Chapter 155 Sorry, I Don't Love You Anymore

Isaac said, "Because I realized I can't let you go."

Nora stared at him, her heartbeat starting to race.

Isaac thought she didn't understand and explained more carefully, "To put it bluntly, I still love you. I want to be with you every day."

His deep eyes, filled with intense emotions, gazed at her seriously. Nora's mind went blank.

Nora thought, 'Isaac actually says he still loves me? That's impossible.'

"Don't you hate me anymore?" Nora asked in a daze.

Isaac darkened his eyes a bit, saying self-deprecatingly, "I never hate you. I am just angry that you are so heartless and don't value me."

Nora's heart trembled violently.

"How could you not hate me?" Her voice was trembling. "I did something that hurt you back then."

Isaac said honestly, "I can't completely disregard what happened back then. But I've realized that the pain of you leaving me is greater than the pain from what happened back then."

Nora was in a turmoil, seemingly losing the ability to think.

Isaac continued, "In the past three years, because you were always by my side, always trying to please me, I think you would never leave me. So, I act petulantly and don't face my true feelings. But since you left, I've found that my days are even more painful than those three years. So, I've decided to face my feelings for you. Can we start over? I'll let go of the past as long as you stay with me and never betray me again. I won't hold the past against you."

Nora was utterly shocked, her nose suddenly tingling, and tears welled up in her eyes.

For three years, she had been trying to please him, to get his forgiveness.

Now, she finally heard Isaac say he was willing to let go of the past and start over with her.

But it was too late.

She had only a little over a month left, and she could not start over with him.

If she had heard these words a bit earlier, she would have been overjoyed.

But now, Nora only felt heartache and bitterness.

Nora lowered her eyes, not daring to look at the intense emotions in Isaac's eyes.

But Isaac suddenly lifted her chin, lowered his head, and kissed her lips.

Isaac's kiss was intense and oppressive as if he wanted to convey all his feelings through this kiss.

Nora put her hand on his chest, trying to push him away.

But he was too strong, and her strength was weak, having no effect.

His kiss became more intense.

Nora soon felt weak all over from his kiss, her consciousness gradually becoming fuzzy. She didn't know how long it took, but Isaac finally moved his lips away from hers.

Nora gasped for air.

Her consciousness gradually returned. Nora realized that Isaac's kisses were moving down her neck.

Her body started to heat up from his kisses, and a primal desire began to awaken within her. But her rationality returned at the crucial moment. Nora gritted her teeth and pushed Isaac away forcefully.

"Don't do this!" Nora pulled her clothes back in place, gasping for breath, her voice trembling.

Isaac said hoarsely, "Nora, let's have a child. I've realized that I like children. Seeing that child in the office, I suddenly want to have a child with you."

Nora contracted her pupils, looking at him in shock. "Do you want me to have a child so that my child can serve you and Kalista's child to take revenge on me by abusing my child? Is that it?"

Back then, Isaac had said that to her.

Now that he suddenly brought up the issue of children again, it must be with the same intention as before.

Isaac explained, "I never intend to abuse our child. If you help me have a child, I would love him too much ever to abuse him."

Nora looked at him skeptically.

Back then, he had clearly said those words. Because of those words, she didn't dare tell Isaac about the children's existence.

Isaac's eyes showed a hint of self-mockery, and he said bitterly, "Do you remember when you were injured and hospitalized during your pregnancy? The doctor who take care of you in the hospital room is me. At that time, I asked you if you wanted the child in your belly, and you said without hesitation that you didn't want him."

Nora's pupils contracted, and her eyes were full of shock.

'The doctor who takes care of me back then is him? Could it be that Isaac really still loves me? Otherwise, why would he take care of me? He even helps with my urine,'  Nora thought.

Nora went blank in her mind, unable to think.

Isaac said self-deprecatingly, "You despise my child so much and don't want to keep him. For the sake of my pride, I deliberately tell you that I don't want the child you bear either and that I want you to give birth to him just to torment him. But now I don't want to deceive myself anymore, and I'm not afraid of being laughed at by you. What I'm telling you now is my true feelings. I want to start over with you, and I want to have a child with you! Nora, don't you always want to start over with me? I'm agreeing now. Let's start over!"

Nora's heart raced, with her hands clenching tightly at her sides.

She wanted to agree so badly.

But it was too late.

She didn't have the time to start over. Besides, Kalista was still pregnant with his child. Isaac saying these things might also be part of his revenge plan, wanting her to let her guard down and fall into the false affection he created, only to hurt her deeply again.

She couldn't let her heart waver, and she couldn't let him know about the children.

She couldn't gamble the children's future on his sincerity.

Nora took a deep breath and said harshly, "I'm sorry. I don't want to be with you anymore. I don't love you anymore."

"I don't believe you." Isaac's pupils contracted, and he shouted, "We've only been apart for a little over a month. I don't believe you could fall out of love so quickly."

Nora said, "Whether you believe it or not, it's the truth. You should live well with Kalista. I won't start over with you. I have a new life now, and I hope you won't bother me anymore. Take care."

Nora quickly said, then turned and fled in a panic. She didn't dare stay with him any longer, afraid she couldn't control her heart.

Isaac watched her hurriedly leave, his gaze gradually darkening and his aura growing heavier.

He had finally mustered the courage to confess his true feelings to Nora, generously letting go of his hatred and humbly asking her to reconcile.

But she was so heartless.

Nora said she didn't love him anymore.
