Chapter 333 Catching an Affair
Elsa must have had a bit to drink; her face was flushed, and her eyes were glistening.
She saw Luke leaning against the wall smoking, pouted, and was about to leave.
Luke had been missing her terribly these past few days; how could he let her go?
He put out his cigarette, strode over, and wrapped his arm around her waist.
"Let go," Elsa said in a low voice, stepping on his foot with her heel.
Luke exerted some force and lifted her up, pressing her against the wall.
"Do you have a grudge against that woman, making her pay the bill?" Luke's tone was more teasing than questioning, as he whispered in her ear.
"She's Jasmine's friend, and she's partly responsible for hitting Max," Elsa sneered. "Tricking her into buying two bottles of wine is already lenient."
"You vengeful little thing," Luke chuckled.
Elsa's ears were her sensitive spot; his breath brushed past them, making her face even redder.
"Let go, I need to go back," Elsa tried hard to suppress herself, to avoid betraying the tremor in her voice.
She had come out for some fresh air, and now she ran into him again.
"I missed you," Luke mumbled, moving to peck her lips.
Elsa turned her head to the side, avoiding his touch. "Luke, you have Hailey now, isn't it inappropriate to still be sweet-talking me?"
"Let go of me." Just thinking about Hailey clinging to his arm made Elsa's heart feel like it was being cut by a dull knife.
"You're jealous," Luke said.
"I told you, give me some time. Since you already have a new love, stop entangling with me."
She pushed hard, trying to shove him away.
The door to Luke's private room opened, and someone walked out.
"Hurry, we'll be discovered," Elsa said nervously. She hadn't done anything wrong, yet she felt like she was caught doing something bad.
But the culprit, Luke, carried her nonchalantly to a small room by the stairs.
It was the janitor's closet, and the door was unlocked.
"What are you doing?" The height difference made standing and kissing too tiring, so Luke lifted Elsa and placed her on the workbench.
Footsteps were getting closer outside; it was Hailey.
"Luke, where are you?" Hailey's voice was clear; she must have reached the stairs.
Elsa was so weakened by Luke's kisses that she had no strength to push him away. They would be discovered; her heart was racing faster, and she gave Luke a warning look.
Luke acted as if he didn't hear, pulling her silk blouse out from her skirt and slipping his hand underneath.
He already had a girlfriend; what did he mean by doing this to her?
Elsa was both angry and anxious, and she bit his lip hard.
Luke grunted, then chuckled, his hand already inside her blouse, doing as he pleased.
"Hailey, did you find him?" another female voice called out.
"No, I don't know where he went. He wouldn't have gone to find Elsa, would he?" Hailey said.
"Call him," the other person suggested.
Luke, dizzy from the kissing, still had enough sense to pull out his phone and put it on silent.
"No one's answering," Hailey said.
"Aren't they done yet?"
"Luke doesn't like her anymore; she's the one clinging to him. She knew I had a gathering with friends today and came over just to make her presence known," Hailey said helplessly. "Does Elsa, that old woman, think she's particularly charming?"
Elsa almost laughed out of anger. How was she an old woman at 21? Wouldn't Hailey ever grow up?
She had thought Hailey was quite innocent, at least better than Margaret.
"Don't worry, with your family background, she wouldn't dare compete with you. And you're younger and prettier," the other woman was clearly trying to flatter Hailey, saying what she wanted to hear.
Not untrue, Elsa thought.
"Focus, baby," Luke said, unhooking Elsa's bra from behind while she was still listening intently to the conversation outside.
"Alright," Elsa's eyes flashed with cunning.
She reached out and hugged Luke back.
Their bodies pressed together, they could almost feel each other's heartbeats.
The janitor's closet was already small, and in this intimate atmosphere, they were both a bit short of breath.
"Strange, where did they go?" Hailey's voice got closer, seemingly right by the door.
Elsa felt disgusted, her eyes flickered, and she deliberately let out a long moan as if she couldn't hold it in.
Luke knew she was doing it on purpose and couldn't help but chuckle, sealing her mouth to stop her from making any more noises.
Whether Hailey heard anything or not, her footsteps gradually faded away.
Luke, having kissed enough, slowly let her go.
But Elsa was not one to let things go easily.
Her eyes darkened, and she suddenly bit down on Luke's Adam's apple.
