Chapter 247 Shatter It as You Please

Besides their awkward first night, this was the most proactive Elsa had ever been.

Luke was filled with a sense of foreboding, so he put in extra effort.

"We're not getting divorced, don't leave," he murmured against her lips repeatedly.

Elsa remained silent.

Once she made up her mind, she wouldn't turn back. She was determined to get this divorce.

Elsa kissed him back and hugged him tightly.

After this, she would never have another chance. Luke had slowly entered her heart and would slowly leave, until there was no trace left.

Yet, would he vanish as if he had never been there?

Her heart ached, and she didn't know.

In the throes of multiple climaxes, Elsa cried herself hoarse and didn't even know when she had fallen asleep.

When she woke up, Luke was already gone.

The suitcase she had packed was opened again, and everything was put back in its place.

"Get some rest, we're not getting divorced." Luke had left a note on the bedside table as usual. Elsa ran to the door and saw, as anticipated, several burly bodyguards standing guard.

[Are you putting me under house arrest?] she texted Luke, speechless.

[You're in a bad mood; take some time to rest.] Luke's response was a tacit admission.

[Do we really have to make this so embarrassing? Can't we have a peaceful divorce?] she continued.

Luke had thought it over calmly all night. He couldn't accept a life without Elsa, so he had made up his mind to keep her, no matter what it took.

[I'm sorry, but my decision won't change.] Luke stated. Then he inquired, [Elsa, what do you take me for? You marry me when you want, and divorce me when you want?]

Luke leaned back in his office chair, his heart aching more and more, his face looking terrible.

Max, who was reporting to him, could tell what was going on just by looking at him and didn't dare to offer any advice.

Luke's text didn't convey his tone, but Elsa was still annoyed.

Elsa: ["If you keep me locked up like this, believe me, I'll trash your house.]

Luke: [Go ahead, just be careful not to hurt your hands.]

Looking at Luke's reply, the bit of intimacy from last night was long forgotten by Elsa.

'Okay, I would trash it!' she thought.

Elsa walked into Luke's study and looked around.

'This vase looked nice.' Elsa gritted her teeth and threw it hard onto the floor. The vase shattered with a crisp sound, pieces scattering everywhere.

'This ornament looked valuable too.' Elsa picked it up and threw it hard.

'This airplane model was a limited edition from an airline.' She hurled it violently to the ground.

Before long, Elsa stood amidst the debris, took a photo, and sent it to Luke.

Luke looked at the shattered pieces and her foot captured in the photo, and couldn't help but frown.

"Lisa, bring Elsa a pair of slippers upstairsand ensure she doesn’t cut her feet," Luke said as he dialed the house phone.

"Should I go over and collect the valuable items in the villa?" Max tentatively suggested.

He thought to himself, Lisa was really something, smashing only the valuable items. That vase alone was worth as much as a house for an average family.

'Despite his beloved vase being smashed to pieces, Mr. Taylor's first reaction was to make sure Mrs. Taylor didn't cut her feet. If their relationship was so good, they shouldn't be fighting. It was the subordinates like him who suffered when Elsa gave Luke a hard time,' Max thought bitterly.

"Go ahead, and get some more things for her to smash, but don't make them too cheap, or she won't feel satisfied," Luke instructed.

"What?" Max was stunned.

Luke added, "Oh, and have Lisa keep an eye on her, make sure she doesn't hurt her hands."

'It was too indulgent,' Max thought speechlessly.
