Chapter 360 Don't Go Crazy
Jasmine got engaged to Terry, but she still couldn't let go of Jonny. People were like that—the more they can't have something, the more restless they become. She did everything she could to appear in front of Jonny, but Jonny never paid her any attention. That's when she came up with this stupid idea.
Elsa suddenly felt that the Taylor family was right to send Jasmine abroad. With her causing trouble at home, the Taylor family's reputation would be ruined sooner or later.
Jasmine couldn't think that far ahead. After hearing Elsa's words, she was completely stunned.
"It's not that serious. Stop scaring me! You're just trying to frighten me on purpose!"
Elsa sneered, "What, do you think you can sleep your way into Jonny's heart? Men care the most about their pride in these matters. If you coax him into bed, that's one thing, but drugging him? Do you think Jonny will see you as deeply affectionate?"
"This is also a matter for the Taylor family, none of your business!" Jasmine was terrified inside but still stubborn.
"Well, then I guess I spoke out of turn. I'm going to the hospital to see my friend. If there's anything, Jonny's lawyer will talk to you."
Seeing that Jasmine was impervious to reason, a trace of mockery flashed in Elsa's eyes. Analyzing the pros and cons with Jasmine was completely unnecessary. If Jasmine embarrassed herself, it would also disgrace the Taylor family. What did it have to do with her?
Jasmine was infuriated by Elsa's condescending look. "Elsa, do you think you're so great? What kind of look is that? If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be in this situation today..."
"Jasmine, shut up!" Luke, who had been standing silently with a cold expression, saw Jasmine's ungrateful outburst and grabbed a cup from the table, throwing it against the opposite wall, shattering it.
Jasmine was instantly scared into silence, not daring to speak.
"Sorry for the scene," Luke apologized to Elsa in a low voice.
Elsa curled her lips without saying a word and got up to leave.
She was wearing the outfit she had prepared for her evening livestream—a brown cashmere coat over a fitted silk dress, with her bare legs peeking out from underneath.
She wasn't wearing high heels; instead, she had on a pair of white fuzzy slippers, her toes slightly curled inside, each nail gleaming delicately.
From the moment he saw her, Luke's eyes hadn't left her.
As he watched her walk out, he said to Jasmine, "Pack up and get ready to go abroad," then naturally followed Elsa.
Seeing Luke follow her, Elsa was slightly surprised but allowed him into the elevator, where she found herself trapped between his arms and the elevator wall.
"I protected you today. Don't you think I deserve a reward?" Luke leaned in and whispered in her ear.
His voice was hoarse with a hint of affection, and his breath made Elsa's ears burn.
"That was Jasmine going crazy," Elsa said, her breathing becoming labored. Even though it was only a few floors, she felt like she was experiencing altitude sickness.
She just hoped the elevator would reach the ground floor quickly.
"Honey, I miss you so much." Luke's lips brushed against her earlobe, watching as her ears, cheeks, and neck turned red.
"Luke, stop it. We're already divorced," she said, her voice trembling as he took her earlobe into his mouth.
Her heart was racing, and her breathing was erratic.
When the elevator doors opened on the ground floor, Elsa felt like she was about to burst into flames.
She escaped Luke's grasp and walked out, with Luke's low laughter following her.
Watching her get into a small yellow car, Luke frowned.
What kind of car was she driving? How could that car be worthy of her?
