Chapter 113 Dylan Jones

At the Jones family banquet, Jonny's dad, Dylan, stood at the door in traditional attire, a string of bracelets in hand, personally greeting the guests.

Dylan, a tall 50-year-old, looked younger and more vigorous than most his age, thanks to his wealth. But years of indulging in booze and women had left him looking greasier than his peers.

In Jonny's words, Dylan was a simple man. Besides making money, his only hobby was hopping from bed to bed with beautiful women, stuffing cash into their thongs, and having wild sex.

Whether the women loved him or his money, Dylan didn't care. Whether they had brains, he didn't care either.

Dylan conquered women by quantity, not quality.

David had dealt with Dylan for a while and knew exactly what kind of man he was, but he didn't care.

"Long time no see, Mr. Jones." David, with the flamboyantly dressed Karen, swaggered up to Dylan, smiling broadly and shaking his hand.

"And who is this?" Dylan's eyes lit up at the sight of Karen, his gaze fixed on her with unwavering intensity.

"This is my daughter, Karen Miller. Karen, this is Uncle Dylan. Karen's been doing business with me for almost a year now, and I hope you can give her some guidance in the future, Mr. Jones." David quickly pulled Karen to Dylan's side, introducing her comprehensively.

"Uncle Dylan, hello." Karen, still naive, thought David brought her to such occasions to train her for the future inheritance of the family business, completely unaware that David intended to sell her out for wealth.

"Don't be so formal. You can call me Dylan." Dylan, experienced in the world of alcohol and women, could tell from Karen's appearance that she was a seemingly demure but actually open-minded woman. His gaze, tinged with a hint of cloudiness, lingered on her with a knowing intensity.

Karen sensed the oddity in his gaze but still smiled politely, letting Dylan put his hand on her shoulder.

"Karen has an extraordinary temperament and is very smart. She will definitely achieve great things in the future," Dylan praised.

In front of David, Dylan's act of putting his arm around Karen's shoulder was clearly a test.

Karen felt uncomfortable and looked at David uneasily, but David pretended not to see it and continued to smile.

"Then in the future, we will need your care, Mr. Jones."

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Elsa received a photo. In the photo, Dylan had his hand on Karen's shoulder, he was looking down at the view inside her dress, while David stood opposite Dylan, smiling obsequiously.

Elsa almost threw up.

Elsa had thought David was just biased towards Karen, ignoring her and Vincent. Who knew David could do such a thing?

Now, everything David had done before made sense to Elsa. He only loved himself and would sacrifice anything to maximize his own interests.

David's intention in bringing Karen to socialize with Dylan was now crystal clear.

Elsa casually sent the photo to Chloe.

Elsa: [Take a look.]

Chloe was even more shocked and sent back a string of exclamation marks.

Chloe: [He actually did such a thing!!!!!]

Chloe: [You and Vincent were incredibly lucky to have grown up under Aunt Leslie's care.]

Chloe: [But if he really gets close to the Jones family, we need to be extra careful!]
