Chapter 324 Jumping Down from Upstairs
The bodyguard said, "Don't worry, Magnus is not in any danger. He's just throwing a tantrum and won't let anyone near him. He's been sitting on the rooftop for two hours now. We're worried he might fall or get sick from being in the wind for too long."
Nora's heart tightened with concern. Then she immediately asked the bodyguard for the address and drove over.
The car stopped in front of a three-story villa, which was a place Edmund had specially set up for Magnus to correct his behavior and study.
Inside, it was transformed to look like a small kindergarten, with various toys and facilities, as well as teaching staff.
There were not only childcare workers but also teachers for other subjects.
Edmund had also carefully selected some well-behaved children of the same age to help correct Magnus's behavior, so he wouldn't feel lonely.
Nora got out of the car and immediately saw Magnus sitting on the edge of the roof, his little legs dangling over the balcony.
A safety airbag had already been set up below, so even if he fell, he wouldn't be in any danger.
But seeing this, Nora's heart still clenched tightly. She had repeatedly taught the kids not to go to dangerous places. Why did Magnus still do it?
Suppressing her anger, she quickly ran into the villa and went upstairs.
"Magnus, why are you here? What's on your mind? Can you tell me?" Nora asked softly as she approached Magnus.
Magnus turned to look at her. "Don't come any closer."
Nora stopped and said gently, "Okay, I won't then. Can you tell me what you want?"
Magnus pursed his lips and said, "I want uncle Mortimer."
Nora was stunned.
After a few seconds of silence, Nora said, "Mortimer has his own things to do. He's not part of our family, so we can't keep bothering him. If you want to see Mortimer, I can take you to see him once a week, okay?"
She couldn't outright reject his request. The more she refused, the more he would miss Mortimer.
She needed to gradually reduce the frequency of their meetings until he no longer relied on Mortimer so much.
Magnus said, "No, I want to see him now. I want to live with uncle Mortimer every day."
Nora said, "We are not family with Mortimer, so we can't do that. Only family do that."
Magnus pouted and said, "Then just become family with uncle Mortimer."
Nora was shocked and quickly said, "No, we can't become family with him."
"Why not?" Magnus said matter-of-factly, "You can marry uncle Mortimer, and then we'll be family."
Nora opened her mouth.
But before she could speak, a cold voice came from behind her. "She will never marry Mortimer because she is already married to me!"
Nora was startled and turned to see Isaac's tall figure. His extraordinarily handsome face was covered with a layer of gloom, making him look very intimidating.
"Isaac? Why are you here?" She asked in surprise.
Isaac said, "They called me too, so I came to check."
He hadn't expected to hear Magnus saying that as soon as he arrived. And he was furious about it.
If Magnus were his child, he would definitely teach him a lesson.
It was impossible for Magnus to take his wife away and marry her to someone else!
Isaac suppressed his anger and coldly said to Magnus, "Magnus, we've always indulged you because you're young. No matter how you act out, we've let you be. But you can't go too far. Listen carefully, your mom and I are married. She will never marry Mortimer. And because of it, I am naturally your father. From now on, you only have one father, and that's me!"
He would never let the kids acknowledge Mortimer as their father, even if Mortimer was their biological father.
Magnus angrily said, "I don't want you, I only want uncle Mortimer!"
Isaac's face darkened further, and he said through gritted teeth, "You have no choice. I am your father. If you don't want to acknowledge me, then you can't have your mom either. You have to take both of us!"
Magnus's eyes reddened, and he clenched his little fists tightly. He glared angrily at Isaac.
The next second, he jumped off the roof.
"Magnus!" Nora's face turned pale, and her legs went weak.
Isaac quickly moved to her side, supporting her trembling body, and said in a deep voice, "Don't worry, there's an air mattress below. He won't be in any danger."
Nora immediately ran downstairs with a pale face.
Isaac followed with a grim expression.
He hadn't expected Magnus to actually dare to jump. And Magnus wasn't scared at all.
That child was troublesome.
If they couldn't correct him, he would definitely become a threat in the future.
A ruthless look flashed quickly in Isaac's eyes.
He might secretly send him away, have someone control him, and never let him near Nora again.
It was cruel. But it was better than letting him cause trouble and hurt others.
He was only three years old and had already hurt Edmund and Soren, who were close to him. He would be even more ruthless to strangers.
Isaac took a deep breath, suppressing his dark thoughts, because it was not the right time now.
He would wait for the psychologist's follow-up evaluation before making a decision.
If there was still hope, he would give Magnus a chance.
If he was beyond saving, then he would be confined for the rest of his life.
By now, they had reached downstairs.
The bodyguard had already taken Magnus off the air mattress.
He wasn't hurt, but the fall had left him a bit dazed.
Nora ran over, holding him in her arms, her eyes red. "Magnus, why are you so disobedient? How could you dare to jump? Aren't you afraid of missing the air mattress and hitting the ground?"
Magnus slowly came to his senses and coldly said, "I want uncle Mortimer. If you don't let me see him, I'll jump to the ground without an air mattress next time."
