooking up with someone even during a restroom break."

Elsa was nailed to the spot by his words, her face instantly turning pale.
