Chapter 100 Nora Is Tainted
Mortimer fell silent for a few seconds, sighing helplessly.
"Well, since you don't need my help, then I won't help." Mortimer reminded her, "I hope you don't take too long."
Leaving these words behind, Mortimer got into the car parked on the side of the road.
The moment the car door closed, the smile on his face disappeared instantly, replaced by a cold aura.
"Nora is so unfriendly. You treat her so well, and she still manages to make you angry!" Alaric complained angrily.
He felt that Mortimer was not worth it.

Mortimer lowered his gaze, a hint of contemplation appearing in the depths of his eyes.
With Nora being so distant now, he needed to find a way to repair their relationship.
Suddenly, an idea struck him.

Early in the morning, Kalista visited Edmund and Katie at the the Porter Family mansion.
Edmund and Katie didn't like Kalista and initially didn't want to see her.
But Kalista sent a message, claiming she was pregnant with Isaac's child, which prompted the elderly couple to let her into the mansion.
"Grandpa, Grandma, hello." Kalista walked into the living room, politely greeting them.
Edmund's expression was grim as he scrutinized Kalista with suspicion.
Edmund questioned, "Are you really pregnant with Isaac's child?"
Katie also looked skeptical.
Kalista smiled, "It's true. Isaac had Rhys check me last night, and it's confirmed. I've been pregnant for half a month. If you don't believe me, you can call Isaac or ask Rhys."
Edmund frowned, still not convinced.
Edmund said snidely, "Isaac wouldn't want to have sex with you. Even if you drugged him, he wouldn't touch you. How could you be pregnant with Isaac's child?"
Kalista's face stiffened, feeling a twinge of shame.
Edmund's words reminded her of the humiliation she had endured in the past.
But she quickly suppressed her unhappiness.
Softly, she said, "Half a month ago, Isaac and Nora quarreled. Perhaps he was too angry and spent the night with me."
"That night, I got pregnant with Isaac's child." Kalista added, "Nora is aware of this. If you don't believe me, you can ask Nora yourself."
Edmund's expression darkened upon hearing this.
He was furious.
Even if Isaac had a fight with Nora, he shouldn't have had sexual relations with another woman.
Now, with a child on the way, helping him and Nora reconcile would be even more difficult.

Compared to Edmund, Katie's expression improved slightly.

Edmund's expression turned extremely ugly, unable to refute Kalista's words.

Katie demanded, "You contact them immediately and have them come over right away!
"Today, I must clarify this matter.
"You may be confused with Isaac, deceived by that vixen Nora, but I am not!"
Edmund sighed and could only call Isaac to have him, and Nora come over to the old mansion.
Half an hour later, Isaac and Nora arrived at the the Porter Family mansion together.
As soon as Nora entered the living room, she sensed that something was amiss.
Moreover, she saw Kalista present as well.
