Chapter 157 Luke told himself not to be soft-hearted.

"Elsa, you dragged me to the casino, and now you're out golfing with Joseph? Since when do you even play golf?" Luke grabbed Elsa's arm and tossed her onto the sofa.

The sofa was soft, so she wasn't hurt. Even though Luke was pissed, he still had some restraint.

But Elsa's wild side kicked in again.

As she fell, she pretended to accidentally kick the coffee table hard.

The impact was bad, and her face went pale.

Luke stared at her leg, his lips pressed tight.

She did it on purpose!

From that angle, she wouldn't have hit it if she fell normally. Plus, people naturally protected themselves. Instead of pulling back, she leaned into the table!

Did she think hurting herself would make him feel sorry and give in? He'd show her she was wrong!

"It hurts so much!" Elsa really put some force into it to make it look real.

She was wearing white knit pants under her trench coat, and blood was seeping through.

Luke saw right through it. With a cold expression, he carried her upstairs and threw her on the bed.

"Honey, it hurts," Elsa said, looking at him with tearful eyes, trying to get his sympathy.

But Luke just sneered, "Do you only pull this trick on me, or do you use it on others too?"

"You act straightforward, but you're really good at manipulating men." His sarcasm cut deep, and Elsa's heart ached more than her leg.

"I can't help using a skill once I learn it. It's my problem," she said with a self-deprecating smile, lowering her eyes in despair.

Elsa was goal-oriented, so she didn't care about dignity. As long as she didn't hurt others, the means didn't matter to her.

That was why she used her first time to get into Luke's bed. After seeing that self-harm worked, she used it again.

Being a caddie for Jonathan and Joseph was just a way to get close to Joseph. She didn't care about her status as Mrs. Taylor.

Luke's wife being a caddie and playing golf at night was inappropriate. But she didn't care. All she saw was hatred.

Luke looked at her long eyelashes and the growing bloodstain on her white pants, feeling a tightness in his chest.

He said, "You're not leaving the house for three days. Let's see if you dare to do this again!"

He suddenly stood up and walked out quickly. If he didn't leave now, he might soften!

"Help Elsa bandage her leg later, and put some ointment on her wrist. Make sure she eats, and don't let her leave the house for three days," Luke instructed Lisa with a cold face as he came downstairs.

"Mrs. Taylor is hurt? Why does she need to be fed? Is it serious? How is she?" Lisa had just returned from grocery shopping and didn't know what happened. She immediately became anxious and ran upstairs, ignoring Luke.

Elsa was good at winning people over. Otherwise, so many wouldn't be willing to do anything for her.

Watching Lisa rush upstairs, Luke thought of the men who were overly attentive to Elsa and gritted his teeth in anger. She went to play golf with Jonathan, and as her husband, he didn't even know she could play!
