Chapter 371 Don't Get Smitten by Isaac
Isaac's face darkened, and he refused without hesitation, "No, he can't come over."
Magnus instantly became unhappy.
"Then I won't stay here. I want to go back. I want to see Mortimer."
Mortimer had instructed him to have Nora take him to see Mortimer often.
Nora hadn't been home for a while, so he couldn't ask her to take him to see Mortimer.
When called him, Mortimer sounded quite unhappy.
If he stayed here, he would see Mortimer even less.
He didn't want to make Mortimer angry.
Isaac patiently said to him, "Soren is lonely here. You can stay and keep her company while she recovers. Once she's better, you can go back and see Mortimer, okay?"
Magnus frowned.
Isaac said, "Soren is your sister. You need to care for each other and look after each other."
"Be a man and take care of your sister. Don't throw a tantrum, okay?"
Magnus pouted, even more unhappy.
Isaac actually said he wasn't acting like a man.
"Alright, I'll stay. If I take good care of Soren, does that make me a man?" Magnus looked up at him.
Isaac smiled, "Yes, that would make you a bit more like a man."
Magnus took Soren's hand resolutely.
Nora turned to look at Isaac, shocked that Magnus had been pacified so quickly and decided to stay.
Isaac raised an eyebrow at her.
She didn't understand the mind of a little boy.
Isaac helped move their luggage inside and settled them in, then he immediately driving back to Aridonia.
After returning to Aridonia, he picked up Rhys from the hospital and headed straight to Minnalora.
The child controlled by the Hansen family needed immediate treatment and couldn't wait any longer.
In fact, Isaac wasn't even sure who the real Magnus was or what the other child's name was, so he just called both children Magnus.
Names weren't important. He would ask the boy's name after rescuing him.
"Where are you taking me?" Rhys asked, puzzled, as he noticed the car heading in an unusual direction after getting in.
Isaac had only told him to wait at the hospital and that he would take him somewhere later to treat someone with an ear problem, so he should bring the necessary surgical tools.
But Isaac hadn't said where they were going.
Isaac replied calmly, "You'll know when we get there."
Rhys shrugged and didn't ask further.
It was dark by the time they arrived in Minnalora.
Rhys was hungry and suggested they eat first, but Isaac ignored him and drove straight into the Hansen Mansion.
"Why are you driving into the Hansen family's territory? What are you doing? Since when do you have dealings with the Hansen family?" Rhys asked, shocked.
He knew that after Isaac's father Daxton killed Isaac's mother, Daxton severed ties with the Porter family and joined the Hansen family.
He also knew that Isaac hated Daxton and equally despised the Hansen family.
For many years, Isaac had no contact with the Hansen family at all.
So why was Isaac bringing him here now?
Had Isaac reconciled with Daxton and started dealing with the Hansen family?
The Hansen family's guards let him in without stopping the car, indicating that Isaac had been here before.
Moreover, Isaac's current relationship with the Hansen family might be quite good, or they wouldn't have let him in without checking his car.
"Don't overthink it or ask too many questions. You're here to treat someone today, so just do your job." Isaac said calmly.
Rhys scratched his head, grabbed his medical kit, and followed Isaac into the Hansen Mansion.
The Hansen family was having dinner at the time.
Sylvie, Daxton, Liora, and Amara were all present.
Seeing Isaac bring Rhys in, Sylvie was somewhat displeased.
"Although I said you could come anytime, you should still show some courtesy and notify us beforehand, right?"
The first time he came, Isaac had notified them half an hour in advance.
Now Isaac was increasingly disregarding the Hansen family, not even giving a heads-up!
Isaac said coldly, "I'm the son of a scumbag. What kind of courtesy do you expect from me?"
Sylvie was silent.
She didn't know how to refute such a mutually damaging statement.
Daxton had a faint smile on his face and didn't get angry.
Liora's expression was indifferent, but she glanced at Isaac several times.
Amara openly admired Isaac, looking at him with eyes full of amazement.
As renowned as Isaac was, even if they had no previous interactions, Amara was still aware of his existence.
He was like a god, admired and appreciated by many.
Admiring strength was human nature.
Liora and Amara had secretly paid attention to Isaac long ago.
Sylvie had mentioned long ago that they must find a way to bring Isaac into the Hansen family.
But Sylvie hadn't specified who Isaac would marry.
So, Liora and Amara both assumed it would be themselves and had long considered Isaac their future husband.
Amara immediately put down her utensils and bounced over to Isaac, "Hi Isaac, I'm Amara Hansen. You can call me Amara. I'm your future wife. Please take care of me!"
She even playfully winked at him.
Liora slammed her utensils on the table, making a loud noise.
She coldly looked at Amara and warned, "Amara, stop talking nonsense. Mom originally planned for him to marry me!"
Amara put her hands on her hips and said, "You're the one talking nonsense. Mom later said that Isaac could marry whoever he liked."
Liora clenched her fists, glaring at Amara with anger.
Sylvie angrily said, "Enough, stop arguing."
Amara stuck out her tongue and huffed.
Liora restrained her anger, hesitated for a few seconds, and said to Isaac, "I'm Liora Hansen. I currently manage part of the Hansen Group. I think we have a lot in common and should talk more in the future."
Amara glared at Liora.
How shameless, using work to get close to Isaac. That's cheating!
Rhys was dumbfounded.
What was going on?
Isaac was going to marry a woman from the Hansen family? And both sisters wanted to marry him, leaving him to choose one?
What about Nora?
While he was seriously treating Soren, what had Isaac been doing outside?
Did Nora know about this?
Rhys kept staring at Isaac, looking at him like he was a jerk.
