Chapter 170 Autograph

In Margaret's tale, Elsa's mom was causing a ruckus, so David booted her out. As David's eldest kid, Elsa got zilch, which was why she had snatched Luke from Karen in a fit of rage.

She spilled the tea to Debbie about how Elsa lured Luke in and added, "What kind of respectable family's daughter would pull that? Luke was just looking for a fling."

"No wonder she's so shameless!" Debbie was fuming. She didn't know the deets about Elsa and Luke before, and now she was even more pissed.

She asked, "How can Elsa be part of the Taylor clan!"

"David's totally cut ties with Elsa, but now he's brought his youngest son back home. Elsa always leaned on her little bro, so for her dad to treat her so harshly shows how awful she must be," Margaret sighed. "Poor Luke, stuck with Elsa for life."

"Elsa better not even think about it," Debbie said, looking grim.

She told the butler, "Go tell Elsa that if she agrees to a divorce, I'll help her get custody of her brother. If she doesn't, she can't blame me."

The butler nodded and took off.

"But Margaret, how do you know so much?" Debbie asked, eyeing her suspiciously, making Margaret nervous.

"I heard it from someone else," Margaret replied.

Debbie nodded and didn't push further. Margaret said she had let it go, but Debbie knew Margaret wanted to take Elsa's spot.

Despite this, Debbie also thought Margaret was a better fit as her daughter-in-law than Elsa. Therefore, sometimes she turned a blind eye to Margaret's little schemes.

When Elsa got home, it was almost noon.

Jonathan had heard about Vincent being taken away and hit her up. "Don't worry. I've got people looking into it. We'll find Vincent soon."

"Thanks," Elsa said, not in the mood to chat.

Since David wanted to see her reaction, he probably wouldn't be too harsh on Vincent. But she couldn't underestimate David's nasty side and needed to find him quick.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. It was the butler from the old house.

"Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. Debbie Taylor asked me to deliver a message," he stated.

"Go ahead," Elsa replied absentmindedly.

When the butler finished relaying Debbie's message, she snapped back to reality.

David acted so quickly this time because Debbie helped him!

She always thought Debbie only had Luke's best interests at heart and pushed her to leave, but she didn't see her as a bad person. Who would've guessed she was capable of such a thing!

Thinking this, Elsa felt a chill and sneered, "Go back and tell Debbie that I respected her as Luke's mother, so I didn't mind what she did to me before. Now that she's done this, she can't blame me for being rude."

Seeing the butler's panicked expression, Elsa waved her hand. "Forget it. I'll write it down for you to take."

She grabbed a piece of paper and wrote those words in a bold style, signing her name at the end.
