Chapter 379 Cooperation
Elsa had always aimed high, driven by a strong will to excel in everything she did.
However, her idea of "aiming high" was clearly different from what Jonathan had in mind.
Two hundred million dollars was an unimaginable sum for Elsa, who had grown up saving every penny. Even when Luke gifted her a property worth over a hundred million dollars, she never truly felt it was hers.
Now, this two hundred million in pure profit was something she had earned with her intellect and hard work. It was a surprising success, even to her.
"With a mind like yours, you should make the most of it. Everyone has their strengths, and yours happens to be making money. You should be grateful for that. Instead of being controlled by capital, become the capital and take control," Jonathan advised.
"Maybe this two hundred million was just luck," Elsa replied.
"If you can make two hundred million, you can make twenty billion, two hundred billion. Elsa, I know talent when I see it."
Fate was a strange thing.
Elsa had always thought she was content with a simple life, not caring much about money. The only times she had to earn money were to pay for her brother's medical bills.
Now, making money seemed to be her natural talent, something she could do effortlessly.
She remembered last spring, working at a club, smiling to sell a $598 bottle of whiskey. Life sure had its twists and turns.
Alright, with such a talent, it would be a waste not to use it.
This two hundred million could easily fund fifteen to twenty brick-and-mortar stores.
Making more money, and after graduating next year, investing in a jewelry business to do something she loved, would be a dream come true.
Coincidentally, just as Elsa was considering opening physical stores, she received several invitations from major shopping centers.
Curious, she did some background checks and found that these malls were all connected to the Taylor Group.
"What's this about?" She hadn't seen Luke in a while, so she messaged him.
"Nothing much; I just believe in your brand's future and want to collaborate more closely." Luke's reason was plausible.
"How did you know I was thinking about going offline?"
"Just a guess." Luke couldn't exactly say he had been watching her livestreams daily to ease his longing and noticed her appearances were becoming less frequent.
For a brand or business to thrive long-term, online presence alone wasn't enough. Even if Elsa hadn't considered it, Luke would have. But he knew Elsa was smart enough to figure it out.
"Well, you guessed right," Elsa said. "We can collaborate, but no special treatment. Poetic Patterns may be small, but we don't need charity."
"Of course, I'm a businessman after all."
Seeing Elsa's slight concession made Luke happy, though he maintained a businesslike demeanor.
In reality, when it came to Elsa, he had no real stance.
Even if Poetic Patterns were losing billions annually, he would still support it gladly.
For Luke, being useful to Elsa was his ultimate goal.
"Clear out the prime spots in these malls for Elsa," he quickly instructed Max.
