Chapter 272 Threatened by Dylan

The last time Elsa saw Dylan, he had set her up, and it had been more than half a year since then.

He used to look slightly younger than his actual age, but now he had aged rapidly. He had lost a lot of weight, and his cheeks and eye sockets were noticeably sunken. He was in his fifties, but people might believe he was seventy years old.

"Long time no see, Ms. Miller," Dylan said with a half-smile, looking at Elsa.

Elsa had just been untied and steadied herself internally. "Long time no see, Mr. Jones."

She looked around; it was a house, but she didn't know if it was Dylan's usual residence.

Her phone had been confiscated, so she had no way to call the police.

Elsa thought optimistically, 'Fortunately, Dylan no longer poses a sexual threat to me.'

"I invited you here to confirm something," Dylan said, glancing at Elsa sideways.

Elsa felt a chill run down her spine from his glance.

"Go ahead," Elsa said, maintaining her composure.

"I heard that I got an STD because of your scheme?"

Dylan had suspected Elsa long ago. But at that time, she had Luke backing her, so Dylan couldn't do anything about it.

After Sean's failed operation, Dylan's business had been sabotaged by Luke in various ways. Luke was in the limelight, while Dylan was powerless and had to swallow his grievances.

Now that Elsa was divorced, he was determined to get his revenge.

"What STD? You don't look sick at all," Elsa lied, maintaining a composed demeanor.

"Ms. Miller, you truly are the woman who could bring down the Miller family. This kind of calmness in the face of danger is something ten Karens couldn't match," Dylan said with a cold smile.

"The Miller family brought it upon themselves since they broke the law. What does that have to do with me? Mr. Jones, you overestimate me. As for your illness, I have no idea."

"Ms. Miller, your silver tongue is impressive. But now that you're in my hands, it doesn't matter what you say," Dylan said, with a sinister look flashing in his eyes.

"What do you want to do?"

Elsa was terrified inside, but her face remained emotionless.

"Of course, I want to talk to Mr. Taylor. I have my eye on a piece of land. If it weren't for Mr. Taylor's malicious bidding, my new building would be topped out by now," Dylan said, a hint of malice in his eyes.

"Mr. Jones, I'm just Luke's ex-wife," Elsa reminded him calmly.

She wasn't sure what Luke would do, as he was quite unpredictable. But he had just gotten her out of detention, and it wouldn't be fair to trouble him again.

"How would I know if I don't try? After all, Luke threatened Ian to clear your name, so getting a piece of land shouldn't be a problem," Dylan said, suddenly leaning close to Elsa. "If Mr. Taylor doesn't come, I won't lose anything. I have plenty of ways to have sex with you."

Dylan let out a lecherous laugh, and Elsa felt a wave of disgust.

'Dylan deserves to die of AIDS,' she thought bitterly, looking at him with undisguised loathing.

But how much of what he said was true? Did Luke really threaten Ian for her?

"It's late. Why don't you rest here, Ms. Miller? I'll see you tomorrow," Dylan said, striding away.

The door was locked from the outside, leaving Elsa alone in the courtyard. The chilly night wind made her shiver involuntarily.

Not long after, she heard the sound of a lock being opened, followed by hurried footsteps that didn't sound like Dylan's.

"Don't be afraid. I'm here to rescue you," Jonny said.
